Merry Kiss Miss!

stilton’s place, stilton, political, humor, conservative, cartoons, jokes, hope n’ change, valentine, busty ross

Our Monday moaning post has proved accurate, and we're still dividing our time between coughing up organs (we lost our little-used spleen, but are hoping to hang on to most of our liver as it's essential in the biohazard-style processing of Clan MacGregor) or alternately enjoying codeine-induced hallucinations.

For instance, we had a wild one a day or so ago in which Nancy Pelosi actually disciplined a hijab-wearing Democrat congresswoman for making wildly anti-Semitic tweets (and this just after the same shrill woman demanded that Homeland Security be defunded!). Crazy, huh?!

But rather than leave you empty-handed today (and Friday, for that matter), we're at least sharing this vintage Valentine which aspires to Make America Smooch Again.

Frankly, if Busty Ross was to set up a kissing booth near the Rio Grande, and charge one brick for a quick lip-lock, we could get Trump's wall built in no time. And the line of men waiting for their turn would probably make a functional wall and the mortar set on the real thing.

As we said above, we're taking the rest of the week off to finish recovering and attend to some chores. Although we'll try to return Monday for President's Day. Or, as we like to think of it, "Still Not Hillary Day."

And hope you stop coughing up vital organs, Stilton! :D

  3. Wow! a vintage Valentine. Very nice, and I didn't realize Busty was that old. She's doing even better than Christie Brinkley. Get well, Stilt.

  4. Now that's a valentine! 😍😍😍 I too am on the recovery wagon from a beastly sinus infection. Get well soon!

  5. That card with Busty is a masterstroke. Have a whole basket of inner grins imagining what such card featuring Lefty would look like.

But swinging back to politics, seems the former bartender from NYC and somehow now Member of Congress has come out and said she is proud of the recent "apology" from the freshman anti-semite Member of Congress from Minnesota. And for those who are able to access the WSJ Op Ed page, there's a strikes to the heart piece I wold highly recommend in today's edition titled 'Democrats and Anti-Semitism'.

One thing I still remember from my political science courses is that a House member's #1 priority is constituent care and from what I am seeing, with all the headlines sought after by Occasional Cortex and the Hater from Minnesota, They aren't doing a whe lot of that and I say their political careers will be short.

An excellent read indeed! Thanks for the headsup!

  7. @Fish- The dems are wildly anti-semitic, just like their socialist heros in Europe. Which begs the question, why are Jews in the United States still reliable dem voters? Dogma and a forty year old perception of the party I suppose.

  8. @ Tricky Ricky

The democratic party I would say has always been a party of haters and oppesors. If you look at their history:

They imported, sold and kept by force a people under slavery.
When that didn't work, the democrats went to war.
When that didn't work, they used terror.
When that didn't work, they used the law.
When that didn't work, they used obstruction,
and when that didn;t work, they created 'social programs' to make them little better than tenants on a government run 'plantation'.

There's a graphic going around the Web featuring Fauxcahontas in full scold mode with the caption. "The Democrats used to be a political party. Now they're a mental health crisis.'

  10. Oh, to be younger. Now, the demorats run their party exactly like the Mafia. Family members can do no wrong unless it is attack the head or those in the hierarchy. That call for punishment so the good old NY congresswoman who has made her bones is in for a rough ride coming soon. The good news is there is no serious contender of the 20+ wannabees. Then too, that will dilute the begging money among them.
Stilt: Hang in there. Sounding like a car cranking with a low battery gets old, ribs get sore but feeling bad is the worst of it. No energy.

  13. Nancy Pelosi actually disciplined a hijab-wearing Democrat? I'd say disciplined is kind of a strong word here. Pelosi feigned disapproval perhaps, but I don't see any real consequences for Ilhan Omar. At best, it was a suggestion that in the future, keep the antisemitism we all know you represent on the down-low for mass consumption. After all, her base is firmly aware of her antisemitic bonafides and know she'll be working diligently against Israel and Jews in general at every opportunity. Nearly-transparent antisemitism is just something Pelosi has to live with for the sake of the Democrat's electoral majority. Don't worry Ilhan, you're perhaps less than a decade away of being able to express you and your community's sentiments publicly with pride.

Sorry to hear you're still under the weather, @Stilton. I've had a stupid cough since October; a gift brought home by Mrs. Econ from one of her co-workers who wished to show up for a meeting transparently sick as a form of virtue signalling. Afterwards, we all got to suffer. Fortunately, my cough has mostly been an annoyance as my internal organs remain in place while only mildly annoyed.

Please rest up and we'll see you next week.

  14. Stilt I do hope you feel better. Here is something to brighten your day. As I write this Hillary has not been President for the last 753 day 23 hours and 33 minutes. See not all is bad in the world.

  15. @Fish and @TrickyRicky --

I have an idea why the so many of the Jewish folks here in the US remain reliable Dem voters.

From what I've read and heard, observant Jews are often conservative and vote accordingly. Still, many folks claiming to be Jews are not observant, never attend Jewish services, don't keep Kosher, and are effectively JINOs (Jews In Name Only).

They continue to claim to be Jews mainly for the "victim" cred they get to claim by identifying as Jews.

And Stilton, could part of your malady be cedar fever? Whatever I hope your malaise becomes less painful. Get well soon.

  16. Get better, please. I am on the tail end (hopefully) of the worst case of bronchitis in the history of mankind. I am in my fifth week of it after two rounds of antibiotics, two breathing treatments, an oral steroid and two steroid shots, codeine cough syrup and hydrocodone cough syrup, neither of which worked. Let's pray that's not what you have. I wouldn't wish it on anyone, except maybe Hillary and Barack.

If I were you, I'd stay far away from any drug-sniffing dogs.
    Get well soon!

Thank you. I just wish having taken all that stuff, it made me better. Unfortunately, it didn't. It's just something you have to muddle through.

  20. Stilt,
As a Texan, can you tell me the difference between Beto and Bevo? Both deal in BS and Beto like Bevo has a point here and a point there and a whole lot of "Bull" in between. An inquiring Michigander would like to know!

    ReplyDelete
  21. Beto has no horns...he is a pointless Democrat.

    ReplyDelete
  22. We intend to get back, but had to leave Texas long enough ago that we had not heard of Beto O' until this last election campaign. He lost; but just a couple of days ago I briefly saw where he was a headliner on some TV show. I don't know what show & we won't watch it; but I guess this will be another case of Libs using entertainment industry to promote their politicians (Notice I didn't say leaders) & attack opponents. There's never been much linkage there that makes sense but in current culture it can work. How stupid of us. If I learn of that show and network (maybe on I-net)... the main thing I will note are the sponsors.

Thank you for your thoughtful and truthful comments. I do believe I have read your comments on Daily Wire (Ben Sharpiro). Very well stated! שמור על האמונה בייבי!

  24. Stilton,

Hope you are on the mend, and not attracting flocks of geese with the honking! Hard to beat hydrocodone for a cough, but it sure can screw with your sanity and ability to actually stay awake and function. I don't know about anybody else, but that stuff also makes me itch all over.

I had a brilliant thought today! Well, maybe not brilliant, but... Actually, it's probably been tossed out there more than once.

If the Republicans really want a wall and border security, all they have to do is oppose building a wall, and propose abolishing ICE. They should also become advocates for late term abortion, free college, and banning guns. After the liberal's heads stopped reeling, they'd suddenly want to build a wall, arrest all the illegals, protect the unborn, and give every citizen an AR-10.

Come to think of it, didn't Liz Cheney just do something like that? She entered Occasional Cortex's "Green Deal" into the Congressional Record, and advocated holding a vote on it. McConnell's doing the same in the Senate. Make these turds go on the record one way or another!

    ReplyDelete
  25. @ Colby Muenster: " Make these turds go on the record one way or another! "
You know, it could conceivably backfire and actually pass, in which case it would go down in history as the penultimate "hold my beer" moment. Not likely, but then again, how many of today's headlines would have seemed likely, or even possible, not that many years ago?

I'm funning, of course. As Frank Zappa once said, "It can't happen here..."

    ReplyDelete
  26. It certainly could happen, and after a period when it obviously became a huge problem, these D. assholes would be harping about how it happened on Trump & Republican watch. As retired President Harry S.Truman once said when describing his post-wartime failed attempts to deal with Stalin after the Malta summit... "How can you do business with folks like that?

The answer was & still is; you can't. And it's implied that after reasonable attempts; time will just be wasted in trying. And IMO these D. leaders are every bit as opposed to the USA as was Stalin, who was still officially an ally.

  27. Happy Friday, all! See ya Monday!

Hope you're feeling better, Stlton! :)

  28. @Readers- Unlike Ruth Bader Ginsburg, I'm still not dead AND have been seen in public! Still working on this cough but overall doing fine. And I picked a helluva day to take off, what with McCabe's testimony that there was (and is) essentially a coups attempt by our intelligence agencies against Trump...and as of today, Trump's declaration of a national emergency to free up funds for his border wall. The Lefties of my acquaintance are losing their minds, as if building a length of wall will officially be the end of planet Earth. Nitwits.

    Stilton's Place
    Mon Feb 18, 2019

    Dear M. Mitchell,

To make up for our recent sick days, we're giving you FOUR cartoons today, interspersed with the usual amount of cynical verbiage about nitwits in the news.

What better invitation could you possibly want for visiting Stilton's Place?

    Stilton Jarlsberg

    But where is it? :/

    ReplyDelete
  31. I can only assume that this morning's email promising four cartoons was but a cruel joke. Or maybe now there's a 90% "cartoon tax" and the email is all we get after witholding. Or just a technical glitch. I'll assume the latter.

  32. He's still sleeping. I put a note by the coffeepot several hours ago. Should be up soon.
