Biden's homage to "The King's Speech" |
While this kind of candor might not make for smart politics, we frankly found it refreshing and wish that more Democrats would open every pronouncement with "Hell, yes!" before saying exactly what they really mean.
"Hell yes, we're going to keep killing babies!"
"Hell yes, we're against the Bill of Rights!"
"Hell yes, we're going to punish white people!"
"Hell yes, we're going to destroy the middle class!"
"Hell yes, we're coming for your retirement savings!"
"Hell yes, we're trying to flood the country with illegals!"
"Hell yes, we want to encourage voter fraud!"
"Hell yes, we're an incestuous bunch of clueless, sociopathic idiots!"
Okay, they're unlikely to ever admit that last one, but it's pretty much implied.
BONUS: HE'LL CURSE THAT BRIDGE WHEN HE GETS TO IT
Of no great importance but considerable amusement value, it's worth noting that one of the odder moments in Joe "I'm Not Going Crazy" Biden's debate performance occurred when it appeared that his dentures (if they are dentures) had come loose.
While listening to a question, Biden can be seen trying to rearrange things inside his closed mouth using his tongue, puffing out his cheek, and making "nom, nom, nom" chewing motions - before finally opening his mouth to reveal gleaming choppers displayed so aggressively that they'd even give Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez's dentist nightmares.
Then again, maybe Uncle Joe had just finished a tasty piece of saltwater taffy and was caught off guard while he was trying to choke down the wax paper.
LATE BREAKING BONUS: CEREAL KILLERS
Here's Joe telling the story in 2017. Presumably, he's two years less lucid now...
The only logical response to any of these Democrats is "Hell, no!"
ReplyDeleteGiven Biden's comments, I can only presume Busty Ross was in the front row!
ReplyDeleteBeeto (he apparently hates that) is the only one of that lot to stupidly speak the truth. Chris Coons (D-CT) said that comment will be played in Republican campaign ads for quite some time. Another truth!
Besides being hell-bent on ripping up the 2nd amendment (and if the democrats can do that, what stands in their way in ripping up the other amendments?) the democrats and their running dog abettors in the legacy media are making another coup attempt to unseat Justice Kavanaugh. The local NBC affiliate ran this as one of their lead stories this morning.
ReplyDeleteWhat grinds the gears is the inability, the gullibility of a great deal of the general population not seeing this is a not crusading jouranalism, but planned, coordinated, orchestrated political and paid for coup attempt which if ever successful has very dire consequences for this republic. I only wish that the same effort in trying to oust a sitting SCOTUS justice be made in drawing the curtain back to expose these enemies of our republic.
On the other hand, this latest is a backhanded admission of how these neo-totalitarians fear losing SCOTUS.
Part 1 today gets right to it. My thought went immediately to the quote primarily attributed to Chief Joseph, "It does not require many words to speak the truth."
ReplyDeleteI think they're all trying to see who can be more like Stalin ... or Hitler ... Or Mao ... or Pol Pot ... oh you get the picture. And, I think that all of them are unaware of just how many of us patriots are waiting, patiently, armed, trained, and freedom loving. 'Nuff said.
ReplyDeleteBeto Nut actually said that he thinks people will just willingly turn in their firearms because...he'll ask them to? He must have missed the response in Connecticut when that state passed a law requiring registering semi-automatic rifles. Uhh....no. Nope. Nada. Not even.
ReplyDeleteHere's something to think about - From My Cold Dead Hands -
MOLON LABE!
"Batshit Crazy" seems so sadly inadequate nowadays...
ReplyDelete
ReplyDeleteThe dems have gone full monty on a lack of respect of constitution, rights and inalienable rights. Remember they have foisted this sort of Robbin Hood redistribution while trampling the rights of everyone for over a 150 years.
Unfortunately the once champion of the rights of mankind, the GOP, largely gave way to banksters, big business, and war-industry types at first, and then the deep state types & shadow government types more recently.
This has let the dems play so loose with yours & my rights.
Stacking the board with the GOP divided among itself in at least three factions, RINOs (the Benedict Arnold Quisling "Republicans In Name Only" scoundrels), The controlled-GOP faction run by the banksters & deep state swamp creatures, and only a small segment of remaining constitutionals at least acknowledging that we even have a constitution has really fired the engines of dems who EVER American in normal times would recognize for what they are.
The dems also seem to have the "Appeal to One's Reptile Fears" down pat, playing a seriously misinformed and cognitively disinterested public rather well. (One's Reptile level is the lower portion of our intellect where if we "sense" (real or imagined BTW) a threat we are compelled to react. The same area where we get "flight or fight" also makes us vulnerable to emotively responding to a perceived fear even if facts or our own reasoned calculations say otherwise. Enough of us will respond to a Reptile Appeal to skew aggregate results.)
One wonders if people feel flattered having the "fear" shared with them, even if they know they are being played?
Old Joe's cud-chewing teeth moment did remind one that he is truly often an old bovine, acted like one during his second in command period, and the citizenry would get the same cud-chewing ineffectiveness in voted in. One wonders how the dems could really get behind a fossil like Joe?
Joe in his geriatric stupor lacks Beeto O'Dork's energy to proclaim the dems world view that inalienable in inalienable rights means nothing to this godless communist dem party.
They think that THEY have the prerogative to strip us of our natural born rights?
Bluntly "how dare they?!"
We live in interesting times!
Remember that Bobby Frank O'Rourke is only enunciating what resides in the belly of ALL these regressive, commie authoritarian thugs. They hate our country, our individuality, our success on the world stage, and each of us as individuals. Once this is understood, everything else falls into place.
ReplyDeleteI think we're missing the point here. They don't necessarily hate America, they pander to those who do and we're programmed to hate
DeleteI believe the candidates are seeking position and power to benefit themselves financially.
Prove me wrong.
"These are the times that try men's souls." I can't understand how one of the top 3 of these morons has a possibility of running against our president. The electorate in this nation has collectively reduced itself to something as smart as cat shit. The public school system has had free reign for the last 50 years and has done it's master's bidding. We are now as close to losing this republic as we have ever been. In the darkest days at the start of WWII, we were not as in peril as we are now. Keep your powder dry.
ReplyDeletePogo had it right: "We have met the enemy, and he is us."
ReplyDeletePerhaps to defend those rights we were provided by the founding, it requires those same "pioneer virtues" possessed by the founders: Courage, to abandon what other polities and philosophies assure us is true ("fifty million Frenchmen can't be wrong"); self-reliance and sacrifice, to achieve valid goals; faith, to know which goals are worthy of the effort; and determination, the conviction that right is right, despite what howling hordes may try to portray as our goals.
We need those virtues as much as we need guns to defend our republic.
Sometimes you just have to laugh. I followed the link in bonus part 3 and you know it's mostly BS; but that was good story. It was historical, interesting, human interest, funny, with lot of detail The crowd wasn't very interested but I was. The moral seems to be he was an idiot even then and didn't think much of police... but he had a good maintenance man.
ReplyDeleteI feel better because when he drop out or loses this election he still has a viable future as a story teller following the likes of Justin Wilson. [grinning].

Biden's teeth reveal that they have been restored with full crowns...not a denture. His crowns appear to be a bit long, but it could be the result of gum recession prior to having the crowns placed. Such recession leaves the root surface denuded of gingival ("gum") tissue, and for the sake of esthetics, it is often wise to consider to hide the discolored root surfaces by creating porcelain crowns or veneers that are longer than the length of enamel on the original unrestored teeth.
Note that the shade of the porcelain appears to be constant, with no shading to break up the "chiclet" appearance, plus the teeth are rather square, also contributing to the "chiclet" look. Some patients insist on having the Las Vegas/Hollywood look, however, by having the tooth shade as white as possible. This appearance might fit with young patients whose tooth shades are usually at the light end of the shade spectrum, but as people age, their teeth tend to darken, and shades that are too light do not look natural. Biden fits into this group.
After seeing photos of Biden's appearance over the years, it appears that crowns or veneers were first placed on the six anterior teeth only, followed up by crowns being placed later on the four upper bicuspid teeth. This is good practice, since the unrestored bicuspid teeth can often show a "break" in the shade if the patient shows the bicuspids when smiling.
I could be wrong, but from Biden's photos I saw on the internet, Biden is not wearing an upper denture. I am a retired dentist with 35 years' practice experience and have taught at two dental schools.
This reminds me of a recent Babylon Bee post:
ReplyDeleteTrump 2020 Campaign To Simply Air Unedited Footage Of Democrats Talking
Seriously, the recent debates and that absurd "climate change" non-debate should be reported as in-kind donations to the Trump 2020 campaign.
As I've said before, the most refreshing aspect of the Trump era is the sudden transparency in the leftist agenda that leaves little to the imagination as to where they wish to go. In barely a year they've blasted past the "Oh, no, we don't want to seize your guns; we only want 'common sense' gun control" to the "Hell yes" admission. It really isn't possible to argue that the Democrats will stop with the AR-15 or "assault weapons". With inertia, they'll gladly push on to "semi-automatic", which is 80% of the remaining guns out there until they finally end up at "pointy objects", just as the British have.
Biden: Believe me, it's not just his dentures that are rattling around in his head.
So, Dr. Bedoya, your point here is that Uncle Joe is a little "long in the tooth"?
ReplyDeleteThe Dems are launching a full on attack on the Bill of Rights, not just the 2nd one, either. They hate 'em all because they were designed to protect us from.... them!
ReplyDeleteI really believe sanity will prevail; for now anyway. In another 20 years, who knows, so let's beat the truth into our children's and grand-children's heads. Let me rephrase that... let's teach them how to use a bullshit filter and how to research the crap they read on Facebook and Twitter, and to not take anything at face value.
Regarding Beatoff O'Dork, he's a fart in the breeze. Stinks like shit for a minute, then it's gone.
Regarding Joe Boy Biden... I'm guessing he suddenly re-discovered his tongue and was just trying to figure out what it was for.
Just to force them even more over the edge.. I like to remind wanna-be firearms confiscating libs of a couple of things about firearms; strictly hunting and sports firearms:
ReplyDeleteMuzzle data for projectiles out of just about all firearms is pretty much identical to that of assault-type firearms. Low cost or high grade, old or new; clean or dirty as long as it fires; bought, inherited, found, gifted... you do not want to be in front of it
One does not need an automatic nor high capacity magazine when they can hit targets from hundreds of yards out.
An inexpensive hunting-type pump action long gun or rifle can be accurately fired AND the usually 5 or 6 capacity magazine (plugged to 3 when hunting but screw that at any other time) can be kept near-full at all times with one of more boxes of ammo in pouches on the belt.
You may want to check the estimated numbers of firearms out there that are being held by a LOT of people who clearly know more about them than you. Hint: Many millions
And please DO keep shooing your mouths off about all this. It could be helpful.
@Fish Out of Water & @Colby Muenster, there's little question about it. The rest of the Bill of Rights will quickly fall after the 1st & 2nd are vanquished.
ReplyDeleteAs I've said previously, the smarter Progressives know that once the middle class is stripped of their possessions and wealth and has nothing left to lose, they will certainly revolt. An armed middle class with nothing left to lose would would be bad news for the elite. If the Progressive elite wish to retain any semblance of order, they'll need the middle classe disarmed and under the thumb of both the state and the criminal class.
And the 1st Amendment is already faltering. Have you been paying attention to the latest antics from the New York Times?
New York Times apologizes for ‘inappropriate and offensive’ tweet about Kavanaugh sexual misconduct allegation
This isn't even National Enquirer level behavior.
Speaking of "Fake News": I came across this over the weekend leading a totally phony and untrue story about "climate change":
The Climate Crisis Is Poised to Make Huge Swaths of America Totally Uninsurable
The first paragraph is this:
This story is part of Covering Climate Now, a global collaboration of more than 220 news outlets to strengthen coverage of the climate story.
Translation: This is not "independent journalism". It is the designated consensus narrative of more than 220 news outlets to enforce the climate change narrative.
Kinda contrary to the notion of a "free" press. What is the difference between an official state organ like the Soviet era Pravda and a lockstep media that exclusively delivers the statist message?
Good stuff today Stilt. An Indian giver, an ex-burglar that wants you to give up your home defense weapons, a senile old never was who has no clue what he is saying and lies because to him it is the truth. Nevermind that he thinks he is still Vice President. No, I did not forget our old socialist that for a democrat is semi truthful.
ReplyDeleteI think even the demorats are scared to death of Biden. Warren is scaring the voters with her insane proposals that are so stupid even the crazies are giving the Indian giver the fish eye.
You like the totem poll, I like the 10' poll. Both have their purpose.
@John: Indeed. With perhaps the exception of Mao, it's not been the poor, downtrodden and oppressed who have successfully revolted, its when the middle class gets pissed off when revolutions happen.
ReplyDelete@Mike aka Proof- I couldn't possibly agree more.
ReplyDelete@Jim Irre- I was annoyed this morning to discover that Beto had a rally here in my home town (Plano, TX) yesterday. Had I known, Mrs. J and I would have attended so we could be annoying. From pictures, it looks like his "rally" was about 100 people or so. And it doesn't sound like Beto is being quite as forthcoming now: he's saying that people will give up their guns voluntarily, and that those who don't would "get a fine." Methinks he's gotten spanked by the DNC.
@Fish Out of Water- The Kavanaugh/NYT thing is making my head explode. They treated it as a big story - causing every major news outlet and Democrat to call for Kavanaugh's impeachment - and it turns out (surprise!) that there was nothing to the story at all. All lies, top to bottom. Bastards.
@Rod- Chief Joseph knew what he was talking about.
@Fred Ciampi- Well said.
@Snark- There's no way in Hell that people will just hand over all their guns. And at the point someone like Beto sends armed enforcers to take those guns, it's going to get ugly.
@M. Mitchell Marmel- You're right that it just doesn't have the necessary scope anymore.
@Rastapopoulos- Excellent comments! You've really distilled what's playing out before our eyes.
@TrickyRicky- Exactly. Every last one of those a**holes has dictatorial fantasies that they're trying (in some cases barely trying) to hide.
@Sortahwitte- It's scary, alright. I believe we're living in post-logical times, in which a large portion of the electorate operates entirely on feelings rather than anything like analytical thought.
@Pat Cummings- Beautifully put! And, as always, bonus points for any reference to Pogo.
@Rod- I have to concede that Uncle Joe's story was interesting, even if I wasn't buying it. By the way, so far I've been unable to find any online reference to gangs using "rain barrels" to increase the lethality of their weapons.
@Angus ranch- I think most of the candidates believe they don't hate America, but actually do. You can't push socialism and simultaneously have even a shred of love for this country. As far as also enriching themselves, yeah - I think that's a given.
@Alfonso Bedoya- I bow to your dental expertise and withdraw any speculation about Biden having dentures. Perhaps he was just having an attack of crazy mouth (and not for the first time).
@John the Econ- You're right that if the Dems succeed in taking any guns, they'll soon try to take the rest of them. Exactly none of this is about preventing mass shootings - it's all about politicians who see gun ownership as an impediment to their desired brand of fascism.
@Anonymous- Ding! You rang the bell! Take any prize off the top shelf.
@Colby Muenster- You're correct about the Dems disliking the whole Bill of Rights. And I think teaching kids to have a bullshit filter is critically important now...and sure as heck not something they're going to learn in schools.
ReplyDeleteRegarding Biden's tongue, maybe it was just looking for a woman's ear canal to explore.
@Anonymous- Good points, all. And this is why the Dem agenda isn't really about "just" getting rid of the scary-looking guns. That's just their starting place before going after everything down to a pea shooter.
@John the Econ- There was someone on Fox News (yesterday, I think) who was breathing fire about the way Elizabeth Warren's policies, if enacted, would absolutely decimate the middle class. Because she can talk about taxing the "rich" all she wants, but the kind of money she needs can only come from taxing the hell out of the middle class and likely confiscating retirement accounts.
Good points on the "fake news" stories. I don't believe much in the news these days, and nothing that doesn't come from several sources that I respect. And the NYT ain't one of 'em.
@james daily- I think the Dems are scared having Biden as the frontrunner. At any moment, he's only a gaffe away from being out of the race. Similarly, Warren's radicalism has to scare the Dem strategists who know that her angry socialism simply won't appeal to enough voters. I hope.
@Fish Out of Water- Exactly. Case in point, I've never even wanted an AR-15 until Beto said he would take it from me. But at the point the government wants to send armed troops out to harass (or worse) middle class citizens, I have to think seriously about my family's defense.
If Biteme gets into the White House, will they change the daily walking through it to "Tourettes of the White House"?
ReplyDeleteLately it sounds like his comments are more akin to "1,000 monkeys with 1,000 typewriters" than cogent organized communication.
It continues to amaze me that if I eat a taco or wear a sombrero on Cinco de Mayo, the snowflakes swoon and run to their 'safe' places. But an Irish guy can self name himself 'Beto' and those same snowflakes swoon over his 'woke' condition and his dazzling smile.
ReplyDeleteApparently cultural appropriation only exists for those who aren't 'woke'.
Stilt: As an unabashed DC Comics fan, I wonder how they would have dealt with the current crop of NYT editors and writers? I can imagine one done by Wally Wood, where the corpse of Abe Rosenthal returns to rip their heads off, and when they are discovered we read the words, "Good Lord!" (Choke)! Finally we'd read the final remarks by the Old Witch: "Heh, heh, heh! Good old Abe, he made them straight again!"
ReplyDelete@Stilton: As to Justice Kavanaugh and the latest smear, there are two compelling pieces posted this evening in the online WSJ Opinion section.
ReplyDeleteThe Demo_Rat elites only want to take your guns because they know you should let them tell you how they will permit you to live your life. As with Barack Hussein, all I hear when the Demo_Rats speak is "You need to do what 'I' say because 'I' know what's good for you."
ReplyDeleteThere are only two kinds of people who want socialism: those who think they'll get everything free, and those who think they'll be in charge. Neither kind gets what they expect, usually.
@Bruce Bleu- At this point, I think Biden's brain has a lot in common with a scrambled egg.
ReplyDelete@NVRick- I don't understand that either. Surely it's more offensive for Beto to really try to pass himself off as Hispanic than it is for you or me to wear a big silly hat on Cinco de Mayo. But of course, the rules only apply to the Right.
@Fritzchen- I love it! Although I'll gently suggest that you meant EC comics rather than DC. I love those nasty old bloodcurdling stories...and I'm a huge Wally Wood fan.
@Fish Out of Water- I read the WSJ pieces and they're very good.
@JustaJeepGuy- Good summary of socialism!
@Stilton, imagine if you had gone to Beto's rally; You and Mrs. J. would have represented 2% of the attendees! That's a lot of annoyance potential.
ReplyDeleteBeto's fine: Just how would that work out? My point still stands: People in my neighborhood would get fined while the criminals would get ignored. Standard Progressive War on the Middle Class.
Warren vs the Billionaires: One of the things that most people don't get is that billionaires are no where as rich as people like to think. Oh sure, they're thousands of times wealthier than you or I. But most people we consider 1%ers are largely rich only on paper.
Consider this; Assume that it becomes legally possible for the state to seize the wealth of Jeff Bezos. Jeff Bezos's wealth is almost entirely made of Amazon stock. So now that the government has Jeff's Amazon stock. Now what? Amazon stock in and of itself isn't currency. In order to spend Jeff's wealth, it's gotta be converted into cash.
But what would happen if the government were to suddenly try to sell all of Jeff's Amazon stock? Jeff owns roughly 1/6th of all Amazon shares. What would putting 1/6ths of Amazon on the market due to the share price of Amazon stock? And considering that Jeff's shares will not be the only shares that the government will be trying to liquidate, it's likely to be far more than 1/6th of the company.
Needless to say, the government would likely get but a small fraction of the $1,800 or so per share that Amazon is selling for today. That's assuming that Amazon shares are worth all that much anyway, considering that the government is rutting about the economy seizing everyone else's wealth as well. If the government is taking everyone's stock, who's going to be left liquid enough to buy any, much less be willing to buy anything other than bunkers, food supplies, guns and ammo?
Nope. @Stilton is right. After laying waste to the assets of the rich, the only people left will be the middle class. Remember, it took barely a generation between the passing of the 16th Amendment (authorizing the income tax) that was only supposed to attack the 1%ers until the entire middle class was paying the federal income tax.
Well, EVERYBODY knows that BLACK folks don't like to have chains on them, unless they be rappers.
ReplyDelete
