The Cart Before The Hearse
On Wednesday, we saw the first image of an actual black hole and, despite a bit of kidding from us, it was astounding and important. And not solely because it provides a perfect metaphor for a big, developing news story: the arrest of Wikileaks' Julian Assange.
Regarding the black hole picture, it's impossible to see the black hole itself because of the mind-blowing forces which the core exerts to keep anything from escaping. But we can infer a lot by the accumulation of seethingly hot material circulating around that mysterious center and defining its edges.
And so it is with the case of Julian Assange's sudden arrest and forcible removal from the Ecuadoran embassy within 24 hours of Attorney General William Barr's announcement that he's actively investigating the circumstances behind the attempted coup (our words, not his) of President Donald Trump via falsified charges of Russian collusion...and subsequent spying on Trump's campaign by intelligence agencies closely aligned with Barack "Gotta Protect My Legacy" Obama, and Hillary "I Sold My Soul For The Presidency" Clinton.
We don't yet know what's at the impenetrably black center of all this, but it's certainly interesting to look at the white hot material that's now circulating around this nexus.
Key to the Russian collusion case is the idea that the Russians hacked DNC computers (for Trump's alleged benefit) and gave the embarrassing information to Wikileaks to hurt Hillary. But Assange knows where that information really came from...and he hasn't been shy about saying that it wasn't Russia. Rather, he's hinted that the DNC materials may have come from someone within the party itself. Perhaps someone like young DNC staffer Seth Rich, who was upset that Hillary essentially bought the entire DNC for the express purpose of taking Bernie Sanders (at the height of his popularity) out of the presidential race, and who may have shared information with Assange. Seth was subsequently shot to death on the street...with no signs of an altercation or robbery.
If Assange names Seth Rich as his source and provides evidence to prove it, all Hell is likely to break loose (which we're enthusiastically in favor of). Moreover, if it can be clearly shown that our intelligence agencies knew that the Russians weren't the source of the leaks, they'll have a pretty hard time explaining why they subsequently began spying on a presidential candidate (based on a clearly fictitious dossier funded by - surprise! - Hillary Clinton), as well as employing high-ranking agents who vowed that they'd make sure Trump either never won, or would never serve.
It's a very high-stakes game, and at the moment we don't know which team just grabbed Assange. Did Trump order a preemptive arrest to keep Assange safe and get his testimony? Or did the Deep State/Obama/Hillary cabal snatch Assange to silence him permanently (be watching for telltale press stories reporting Assange to be suffering from "serious health problems," so snuffing him will seem at least slightly less obvious to those who've never heard of Arkancide).
Like that Black Hole, we can't see what's at the center of all this yet. But our gut tells us that it's absolutely massive...and that a lot of political hacks are about to be sucked inexorably into a crushing maw of unimaginable force.
BONUS: STARR LITE...
Speaking of people whose unlikely and untimely deaths benefitted Hillary Clinton's political ambitions, we're now hearing that Independent Counsel Ken Starr, in his final report about the Clintons' Whitewater scandal, tastefully omitted his conclusion that Hillary Clinton drove her "friend," attorney Vince Foster, to suicide by ripping him to shreds in front of White House staff.
Starr says that he cut his conclusion from the report to spare Hillary the pain of having to deal with what her cruel actions had caused. And that's plausible, we guess.
Also plausible is that Ken Starr didn't want his own dead body found in the middle of a public park with no grass on the bottoms of his shoes, next to an empty briefcase which - after being searched multiple times - suddenly and spontaneously produced a typed suicide note, torn into easily reassembled pieces, but bearing no fingerprints. Nor would Starr want Hillary's staffers to duck under the police crime scene tape surrounding his office to steal boxes of files...all of which happened to Vince Foster.
Let's be really clear about something: Hillary Clinton never intended to win the 2016 presidential election fairly...and she sure as Shinola didn't intend to lose the election fairly. Her crimes are known, many, and so far unpunished. Here's hoping that changes soon.
AND FINALLY...
According to Representative Ilhan Omar, the ravingly anti-semitic Muslim congresswoman from Minnesota, the organization CAIR (the Council on American-Islamic Relations) "was founded after 9/11 because they recognized that some people did something and that all (Muslims) were starting to lose access to our civil liberties."
Some people did...something?!
Words fail us - and the most appropriate words aren't even fit to put on this page. Which is why we created the cartoon above to, hopefully, make our sentiments tastefully but abundantly clear.
Stellar .....or something !
ReplyDeleteOn Julian Assange. One count? Now, who remembers Daniel Ellsberg and the Pentagon Papers? Vince Foster? I heard an interview with the guy that found him (probably at room temperature now) and his recollections were really different from the official report. Of course with this major figure, no autopsy as in Judge Scalia. You see a pattern here?
ReplyDeleteAssange: One can only hope for the most extraordinary of renditions, followed closely by rendering.
ReplyDeleteShrillary: Apart from the fact that this should have happened two years ago, I approve.
Omar: What's it called when a jackass rides a donkey?
Hmmm... Let's see who has serious "health issues" right now. Last time I looked the 'beast had one foot in the grave and another on a banana peel. It would not surprise me if she went flat line right before the "Big Reveal" coming up soon. How convenient that would be to the well-being of the many players and perps involved in this cheap political potboiler. I'll bet they're all lining up to pee on her coffin and salt the burial ground. Must run to store as I'm getting low on Shiner Bock and DiGiorno's.....
ReplyDeleteStilt, one of your best ones ever.
ReplyDeleteOn fire!
He may "sing" and he may not. Perhaps in the interests of getting definitive evidence of the origins of the two year waste of time chasing Russian ghosts, it might be interesting to see what he knows. But otherwise, he's done, old news, passed by, supernauated. Prosecuting him would be yet another sideshow/distraction which could only benefit the democrats, and clothe him with the aura of a martyr.
ReplyDeleteAs for the most vike, venal, bitter clinging deplorable and pathological serial liar, who could have been POTUS..😱😱😱, in 15 years or so, it'll be interesting to see how history has judged this foul, hate consumed creature.
Just to throw this out there, let's say the most vile, venal, bitter clinging deplorable and pathological serial liar, who could have been POTUS is indeed the source of the attempted coup d'etat (and other things), what punishment would fit the crime(s)?
ReplyDeleteShould she be tied to a tumbrel, and led to Capital Hill via Constitution Avenue with the crowd throwing rotten cabbage (a waste of cabbage IMHO) at her? I'll admit a visual of her slopping out the toilets at some Club Fed facility brings many inner grins, but really, is there anything truly fitting the evil she may be responsible for?
Perhaps like Assange, the best is to let history swallow her up and forget her.
It will be interesting to see what kind of memorial the Left will attempt to build when Hillary finally departs this world and goes to Hell. Talk about Trump's difficulties with the building a border wall?... They haven't seen anything yet. Also, a reminder about the wall:
ReplyDeleteArticle IV of the U.S. Constitution (State Relations); Sections 4; Just one sentence: The United States SHALL guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and SHALL protect each of them against invasion; and on Application of the Legislature, or of the EXECUTIVE (when the Legislature cannot be convened) against domestic Violence.
Assange: I hope he stays out of Fort Marcy Park.., don’t need him getting all suicidal and giving himself a round of ‘double-taps’ to the back of his head, before he spills the beans on hildabeast..
ReplyDeleteAnd love the Grail reference to the cart..”Help, Help.., come see the violence inherit in the system..Bloody peasant..”
Thanks Stil.. Pissed Off Old Guy
Correct me if I'm wrong, but is not the only thing that Assange is guilty of is publishing classified info leaked to him from Bradley I feel so pretty Manning? Seems to me most any journalist would have done the same, and since Øbama pardoned Manning for actually stealing the documents, does that not just make Assange a scapegoat for the egg on my face D.C. crowd?
ReplyDeleteI believe that Assange will not live long enough to testify at all.
ReplyDeleteHe has caught a fatal case of 'cross the Clintons and you die' and there is no cure.
Something will happen. An accident of some sort.
It may be bizarre.
It will probably be incredible.
It will be totally improbable.
Yet, it will happen. No one who has crossed the Clintons has survived for very long.
I can't help but wonder if Assange has all the info stored in the cloud and on a timer waiting to be released to the masses. Now, that would be a fun day in hell. "We have the technology".
ReplyDeleteOmar: What's it called when a jackass rides a donkey?
ReplyDeleteSharia Law!
Stilton, absolutely fantastic post today. So many topics, so many salient comments. I would like to note that CAIR was actually founded in 1994, long before "some people" organized and committed an atrocious and barbarous act of terrorism upon our country due to "some ideology". I say send Ilhan Omar to the glue factory along with the horse she rode in on. On second thought, just send her, I have nothing against the poor equus.
ReplyDeleteI had not contemplated the timing of the arrest of Assange although I did think it was peculiar timing. I suppose any timing would be odd since he has been living at an embassy for 7 years.
ReplyDeleteRich's parents live nearby and they aren't happy about all the speculation about their son. It would be tough to have his name brought up all the time, especially with the haters out there.
The revelation on Vince Foster isn't new, although odd that the Enemedia (TM) actually published Starr's comments. I've thought that the argument in that meeting was part of the setup for his Arkancide. There are several books/essays that detail the circumstances around his death; not one of them believed it was a suicide.
Great column today!!!
Julian Assange: The Kato Kaelin of the Ecuadoran embassy.
ReplyDeleteHe has caught a fatal case of 'cross the Clintons and you die' and there is no cure.
ReplyDeleteSomething will happen. An accident of some sort.
Followed by "no autopsy" and "cremation at the family's request".
Nice that Ken Starr sought to preserve Hillary's tender feelings while letting Vince Foster's family ride.
Great post today, and the comments have been particularly pointed/amusing. Terry says it perfectly. gud day sir
ReplyDeleteIf there is any aspect of the Trump era that any conservative has to love, it's the boomerang effect that seems to consistently take place with any Progressive attempt to destroy him. This became evident 3 years ago when it turned out that any attack made against him in the 2016 campaign could just as easily or even more relevantly be applied to Hillary Clinton. He's a misogynistic pig! But any more so than Bill Clinton? His charitable foundation is sketchy! But any more so than the Clinton Foundation? He's a fascist! Any more so than Hillary Clinton?
ReplyDeleteSo now that $40-millionish Mueller investigation which has fueled Progressive hopes and dreams for the last 2+ years has come up absolutely empty, it now is boomeranging back at Democrats with the questions of "Where did this 'collusion' nonsense come from?" and "Why did our nation's top intelligence and law enforcement officers and agencies fall for it?" and "To what degree was their ultimate supervisor, President Barack Obama involved", and "How is any of this not worse than Watergate?"
The stupid part is that we already know the answers; The Democrats and Clinton campaign hired a sketchy opposition research firm to hire a sketchy law firm to hire a sketchy former British secret service operative to hire some sketchy Russians to assemble a sketchy dossier that was eventually leaked to various congresspeople, USA Today, and finally delivered to a FISA judge to open an investigation exclusively managed by Democrats to spy on the opposition. And when the unimaginable happened, (Hillary losing) it all transformed from a spy operation to a coverup operation.
So now this is all coming back at the Democrats, where it all started.
As for Assange, I'm not really sure how he's ultimately going to play into this. IMHO, I think he's lost it, not that I'm all that certain he ever really had it. His former hosts lost all patience with his presence, not that I'm so sure that I would retain my sanity given the conditions that he ensconced himself within for the last 7 years. There's no doubt that whatever he says regarding the real "collusion", Democrats, who used to cheer this guy when he was a thorn in Bush's side will simply declare him the nutcase he likely is.
From Black Holes to Starr: Not sure what we've really learned here that's new. That the only thing more dangerous than being an enemy of a Clinton is being the friend of one? We've known that for over a quarter century now.
"Some people": So Trump and the grand white supremacist conspiracy is responsible for anything and everything including 50 deaths at a mosque in New Zealand (by an avowed eco-fascist fan of Chinese communists), but 9/11 was "some people" who thought it would be cool to hijack some airliners, take out several iconic American landmarks and kill over 3000 people.
"Some people", indeed.
my hope for the last couple of years had been to see Hildebeast in orange prison garb. The additional joy of seeing her cleaning the inmate toilet facility would be a dividend.
ReplyDeleteGo Barr!
Isn't it funny that on Monday, The International Monetary Fund on Monday approved a $4.2-billion, three-year loan for Ecuador, part of a broader aid package to help support the government’s economic reform program.
ReplyDeleteI guess Assange was part of the collateral...
The people who orchestrated the coup against Trump, including Hillary and The Messiah, must be brought to justice in one way or another. They should not be able to skate retribution as they always have in the past. What they did was not only an affront to the president but also to all Americans who deserve better from the people we entrust with unbelievable power. They must be punished for us to continue to trust that our government is unbiased and the law is administered equally no matter which political party is involved. Right now, it's not very trustworthy.
ReplyDeleteI heard that the new Ecuadorian President revoked his sanctuary status amid huge outcries from the former President. If mobama pardoned Eli(?) Manning (I will never call him by his new name), Trump should pardon Assange. Same crime why not the same pardon?
ReplyDeletePardoning Manning was wrong (although Manning's back in jail for the time being - I don't remember why). Pardoning Assange would also be wrong. Two wrongs don't make a right.
ReplyDeleteI think Assange should take out a life insurance policy on himself, preferably one that doesn't exclude suicide if such a thing exists.
ReplyDeleteWhen the hell is Trump going to go on the offensive? Are we finally seeing the opening moves? I sure as hell hope so. Draining the swamp is great rhetoric, but if it's just words, we might as well have a RINO in there.
ReplyDelete@ miniskunk: Are there insurance policies that cover Arkancide?
@Drypowda- I thought you were doing the Marlon Brando line from "Streetcar Named Desire."
ReplyDelete@james daily- I'm not much of a conspiracy guy, but Foster's "suicide" stinks on ice. I don't believe it.
@M. Mitchell Marmel- I want justice for Assange, but I'll admit that it's increasing confusing just what that consists of.
@Regnad Kcin- I don't often think of You Know Who being in harm's way (it's usually the other way around), but if enough of her criminal compatriots decide that they need to tidy things up, well, who knows...?
@Terry G- Thank you! It always helps when I have some actual passion about the topics.
@Fish Out of Water- I'm really only interested in Assange to the degree that he might shed light on the attempted coup. As far as appropriate punishment for Hillary IF she's found guilty of crimes, it's hard to say. Though permanent latrine duty at Guantanamo has a certain appeal.
@Rod- When Hillary eventually shuffles off this mortal coil, I like the idea of building a memorial wall for her that stretches the length of our southern border. As far as your Constitutional quote goes, you're absolutely right. Too bad the Constitution doesn't carry much weight these days.
@Pissed Off Old Guy- I've seen articles about Assange's "mental instability." I wonder if that's prelude to his upcoming "suicide?" And I'm glad you liked the Holy Grail reference. Definitely one of my favorite films!
@Geoff King- I think that's the argument Assange's defenders are trying to make, and they may have a point. Additionally, if we've established that it's no big deal for a Secretary of State to put classified documents on a secret, unsecured server - AND have her assistant email copies of those documents to Anthony Weiner's porn laptop - then how can we pretend to be upset when such documents get out to the public?
@Glenda T Goode- I, too, feel like Assange is living on borrowed time. I hope we're both wrong.
@Fred Ciampi- It will be interesting to see if Assange has created a failsafe mechanism like you describe. We should know soon.
@Fritzchen- In this case, the jackass is indeed riding the Democratic donkey.
@TrickyRicky- Fine points! And can someone show me the Muslim holocaust that took place in post 9/11 America? I'm sure it must have been in all the papers, but somehow I missed it. Unlike the abundance of stories about the need for us to kiss their asses ever since that terror attack.
@RDB- I've just got a feeling about the Assange arrest. Hard to put my finger on, but I think it's important and related to the anti-Trump conspiracy that reached all the way to the top of the Obama administration. And I'm sorry for Seth Rich's parents; no one should have to go through this pain. But I do want justice for Seth, whatever it takes. Finally, it's hard for me to believe that anyone who actually looks into the Vince Foster case will buy the official story. I sure as Hell don't.
@M. Mitchell Marmel- What a wonderful analogy!
Two things:
ReplyDelete1) Vince Foster was shot with a different caliber gun than what was found (later) at the scene. Convenient?
2) A number of forensic computer experts have stated that the files 'stolen' from the DNC were downloaded internally, not hacked externally.
.
NSF
@Walter L. Stafford- I don't want to count my chickens before they're hatcheted, but I'm certainly hoping to see Karmic justice finally - FINALLY - be served.
ReplyDelete@rickn8or- No autopsy and quick cremation? You mean like Secretary of Commerce Ron Brown, who was about to roll on the Clintons and ended up dead from a gunshot wound in a plane crash? A plane crash caused by a failure in a radio beacon, and the sudden suicide of the man in charge of the beacon? Just asking...
And Ken Starr didn't protect Hillary's feelings because, after his investigation, he would know that she had none. Rather, he protected her from public embarrassment, which could have been hazardous to his health.
@Dave- Some days, it all just clicks. And those are the days that makes all of this worthwhile.
@John the Econ- Spot on, sir!
@hrm- That's my dream, too. Please, please, please....
@Anonymous- Wow, you sure are cynical! Actually, great catch. In this case, I don't believe in coincidences.
@Shelly- If criminal charges are brought up against Obama, Hillary, Comey, Clapper and the rest of conspirators, it will rip this country in two. To which I say, "bring it on." A strong message needs to be sent that "this sh*t is not allowed." If that doesn't happen, then why should us ever trust our institutions of "justice" again?
@udaman- I agree. If Manning was pardoned, then Assange shouldn't be facing serious charges.
@Dan- Agreed.
@miniskunk- He should make that insurance policy a Kickstarter project, with participants splitting the proceeds. I'd be in for $100 immediately!
@dk99- I agree that we haven't seen the aggressive assault on the swamp that I was hoping Trump would deliver. If this is the start, it's overdue but extremely welcome.
@NSF- There's a long laundry list of things about Vince Foster's death that don't add up to suicide. And on your second point, you're right that the information transfer speed strongly suggests that the data was downloaded to a thumbdrive directly from a computer at the DNC, rather than from an outside hack using an Internet connection. Not that the media want to talk about it.
Good that Assange has finally been shown the Ecua-Door.

May God protect Julian Assange. Because it sure a hell looks like Trump isn't going to.
ReplyDeleteUh, no Stilton, I was referring to a certain Supreme Court Justice that died on a hunting trip.
ReplyDeleteIIRC (as always, I reserve the right to be mis-informed) Obummer didn't "pardon" manning, he commuted the sentence. IE, s/he's still a convicted felon, just got out of prison early. Currently locked up 'in contempt' - possibly for refusing to roll over on Assange?
ReplyDeleteAssange, who is guilty not only of publishing classified info, but conspiring w/ Manning to hack the password that gave Maning access in the first place.
Agreed, the timing of Assange's release seems awfully convenient, but apparently there's new people in change in Ecuador, and Assange was being a total d-bag of a house guest. Which, if you've spent the past 7+ years in a medium sized office is understandable, perhaps.
Agreed, very interesting to see how all this falls out. I wonder if we'll ever see in the MSM that Bill and Hill had similar tastes in young girls on Pedo Island? (don't recall where I heard that, but it's out there. Maybe too far out there...)
Heh - not too hard to find.. .
https://www.truthrevolt.org/news/shock-claim-hillary-visited-pedophile-jeffrey-epsteins-sex-island-6-times
@Pete (Detroit)
ReplyDeleteI kinda figured the Clinton visits to Pedo Island were, at least in part, for infusion of young blood. That's supposed to help with longevity from what I've read. And then there's the adrenochrome.
Whatever, it's gross.
Dan, so Hillary is the modern-day Elizabeth Bathory?
ReplyDeleteThe Deep State is so religious they are going to sacrifice a Truth Teller for the Easter holidays just like their ancestors did about 2000 years ago.
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteI continually hope Trump is waiting until his second term when he no longer has to worry about reelection to drop the hammer on the Clinton mafia and those they have corrupted. I pray Assange was picked up by the good guys to finally connect Hillary to the murder of the DNC go-between. After straightening up the economy, regaining the trust of the world, etc. I hope Trump's second term gift to the country is jail time or worse for those who would attempt to unseat a duly-elected president of the United States. And, like so many others I pray for him and his family as well as for whoever follows him in this most difficult of positions.
ReplyDeleteHere is where truth becomes stranger than fiction. From today's Yahoo "News":
ReplyDeleteFrance Launches Global Contest to Replace Notre-Dame Spire
France on Wednesday announced it would invite architects from around the world to submit designs for replacing the spire of Notre-Dame cathedral after a devastating blaze, as the government braced for a mammoth restoration challenge.
Prime Minister Edouard Philippe said the contest would decide whether the monument should have a new spire at all and if so, whether it should be identical to the fallen 19th-century model or be a wholly new design.
The world looked on in horror Monday as flames engulfed the 850-year-old gothic masterpiece seen as encapsulating the soul of Paris and the spire came crashing down.
Explaining that having no new spire at all was an option, Philippe noted that Notre-Dame had been without a steeple for part of its history.
"The international contest will settle the question of whether we should build a new spire, whether we should rebuild the spire that was designed and built by (Eugene) Viollet-Le-Duc, in identical fashion, or whether we should... endow Notre-Dame cathedral with a new spire adapted to the techniques and the challenges of our era."
IN OTHER WORDS, A MINARET!! You nailed it, Stilt.
Doesn't the Catholic church have a say in how the cathedral is rebuilt? Is it or is it not private property? Just askin'.
