Violin Rhetoric

It's Mourning In America
Do you hear that shrill, high-pitched sound in the distance? It could be the world's saddest song being played on the world's smallest violin, but it's more likely the keening wail of Leftists who are distraught that Kamala Harris could not snatch victory, so to speak, based solely on her race(s), genitalia, and an odd conviction that people are fascinated and inspired by long-winded stories of being raised in a middle-class family.

The pain these people are experiencing is very real, and you should definitely not be laughing over it here and here. If you must laugh, you have permission to laugh at this...

stilton’s place, stilton, political, humor, conservative, cartoons, jokes, hope n’ change, Lefty Lucy, Trump victory, media, MAGA

All (well, most) kidding aside, I hate the fact that many people I know - good and intelligent people - are suffering because they've been media-trained to believe that Trump is Hitler, Democracy is over, and that MAGA stormtroopers will soon start the pogroms on Leftists, women, and minorities. All while laughing evilly. "Bwaa-ha-ha!" will ring throughout the land.

And in complete disregard of the Paris Climate Accord, the Trump administration will be polluting our dwindling supply of clean air with the black smoke cascading from the high-capacity ovens the Orange Man will be building using stolen Social Security funds.

This is pain that need not exist which is being intentionally inflicted on well-intended Americans by the media and their string-pullers. And that's not right. It's cruel and makes a mockery of "fair" elections. And I'm hoping that somehow, something can be done about it under the new administration.

Unlike those on the left, I am against any limits on Free Speech and know that "misinformation" can't be pinned down or controlled. But what we've been seeing for a long time goes beyond that, with multiple news outlets phrasing their lies and insinuations with precisely the same language. That coordinated effort is not so much a Free Speech issue as a potential RICO violation.

How to handle it? I don't know. But even Leftists don't deserve the psychological tortures being inflicted on them from what they believe to be their own side.

  2. @Stilton said, "...an odd conviction that people are fascinated and inspired by long-winded stories of being raised in a middle-class family." Well, one person was fascinated by those long-winded word salads: Kamalatoe, aka Word Salad Annie! I think she actually believes that her manner of speaking...and speaking...and speaking...while not saying anything would actually fool everyone who heard it. As someone somewhere on the Internet said, "Word salad is no longer on the menu."

  9. Well said, Stilt. Watching the wailing and gnashing of teeth, the senseless tantrums and emotional self destruction of Harris supporters was fun for about 5 minutes - then it became sad. It was sad for all the reasons you point out.
The vitriol spewed by anyone on the loosing side is the direct result of never being told "no" by their parents and endless manipulation by a corrupt media.
The real danger is a press that abdicated it's responsibility to provide only facts to the people so that they can decide. If the press is unwilling to police itself or hold itself to their own alleged standards, then we do have problem and it's not Donald Trump.

  11. So has Lefty Lucy been fitted for her Handmaids outfit yet? I hear that page 6 of Project 2025 requires that all women wear them whenever out of the house come January 20th.

And I'm definitely not laughing at the pain Progressives are expressing over the mediocre Kamala losing to the obviously less-mediocre Trump. Mental illness is not a laughing matter, or so I've been told.

But it is sad to see people being mindlessly left into pits of despair over the seeming inevitability of handmaids outfits, cages, censorship, and the growing list of paranoia porn the leftist media has been inventing. You'd think that the reality that we've already lived through 4 years of Trump without any of that happening would leave people a bit more calm.

Until Trump starts taking shots at the 1st, 2nd, 4th Amendments and the rest of the Bill of Rights, I won't be calling him a fascist. That can't be said of the previous administration.

And are rank-and-file Democrats going to take out their angst at their supposed party for forcing Kamala on them? After all, it's not like the ironically-named Democratic Party let anyone outside of some smoke-filled back room vote on the matter.

Yes, yes they do. They need to see and feel what the twisted bastards running their party truly thinks of them, maybe given enough of it they'll start to open their eyes and realize just how badly they've been played for so long and do something about it...probably not, far too many of them are unable to comprehend reality or function in a responsible society, but it would be nice if a few did.

    1. I work with a guy who proudly confessed on at least 3 occasions that if he were on that rooftop, he "wouldn't have missed". If Kameltoe had won I was going to ask him "Are you going to finally 'get it' when the executions begin?" I'll bet not ONE democrap knows "jack" about 1917 Russia!

    3. If I were on the that rooftop, I'm pretty confident in saying that I wouldn't have missed either...the difference is, for me that's an exercise in marksmanship not a political statement.

    4. Ever since July 13 I have maintained that NO ONE could have made that shot. President Trump turned his head EXACTLY the right amount, at EXACTLY the correct time, to keep from dying. No sniper at all, using the same rifle, under the same time constraints, with police closing in and rushing the shot, could beat that head-turn. Whether it was Divine Intervention or just plain dumb luck, the two people involved caused the shooter to miss the President. Sadly, Corey Comperatore was not as lucky. I'm glad that SOMEONE took out the trash, whether it was a SS guy or a local PD guy.

    5. I never claimed to be able to clip an ear at that range, it's larger than MOA though so entirely possible with proper equipment and a LOT of practice, and if it was stationary, but why would you ?
Aiming centre of mass at a potentially moving target so no matter which way the head turned it was still a hit is the exercise the 'sniper' failed miserably and clipping Trump's ear was the result, thankfully. You take winds and target movement into account when deciding on a shot and while a torso shot was probably out due to the possibility of a vest, the neck doesn't move when you turn your head, everything in there is important and the angle doesn't matter much.

    6. The shooter was using just a red dot sight, though. With no scope and not a particularly accurate rifle, he probably thought the head shot was the best way to go. Fortunately, President Trump turned to look at the screen and the rest is history.

    7. At the National matches I made some 'headshots' at 500 metres with iron sights *shrugs* and at 200 and 300 metres a head and shoulders target was all we got to shoot at for deliberate/snap/rapid with the highest scoring zone around the mouth. The shot at Trump was a little over 100 metres, we only shot one relay at that range, rapid, and pretty much everyone had a perfect score on it. I never used optics any of the times I went because we weren't issued them yet.

Red dots are good for quite a distance, especially for rapid and snap shots on 'any hit counts' targets but irons are better for deliberate at small targets out to 300 metres or so, after that you need to use a reference...the way my sights were set I never adjusted them, I used almost the same point of aim for 100 and 300, the bottom of the small target board, dropped down just a tad at 200 and at 500 the target was mounted on a 4x4 backing...the top of the backboard was pretty much a perfect hold, there were only two rounds at 400 metres in the entire match so everybody just guessed and my sights were set at about 440 to get the aim points I wanted anyway ;)

And knowing full well I'm never going to be as NICE as Jack was and tried to get me to be... Trying to do better but It's myself I'm dealing with and God knows that! He did make me this way.

I'm so sick of the liberal bias and BS some obviously libtard as she stated that "MY party coined that phrase" attempted to jump my shit on someone else's post yesterday.

You don't know me so kindly do not tell me I do not understand what is going on in this world - I know and understand from my perspective and I like mine better than her stupid SHIT!

And further more I am not a Republican or a DUMBOCRAT but I've been on both sides and the DUMBOCRATS I worked for before Jack got sick are LIARS AND CROOKS - I had my reasons like a pensions which one of them they did manage to screw me out of one but oh well.

I really have been an independent but this time TRUMP is the only one that made sense and behind him and Vance all the way. And I cannot believe the twits that have not yet left the country ( HA HA like they really would) or think that they are finished trying to screw things up for Trump either.

And further told her do NOT tell ME I'm wrong either go troll someone else.

  19. I'm not going to feel remorse over enjoying the meltdown. They wanted Trump dead. So, no sympathy from me. After what they've put us through since Biden was cheated in and well before then, they deserve their misery. The only thing I rue is that they will benefit from the emerging great economy too. The corrupt media need to take a long hard look at what they've become, or they too will become relics. If Elon hadn't bought Twitter, I shudder to think of that ridiculous woman being our president. I'm also thrilled at the repudiation of the celebrities whose outsized egos thought they could influence an election and, in the process, alienated a lot of people who USED to buy their product.

  24. So, let me get this straight. NOW, it's OK to say the election was stolen?

Regarding women who are shaving their heads... isn't that sort of like wearing a sign around one's neck that says, "I'm a retard and voted for Kamala."?

Regarding women who are swearing off sex with men for four years... huzzah! No progeny from idiots.

Regarding celebs moving away. I predict that NONE of them follow through.

  25. In the near week since Trump's resurrection and the howling and hair-on-fire from those who say they can't live in Trump's America, I have this humble proposal.

Instead of using the funds illegally earmarked for student loan forgiveness, how about for any American citizen who can present a bona fide immigration visa from any country , money from this fund to cover a one-way airfare to said country, a $3,000 bonus and exemption from the IRS exit tax, normally applied to those who renounce their American citizenship.
Further, election of this option would be an irrevocable choice for the adults and minor age children.

  26. @Fish Out of Water, as always is seems as though our fiercest critics prefer to stay.

This morning, I read of the "trans railroad" that purports to transport trans people under existential threat to somewhere. I asked where that might just be. Literally no other country on the planet puts up with this level of insanity. Even Progressive Europe is now pushing back, and their replacement cultures are hardly as tolerant as we are.
