Coincidentally, they're also the "Not Fucking Clear On Covering Your Damn Noses" Coalition. |
At the time of this writing, it is still not clear if the shooter will be charged with any crimes or simply receive a special commendation for public service.
The group's founder, Grandmaster Jay (who apparently doesn't know the name "master" is potentially offensive), assured the public that his militia's presence is no cause for alarm, that their intent is entirely peaceful and, if they don't get exactly what they're demanding in the next four weeks, that Louisville will be left in ashes because "we are going to burn this motherfucker down."
Should that occur, for the safety of the NFAC's surviving members, we'd like to recommend that they don't ask Dr. Anthony Fauci to throw out the first molotov cocktail...

It occurs to me that nice neat lines like that are perfect for a napalm drop...
While all the other kids were playing Little League, Lil’ Anthony was indoors practicing his violin.
Our the capital city of my state, Richmond, there were the news tells me,. similar 'peaceful protests' about???
Part of this I am starting to believe is put of pent-up energy in some after being sequestered/quarantined for so long. But in an Oped posted last night on the WSJ, written by a democrat no less, this tell it better:
"Democrats should forget President Trump for a second. The current round of violence isn’t being undertaken by civil-justice or other reformers but by radicals using Jacobin street-violence tactics. The idea is to provoke confrontation and violence with constituted authority so as to discredit it, counting on a few gullible local residents to see police as oppressors. The pretense of peaceful protest is rapidly disappearing."
A couple of further thoughts. One, the more this continues the greater the backlash will be, possibly resulting in a Red November? ( If it were possible for the current VA governor to run for re-election, I suspect that after his shenanigans of removing Confederate statues; the latest, the statue of Robert E. Lee in the U.S. Capital will be removed, He'd be buried in an electoral avalanche).
Second, and last, It seems odd that humans as defined, are imperfect beings. so why is it throughout human history are there humans who are convinced/deluded they can create a 'perfect' government/society?
Years ago there was a movie called "The gang that couldn't shoot straight". I think we have a remake. Also, I thought I saw a bunch of rifles stuck in the lawn, muzzles first. I will pay to see a video of one (or all) of them fire their weapons without cleaning them.

Every day we inch a little closer to live rounds being used in various places. 'Nuff said.
Dr. Fauci threw the ball that way on purpose. He doesn’t want anybody to catch anything.
In the old days, we'd call that "The March of the Retards". We can't call anyone retards anymore, even if they are.
Can you go easier with the expletives? I had enough of that in the military.
@Gpadwds: You win today's comments.
@Jess: I commend Kornbluth's "The Marching Morons" to your attention. http://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/51233
Like the Title about "Guerrillas In Our Midst," don't know or care if Dr.Fossey would have chuckled.
But really... who ever heard of a NAPA named "Lyle ?"
Happy Scotch Day !!!
Wow! Way to bury the real gutbuster in a caption, Stilt! Reminder: MLB supports the fight against Dyslexia!
Says the dyslexic atheist, "Oh my Dog!"
Given the threat made, if any NFO participants show up in Louisville four weeks from now that should be sufficient justification to arrest each on suspicion of intended arson.
Would have been much better to replace "Fauci" with "Covid" to go along with his "19" jersey.
Anyone else notice Mini Godfather 'Dr.'(that sees no patients) Fauci's pitch was WAY 'short' and to the 'left'??.........Just sayin'..........
Interesting times indeed. I am too fed-up with the world to really say more. Thank you Stilton for doing the heavy lifting.
Correction: NFA not NFO
If the NFAC was serious about reducing crime, murder, and disorder, I'd suggest they focus their efforts on neighborhoods where the police have been ineffective at reducing crime, murder, and disorder. But I think we all know that's hardly the point. Either way, it looks at the only thing they're good at is the disorder part.
As for Fauci and throwing Molotov cocktails, his credibility took another hit last week when he suggested that New York has set an example for the rest of the country of how to successfully bring down cases of coronavirus.
Really? The state that mandated that recovering-yet-still-infected patients be discharged from hospitals to nursing homes where the most vulnerable likely victims lived instead of the emergency facilities that the state and federal governments spent billions setting up and yet remained almost totally unused?
The only success I saw there was the elimination of billions of dollars of future Social Security and Medicare liabilities.
Related: One debate that we've seen disappear from the front-and-center of the Progressive platform is gun control. And without a doubt, if this summer's numerous outbursts of anarchy across the nation has proven anything, it's the vital importance of the 2nd Amendment in an age of muted law enforcement response and "defund the police" movements. Remember, at the end of the day most of these anarchists are cowards and know better than to take their mayhem to venues where they know people are well-armed, pissed off, and ready to shoot back.
But alas, although muted the agenda has not disappeared:
Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot said on CNN's "State of the Union" Sunday that her city is being "inundated with guns" from outside states, and that President Trump could push for gun control measures if he truly cared about helping Chicago
Of course, the Progressive NPC zombie chorus will nod their heads in total agreement with this. And yet, nobody seems to ask a follow-up question:
Why don't these states with these supposedly "loose gun control" laws not experience the sort of gun mayhem that Chicago does?
Cue the crickets.
Made me think of a rock group called "Jay and the Ass Pirates"".
It' often surprising when outside their specialty... How little awareness, talent, motor skills, ability to use tools, etc so many bureaucrats, celebrities, stars etc. lack. And also for such an honor as MLB First Pitch... apparently not willing to practice a bit before making the appearance. I hesitate to mention her; but an example was when Kim Kardashian appeared on "DWTS". What a joke; she could hardly walk, much less dance. I like when rank amateurs put some effort into something new & do very well.
@Fish Out of Water quoted a rare moment of clarity from a Democrat.
I fault a couple if things:
A) After being locked down for most of the winter and spring, there certainly was a lot of pent-up energy among those left with nothing else of substance in their lives. That was ripe for exploitation.
B) It's an organized effort fueled by various Progressive movements to distract America from the fact that Progressivism has been an abject failure. Given a choice, most people would much prefer to return to America as it was in January than move on to anything that the Democrats are offering us in November. The Wuhan virus wasn't enough to derail Trump, but the economic damage from both the virus and 5 months of rioting certain has had an effect. Everything else they've tried to unseat Trump failed. Perhaps a country of burning rubble will be enough. Since the Progressive movement is largely run by people who are totally unable to build anything but perfectly capable of destroying, they don't care.
@Gpadwds wins my Belly Laugh of the Morning" award.
I love these idiots who dress up like soldiers, and march down the street with their guns, trying to look tough and scary. I say, send 'em all to Paris Island in the middle of August for a few weeks and see just how tough they really are.
@John the Econ,
I grew up in Wyoming, where everybody and their dog has multiple guns. Gun violence is nearly non-existent in Wyoming. And as far as I know, you don't need a f**king permit to buy one. Kinda flies in the face of genius Lightfoot, doesn't it?
while happiness is a belt fed crew served weapon and when you no longer give a damn, send an M-67 greeting card. learning to march in formation is the least thing a guy can learn in basic. things like self discipline, dedication to an ideal, service to country, countrymen and countrywomen, loyalty to one's country, obedience to law and lawful orders of those the US Constitution has put above one, being a conscious humanitarian, and citizenship are also things a guy or gal learns in basic. these clowns are not soldiers. it is insulting to soldiers to call them such. in the end,I only see them as targets.
Of course, Beetlejuice, er I mean Lightweight Lightfoot, blames the guns like they just jumped up and started shooting people. Never are the criminals who shoot up Chicago day after day, week after week, year after year, blamed for their egregious actions. Only to blame are the police, who are trying against all odds to keep the murdering from happening, despite RESISTANCE from their boss. And, of course, the guns who just magically appear in the criminals' hands despite the strictest gun laws in the country. It's all Trump's fault. And idiots keep voting for Democrats.
@M. Mitchell Marmel- So would that phrase be a hashtag or a "harsh"-tag?
@Edam Wensleydale- Targets of opportunity...
@Fish Out of Water- The WSJ (and our own eyes) has it right: this isn't about George Floyd or black lives...it's about anarchy and anti-Americanism. And I'm hoping that it leads to Democrats being crushed in November, though I'm not betting on it yet. Regarding your second point, I think that the people who believe a "perfect" society can be created are either stupid, or power-hungry enough to think that they could force their idea of perfection on others.
@Fred Ciampi- I worry about the bullets that have started flying. There haven't been many yet, but it wasn't too long ago that there hadn't been many cases of Covid-19.
@Gpadwads- I am standing and applauding that joke.
@Jess- Yes, we're more sensitive than that now. Although we can still call them assholes.
@John- Sorry about the expletives today! I was going with a theme set by the "Not Fucking Around Coalition," which is their real name. And which is sadly hilarious because by picking that name, they demonstrate that they ARE effing around. For what it's worth, I don't plan to make f-bombs a regular feature here!
@Alej- Yes, today's title was a shoutout to Dr. Fossey - good catch! And for whatever reason, calling that guy "Lyle" just struck me as funny.
@REM1875- I'll drink to that! I even hit the liquor store today to pick up another 3 jugs of Clan MacGregor!
@Pat Cummings- I like hiding little jokes in different places. Glad you caught it!
@Hawken Cougar- I agree! The group is known and the threat has been made. What else is needed?
@A.Dumas- Dang, I didn't even make the connection with Covid-19! Good catch! Or, uh, it would have been a good catch if Fauci didn't throw into an adjoining county.
@David in SoCal- In complete honesty, I've never seen such a poorly thrown ball in my life.
@TrickyRicky- You're welcome!
@Hawken Cougar- Nice vowel movement...
@John the Econ- Fauci is essentially dead to me on all things coronavirus-related. He lied about masks from the beginning, and we'll be paying the price for his mendacity for a long time. Then, of course, he tried to bury effective treatments, promote ineffective treatments, and discourage discussion of the fact that he supervised the U.S. dollars that went to the Wuhan lab to do wildly dangerous "gain of function" research on making bat viruses human-compatible (that's not a conspiracy: that's recorded fact). Fuck that guy.
And excellent point about the NFAC, who - rather than being vigilantes for justice - are simply performing an armed version of the Darktown Strutters Ball for public attention. You've also nailed the truth of the situation in Chicago.
@Sortahwitte- Oh great, now I have to do a google search on that band and have it in my algorithm forever... (grin)
@Rod- Really, what was with that freaking pitch by Fauci? Is this guy allowed to drive? I would have expected better from Stephen Hawking.
@Colby Muenster- I agree. Let's see how these "tough guys" do with basic training. Regarding guns and Chicago, it would seem that the actual problem is that the city has an abundance of horrible, murderous, people. No gun law will help with that.
@capt fast- Well said, sir!
@Colby Muenster said "I grew up in Wyoming, where everybody and their dog has multiple guns. Gun violence is nearly non-existent in Wyoming. And as far as I know, you don't need a f**king permit to buy one. Kinda flies in the face of genius Lightfoot, doesn't it?"
If we had anything resembling honest social science in government or academia anymore, someone might do a study of what differentiates communities with high gun violence versus those with low-to-non-existent gun violence. Obviously, the difference isn't the existence or availability of guns.
A good starting point might be that chart from the Smithsonian National Museum of African-American History and Culture, but that would almost certainly be considered "racist".
Poor babies. Serves you right. Act like a jackass, reap the rewards.
Kinda like the clown who fired into a car in Texas. The driver shot back killing him. Served him right.

Agree...history should be judged by historians and not by an hysterical mob.
I don't believe Dian Fossey ever earned the title "Dr." Honorary, maybe?
@JustaJeepGuy: Interestingly, Fossey's bio on the Gorillas Website Mentions the title of "Dr." for her in only one place: A photo of her at a book-signing. Britannica, however, says Fossey "left Africa in 1970 to complete work for a doctorate at the University of Cambridge in England. In 1974 she received her degree in zoology with the completion of her dissertation, 'The Behavior of the Mountain Gorilla.'”
@Pat Cummings: Here is a variation on your first comment.
How do you describe an obsessive/compulsive, agnostic, dyslexic insomniac?
This is a person who stays up all night, saying over and over, "Is there a dog? Is there a dog?"
@ringgo1: Yes, and the dyslexic philosopher tried to comfort him by saying, "Dog is dead, and Santa killed him..."
For laughs, or if anyone is interested.....
