Trigger Warning

stilton’s place, stilton, political, humor, conservative, cartoons, jokes, hope n’ change, Trump, assassination, Biden, Secret Service, Cheatle

Thank God, Trump is still alive. Sadly, a former fire chief who shielded his family with his own body is not. Nor is the rooftop shooter, who an eyewitness descriptively said had "his head blown off." The killer was identified by his DNA. And further investigation will find a lot of fingerprints on that trigger.

And we already know who those fingerprints belong to - political figures and a mass media that have been tireless in painting Trump as a monster, a dictator, a racist, and a literal, apocalypse-bringing Hitler who needed to be "eliminated" at all costs. When implication wasn't enough of a call to action, many of these people called outright for Trump's assassination. Which is about the only "free speech" the Left really approves of.

Did the shooter believe himself to be a martyred hero who would rid the world of Hitler 2.0? And if he believed that's who Trump is, then every person who fed the lie had a finger on the trigger.

This most certainly includes Joe Biden and those around him. The ladies of The View. Adam Schiff. Joy Reid. Rachel Maddow. Hell, everyone on MSNBC. And hundreds if not thousands more. There was a tacit understanding that for a dementia-ridden Biden to win, Trump had to die. And so the Left's hyperbolic scare-rhetoric was consciously created and constantly repeated in order to find a shooter.

Yet somehow, this screamingly obvious situation was not taken seriously by Kimberly Cheatle, the director of the Secret Service (formerly the security chief for Pepsico, tasked with keeping Cheetos executives safe) who repeatedly denied requests from Trump's protective detail asking for more personnel and support as they were undermanned for the job.  It would be wrong to assert that Cheatle wanted Trump to be assassinated, but it would be ludicrous to suggest she wasn't amenable to the idea.

Although he hesitated to call the shooting an "assassination attempt," Biden has subsequently called for a full and robust investigation to be conducted by all of the alphabet agencies who have previously betrayed Trump, repeatedly lied their asses off to the American people, and participated in the coup to remove him from power in 2020.

At the time of this writing, new details keep coming in - many of them highly disturbing. There is a lot of information still needed for us to really process the gravity of this moment and the influence of the forces that inevitably brought it about - and to inform the actions we should take to insure that those accountable face justice.

  1. Thank God Trump is safe. Hopefully he will now get the protection he needs to continue the fight for this Great Country! And hopefully there will be a REAL investigation into how that could possibly happen!

  3. Read today that ALL of the Secret Service agents there to protect Trump, with one exception, were all noobs.

And that one, the most senior, may have been the one who refused to give the order, when asked, to shoot the sniper before he fired a shot.

The fish rots from the head. Biden's DEI appointed head of the Secret Service, former head of security for...Frito Lay, should resign as well.

  11. I explained this exact thing to my hyper-liberal former friend (we only talked about cats) who responded with a thoughtful, "calm down". She gets her "news" from The View and MSNBC, so she has no idea what's really going on. I think more liberals than we think get their "news" from those high quality sources. I mean, it would explain a LOT!

    Please pray for this country!

  12. Yes, they are really showing their hand on this one. But this failed attempt may also become a great distraction. You know: Never waste a good crisis. They know they may need to prepare for a lot more election cheating now. But this treason will be all we hear about for a long time. The rot is deep.

  14. @DRJim: That will be interesting indeed to see what comes out of that.

Personally, and if the initial news about the shooter carry even a grain of truth, this seems to have been a troubled young man, who never fit in deciding like other assassins to make a name for himself.

@Stiltomn: In your list on whose "fingerprints" are on this crime, you ought to have mentioned Peggy Noonan, who I used to respect, of the WSJ as well. While her TDS bile did not rise to the level of MSNBC et. al. she too has been as Never Trump as anyone

    Exactly my sentiments...

But perhaps some common sense has begun to seep in? You may have as you wrote this Stilton, of a democratic Georgia House member, who introduced a bill to remove all Secret Service protection for Trump, immediately terminating the employment of one of his staffers for a note she posted online, that lamented about not having better aim.

As to going forward, besides this incident catapulting Trump back into the Oval Office, where he should have been in the first place, my hope is this will also serve to obliterate at the polls, the democratic footprint in both Houses of Congress as well.

  16. I wish they had captured the shooter alive. How was he able to get a ladder and climb on top of that building with a gun so close to the Trump rally with some of the people attending calling the police's attention to him and nothing was done until after he carried out his mission? Dead men can't talk and I think that was the plan all along regardless of whether the shooter was successful with his mission or not. Now the FBI is carrying out an investigation!
That's the same FBI that raided Trump's Mar-A-Largo home trying to find something to put Trump in prison. The FBI is corrupted and working for the Democrat party. Thomas Crooks (the shooter) was previously in this Black Rock video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hjmLqoGRqNo&ab_channel=JustinC7H
Was Black Rock involved in this assasination attempt? There's a lot of questions that need answers, but I don't think we'll ever get them.

  17. The Secret Service allowed the shooter to crawl up on a roof 130 yards from the podium.
The SS watched as he set up his long gun.
Then he shot the President and killed an Innocent Dad in the stands.
And the Secret Service LET him make the shot because they were TOLD to let the shot happen.
They were instructed to let the shot happen by Biden's Puppet Master.
TPTB have tried to remove their Political enemies through lies, attacks, civil suits, and Lawfare. They are frustrated that Trump is not only still standing, but Beating them. They have decided to dial it UP a few notches.
No other possible way this happened…

    My sentiments exactly.

Still there are some initial signs of some sanity. Stilton may have as he penned this, missed the news report of a democrat House member, who has called for removing SS protection for Trump, immediately firing one of his staffers for an online post lamenting the shooters lack of aim.

Going forward, besides this incident propelling Trump back into the Oval Office, where he should be now, I hope this will also serve to obliterate at the polls, the democratic footprint in both Houses of Congress.

  20. It’s doubtful that we the people will ever know how a punk with a rifle was able to access his rooftop vantage point and start shooting!!!!
Would the same lack of protection have occurred with Biden or Harris? It’s the SS job to survey all possible danger points and it wasn’t done. But will ever know why ? Probably not.

    Pray for Trump and America.

  21. That a shooter could climb a ladder and position himself with a rifle in line with a former oresident in such a manner calls for an investigation that is honest but will never happen. They killed the shooter they should easily have seen out of incompetence or to prevent commentary. Plain and simple. Its the Oswald effect. That he was 20 made him easily expendible and whether anyone can me directly connected to him or not, the hate created by known sources for TV ratings should cost jobs and reputations. We were 1/2 inch from the potential critical division of the country and there are people who should be held accountable. Never doubt the response that would occur if it had been someone from the left that had beed attacked in such a vile and cowardly manner. Its time the people know what really happened.

  33. Unfortunately my forecast that the left would attempt a "Dealey Plaza" event stated many times in the last couple months came true. Fortunately the shooters shot was off target by about 2 inches. Last week there was a news story about a chief constable in Oil City, PA who posted quite a few comments on his social media sites promoting assassination of Trump and the murder of Trump supporters including members of his own family in a positive light. A few days before that G.D. biden also used the phrase that it was time to put a "bullseye" on Trump.

My conspiracy theory which I would not be surprised if it turned into conspiracy fact is that this was a planned event. The shooter had to be eliminated before he could spill the beans on his handlers. As usual the useful tools needed to be disposed of when their use to the left ended.

The only question in my mind is if the left will stop with only this attempt, or will there be more?

    ReplyDelete
  34. Great post and comments today; a lot of things brought up here that I'd not considered before. Trump requested more security. Bobby Kennedy requested security period. Betting other candidates do not have security either. Sad but true, the Secret Service has now been politicized, compromised and maybe even weaponized.

I thank God that He protected Prez Trump, and may He continue! I also pray that, when Trump assumes office in January, he will clean house with a BIG broom.

  35. And this is where the Internet gets fun, full of hyperlinks to high-profile TDS-suffering Progressives calling for something to be done at all costs because Trump is the new Hitler.

And it seems that the cost will be what was left of Biden's hopes for re-election.

I heard a rumor that BSNBC, your one-stop-shop for round-the-clock TDS propaganda curtailed some of its programming this morning. A time for self-reflection or a panicked drum circle for a new narrative? Because that picture with the blood on Trump's face and a raised fist just cost sleepy joe another 5 points.

And let's not overlook one of the greatest successes of the Biden Administration: The total destruction of competency in every single government agency. The Secret Service is now a clown show, soon to be investigated by the FBI, which has been a clown show since Obama. How was a guy with a rifle able to get to the high grown within 150 yards largely undetected? Probably missed by agents who were blinded when Biden used to swim naked in front of him as VP.

    ReplyDelete
  36. It gets even better...

Trump had less security than usual because the SS were pulled to go to jill bye-then's coincidental event in PA.

Only one agent was from his regular contingent, the rest were all 'replacements' some of whom weren't even on protective details as can be seen by their piss poor performance and general bumbling around, one girl couldn't even get her sidearm back in the holster and eventually just gave up and held it under her jacket.

There was only one counter-sniper team, that apparently had only been authorized the day before, there should have been at least three for an event that size but everyone was sent to cover the 'Dr'.

The team was ready to fire at the sniper for several minutes, but were reportedly refused clearance to fire until after he'd shot at Trump.

It almost seems that some people were referencing it before it happened...

If he hadn't turned his head at very literally the last second then the 'journalists' would be jerking off at the sight of Trump's head spalshed over the stage in 4K HD from various angles.

That put a kink on the plans of the puppetmasters who had in all likelihood decided to have bye-then meet the same end as a 'retaliation' to kill two birds with one stone, maybe three if kameltoe was onstage with him.
It's still not too late for them to have that 'retaliation' and then another 'retaliation' againsst Trupm to settle that score and if I can think of it then you know they already did long ago.

Just one thing to think about though...

  38. A quick look at X (Twitter) will reveal the absolute depravity of these evil people. There are Marxist minions in agony over the fact that the shot missed killing him. Their hate, which has been stirred up for nine years against this man, has made them inhuman. They wanted to see his head blown off to satisfy their blood lust of hatred. They have no clue the chaos and international crisis this would have caused and if they did, don't give a shit. I truly cannot hate the Marxist Democrats and their brainwashed, braindead minions more than I do. If this is an inflection point, and I pray desperately it is, there are a lot of people, from the top down, who should rot in prison for what they've done to destroy our country. As far as sorting out what is conspiracy and what is not, it is apparent the SS did not do its only job. It appears DEI could be in play here and if so, this should be the death knell for that destructive policy.

    ReplyDelete

  39. One point needs mentioning: the head of the SS (ironic name?) was supposedly an SS employee for 27 years. She was not an agent, or so I gather. She was never on the Presidential Protection detail, but she most definitely IS a D(idn't) E(arn) I(t) hire. Who cares if she's competent at the job?? She has a vagina and as a bonus, she was even born with it! She wants 30% of SS agents to be women and there's nothing more important than that!

The lawman who was going up on the roof to check on the shooter supposedly didn't know Crooks had a rifle. How can that be? The witnesses who saw Crooks on the roof told some lawmen that he was a) ON THE ROOF and b) HAD A RIFLE. I have to wonder how much of the "event" was planned and how much was the usual mix of good and bad luck. Who was the SS boss who wouldn't let the police sniper take the shot? Who was the chunky female SS agent? Why was she permitted to be on a Presidential Protection detail?? How low are the standards for that job now?

    Jesus H., how I loathe the Demo_Rats!!!

  42. Since my previous post, I have seen that it is possible that the DEI SS head may actually have been on Gropey Joe's protection detail. It may be so; I don't know for sure yet. Either way, her whole purpose is to feminize the SS. If Gropey Joe were to be shot at, I'll bet he wouldn't want those short little female agents there to "protect" him.

IMO USA is near a tipping-point for fixing this long-term decline. The most significant break-over point was late 2008 and specifically 20 January 2009. We're still dealing with that.

    ReplyDelete
  51. @Rod, the tipping point was the moment when over 50% of Americans started receiving some form of remuneration or special privileges from the government. I can't say exactly when that happened, but around 2008 is as good a guess as any.

    ReplyDelete

  52. @Rod and @John, I agree with you both on when and why, but I have to wonder if the brains behind the process ever thought about what will happen when they don't have the money to buy off the dependents any more. Are TPTB expecting the dependents to riot and kill each other off so that TPTB have a smaller population with which to deal? I'm not evil enough to contemplate the desired final outcome.

Also, do TPTB expect to be safe from the chaos? I don't think they've thought it all the way through.

    ReplyDelete
  53. @Readers- First-rate comments here! I just saw that SS director Kim Cheatle is saying they left the shooter's roof unguarded because it was sloped and so would present a danger to any agents up there. Except...the snipers who got the shooter were atop a roof with a STEEPER slope, making Cheatle's attempt at ass-covering obvious and embarrassing.

Regarding identifying the perp by DNA, I'm guessing that was just bad reporting from someone who watches too much TV.

I'm also seeing a report that the Secret Service had their eye on the shooter for (wait for it) 30 minutes before he started shooting. They saw him check out the building, saw him using a range finder, saw him get a ladder, saw him get a backpack, and then saw him on the (barely sloped) roof. None of this passes the smell test.

In all likelhood the amateur that took the shot at Trump jumped the gun and took the pro who was supposed to make the shot by surprise...or the pro just missed, it happens, unlikely the bullet that clipped Trump will ever surface to be compared against the others that went all over the place.

  58. @JustaJeepGuy, you have to remember that many of these idiots who couldn't manage a lemonade stand think that "Modern Monetary Theory" (just endlessly printing money) is a real, viable thing that you can just go on doing forever. Never mind the fact that this is exactly how Weimar Germany got the real Hitler, when people got fed up of needed wheelbarrows of cash to buy a loaf of bread. (Perhaps this is why some are so hot on the "digital dollar"; they can just add zeros to your paycheck electronically, eliminating the need for the wheelbarrow)

Of course, it shouldn't take more than a 100-level economic course for people to realize that turning the entire economy into a giant Ponzi scheme will not end well.

For the last 20 years or so ago, I've been noodling a dystopian sci-fi novel which is sort of a cross between Atlas Shrugged and The Handmaids Tale; A world where the green agenda to destroy cheap energy and economic collapse sends us all back 200-plus years. Needless to say, this world will not be kind to your average hard-skills-free Progressive. Also won't be a paradise for women who took their freedom from drudgery due to cheap energy and appliances for granted.

The terror of sloped roofs: DEI-hire Cheatle clearly isn't familiar with the Law of Holes: If you find yourself in a hole, stop digging. Lame excuses like that only make you look lamer.

If there's a government agency left that has not now been destroyed by DEI, I'm not aware of it. Add the Secret Service to the list. They probably chased the last of their competent people out when the punishment for wrongthink was being assigned to watch Biden swim naked at the Navel Observatory. Or later, chasing down hard copies of anything that Hunter had to do with.

I'm not sure what the point of identifying the shooter by DNA is. They already knew who he was. But @Oldarmourer is right, the "CSI effect" has conditioned people to believe that this stuff is fast and easy. It's not. But your average "journalist" these days knows little else. It saddens me to say that the standards for us in high school a half-century ago were far higher than that accepted by today's "professionals".

I tend to follow "Hanlon's Razor", where one should never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by incompetence. Either way, historically when someone suspected of ill-intent was spotted around the protectee, the Secret Service would secure the protectee before the shot had an opportunity to take place instead of spending several minutes discussing it.

In the meantime, it's been the better part of a week and the supposedly fearsome MAGA crowd hasn't gone all BLM and Antifa on America. Go figure.

@Fish Out of Water, and I was told that it was Trump that was going to do fascist s*** like that. Was I misled?

@Rod, and also consider that Menendez is still a senator! Instead of kicking his ass out, Schumer is calling him to resign. Compare that to when the GOP surrendered their margin in the house by kicking out George Santos.

  59. @John the Econ, you got that right! Those idiots seem to think that history started the day the were born and that what happened in Germany just over 100 years ago can't be applied to today.

I had a friend who was born in 1970 and he told me that he had a history teacher in high school who was asked why they had to learn history and the teacher couldn't come up with an answer. The allergy to history started much earlier than many people think.

    ReplyDelete
  60. @John the Econ: What the 'woke' & "progressives" don't understand or ignore is that there isn't a hairsbreadth worth of difference between them and the murderous fascist monsters of the 20th Century (and this Century as well if you count the North Koreans). What galls is the act they pull to keep others from noticing this.

He's already had two, which I'm surprised they haven't tried to use to explain a lot of his lunacy over the years, and at his age another one likely isn't treatable and he very likely has had a few minor strokes in the past couple of months.

I still stand by what I said quite awhile ago, he won't make it to the inaugural and probably not to the election, they'll be using a state funeral as an excuse to push the election back until they find out which names to put on the 'extra' ballots they'll be busily printing up for the sudden and unexpected landslide victory for the new candidate....

  62. @JustaJeepGuy said "I had a friend who was born in 1970 and he told me that he had a history teacher in high school who was asked why they had to learn history and the teacher couldn't come up with an answer."

    Sad. And scary.

History teachers who don't know why they teach history (other than for the paycheck)? Teachers such as this are less teachers and more indoctrinators. And that right there is why I argue that the academic establishment as it exists today is almost totally irredeemable. Sure, we can elect conservatives and replace administrations and school boards. But what about the rank-and-file who don't even know what they are doing or why? We can't simply say "Teach real history!" because they themselves don't even know it or how to do it anymore. This was why during COVID when "Zoom classes" became a thing and parents started learning what their kids were really being taught and teachers didn't want to come back anyway, I started considering the notion that perhaps we should simply shutter the public schools and let kids learn from trolling the Internet. It couldn't possibly be any worse.

@Fish Out of Water said, "...there isn't a hairsbreadth worth of difference between them and the murderous fascist monsters of the 20th Century..."

Which ties in to @JustaJeepGuy said above. You mean the anti-fascists who behave exactly like the fascists? These over-educated ignoramuses know all the slurs, but are bereft of their true meanings. I pray they never get to experience the world they think they want. I certainly pray we don't.

Biden & Wuhan Flu: Makes perfect sense. His dementia was obvious 4 years ago, and the only way he was able to be a viable candidate was because they had COVID as an excuse to sequester him in the basement. Looks like this may be their last-gasp attempt to re-create that miracle.

  63. @Readers- I read this morning that Biden's main Covid symptom is a runny nose. Behind the scenes, top doctors are unsuccessfully trying to convince his nose not to run.

Seriously, I'm not believing the Covid story in the least. The timing (and the need to "isolate" Joe) is just too convenient. I'm guessing that if Joe won't voluntarily step down, his "Covid" may take a grave turn for the worse.

Great and depressing comments about the idiocy of the folks who actually believe that printing money is the same as creating actual wealth. These are the same idiots who want a pizza cut into 8 pieces instead of 12 because they're "not that hungry."

Similarly, I completely echo the opinions about the education system in this country being a disaster at this point. Garbage content, disinterested teachers, no connection to real world skills or contextual history. Instead, kids are being actively indoctrinated by TikTok to learn whatever the Chinese want them to learn.

And has anyone heard anything even vaguely reassuring about the circumstances surrounding Trump's near assassination? We're starting to get CYA reports from "investigations" by HSA, DOJ, FBI and other liars which are unbelievable enough to somehow further erode their credibility.

The Secret Service is now actually proposing that Crooks intended doing a mass shooting at the rally and wasn't targeting Trump at all, and he only scrambled atop the roof to escape police (and is it "scrambling" if you brought a ladder? Or WAS there even a ladder?), then thought "Well, as long as I'm up here..."

If Trump survives long enough to get to the Oval Office, I'm hoping to see a lot of these agencies shit-canned with extreme prejudice.

  64. So now the left is blaming the Secret Service for failing to do it's job, and not the local police, whose job it was to secure the outlying area. "Sources" are intimating that it was a conspiracy to kill Mr Trump, and the Secret Service was in on it.
I see this B.S as certifiable as the fresh excrement emitting from the anus of an adult male bovine. Was he in collusion with others? I don't know, and at this point, neither does anyone else.
The FBI has gotten a huge black eye over the Trump debacle. They have the largest, most brilliant team of investigators in the world. Here is their chance to recover from the shiner, and do what they do so well; investigate and uncover the real truth.
Meanwhile, Mr Trump is safe. Let us offer prayers of thanksgiving for his survival, drink a cup of tea and wait for the next crisis for the news media to blow out of proportion.

  65. I saw an article today that said the shooter "hid" his rifle on the building roof the day (or night?) before. That might explain why he wasn't stopped when people saw him climbing onto the roof. Then again, the whole "he hid the rifle" thing might just be bullship the FBI and SS are using to cover their incompetence. Weren't there eyewitnesses who actually saw Crooks with a rifle?

Also, that article shows guys standing on the roof in question. In construction terms, it's probably like a 2-12 or 3-12 roof slope. In other words, almost flat. Cheatle (interesting name, right?) is another fine example of a Democrat DEI hire.

    LMFAO!

  67. @Readers- BREAKING NEWS? Multiple sources are reporting that Biden is indeed stepping down and is expected to make the announcement Sunday if not sooner. Maybe someone reminded him that he's been found incompetent to present a defense at trial so he doesn't need to hold on to his job to prevent jail time.

If Kamala is the nominee, it will be an epic blowout in Trump's favor. If it's NOT Kamala, then female and black voters are going to be angry. Our stars finally seem to be aligning (knock on wood).

  68. So, is Gropey Joe going to step down or does he have a Kremlin cold? Maybe they'll find a way to kill him off so they can have a hero's sendoff for him.

I have mixed feelings. On the one hand I'd love to see the Groper get humiliatingly rejected at the polls. On the other hand, who will be run against President Trump? Kamalatoe (or as I now refer to her, "Word Salad Annie") or Greasy Gavin or Stretchy Gretchy Whitmer or someone else entirely? Who else can be easily trounced by President Trump? It's true that the Demo_Rats have a serious problem with Word Salad Annie: they can't really run her, but if they don't they'll have a (small) mutiny. I'm shedding crocodile tears.

I, personally, have not voted for any Demo_Rats for any office in over 40 years because they have permitted commies (Barack Hussein, anyone?) to take over their party and they can't seem to see anything wrong with that.

  69. Oh, the best part of dumping Gropey Joe is that "Dr." Jill will have to vacate the White House. Sorry-not-sorry, you witch-with-a-capital-B, you've wasted more than your share of taxpayers' money.

  70. "There was a tacit understanding that for a dementia-ridden Biden to win, Trump had to die." That was there best chance for Biden but there are at least a couple o Republicans that would beat Biden. It was a mistake to debate so early and expose Biden's deterioration in enough time for them to make changes (not that it will help a lot but it gives them hope and organizing enthusiasm).

I know they are trolling but Trump campaign response to a vice president debate is not until we know who your VP will be. It was improper for Trump to debate Biden pre- nomination when he would not debate fellow republicans. Everyone knew Biden was feeble so Trump went there and may have helped steamroll the Dems into changing horses.

  71. Permit me a possible chain of Cheatle’s thinking:

    1. We know there are a large number of people out there who’d like to assassinate him.

    2. Arrange “security” at each event to allow for an opportunity to do so.

    3. Eventually someone will do it for us.

I attended an outdoor campaign event for Bush 41 in ‘92 at a very secure-to-begin-with venue. The security against snipers was obvious. The podium backed up against a tall building. A counter sniper team was very noticeable on top of that building. ALL lines of sight from other tall structures to the podium from up to about 1000 yards away were blocked by strings of semi trailers placed end to end. When I saw the layout of the Butler site on subsequent news reports, that experience immediately came to mind. I can only think that the response of the counter snipers, when they were initially positioned and saw the layout, was “WTF are they thinking?” I would encourage any hearings, and there should be plenty, should include questioning of those teams and ask that question.
