Sorry, Virginia, There Is No Sanity Clause

Having a grating time - wish none of you were here.
If there was a Stupidity Olympics, it might well look like what the world saw in Charlottesville, Virginia this weekend. Idiots came from all over to participate in the Games, with oversight (and we use that word in every possible sense) and rules administered by as striking a bunch of ideological nitwits as you could ever hope to assemble in one place.

It isn't easy to comment on exactly what happened because the incendiary events became perfect fodder for alleged journalists (and politicians) to say whatever the hell they wanted to whether it was factual or not. Hurricanes only wish they had this kind of spin.

According to the mainstream media, Donald Trump's enthusiastic embrace of Nazis and the KKK inevitably manifested in a White Power hate rally. And when lovable Leftists peacefully protested, a number of them were deliberately mowed down by the speeding car of a White racist causing one death and many serious injuries. So horrific was the racist violence that a police helicopter fell out of the sky just from watching the carnage, causing the tragic deaths of two officers - but upping the tally to "3 killed in violent confrontations" in reports throughout the entirely delighted media.

But that's not exactly what happened. Although truthfully, we don't know exactly what happened (how could we?) but do know a lot of things are being underreported and misreported.

• The "Unite the Right" rally was planned ahead of time in coordination with the ACLU, a proper permit was obtained, and no matter how odious the nincompoop group's views might be, they had a First Amendment right to assemble peacefully and speak.

• Officials of Charlottesville (along with Virginia governor and longtime Clinton hack, Terry McAuliffe) presciently "predicted" violence before the event, perhaps because they were welcoming the imbecilic armies of Antifa and BLM with open arms - after which they illegally (according to an actual judge) tried to move the event before revoking the permit entirely. Unsurprisingly, and perhaps intentionally, chaos ensued.

• Antifa and BLM came looking for violence, then caused it - throwing stones and water bottles, pepper spraying alt-right types, and occasionally just beating people bloody (although in fairness, some in the "Unite the Right" crowd clearly came to rumble, too). Seemingly, the police did little to stop this and might (we emphasize might) have been instructed to step back to allow some politically useful carnage to take place.

• A 20-year old loser who might (we emphasize might) be a Nazi-sympathizer drove his car into a crowd at high speed. If it was his intent to injure people, then he is a terrorist - no more, no less - and should suffer the appropriate consequences.

In other words, every aspect of this clash of the dunderheads was a fustercluck of the highest magnitude. Hateful cretins of many races, creeds and colors came to clash - influenced far more by the media's rhetoric than anything ever said by Donald Trump, and certainly not endorsed by the President in any way.

A couple of important points: the imbeciles who really are neo-Nazis and White supremacists are despicable, but there aren't that many of them. Happily, inbreeding shortens their life spans.

Similarly, the blockheads of Antifa and BLM are probably lacking in real numbers, although their influence gets magnified by favorable press coverage and the seemingly endless depth of George Soros's pocketbook.

Unfortunately, with the intent of forcing Donald Trump out of the White House, the mainstream media continues to turn up the heat and create the illusion that the majority of Americans have pledged allegiance to one pinheaded side or the other. By doing so, they maneuver citizens (albeit hopeless ignoramuses) into gladiatorial combat, with actual bloodshed - no matter who caused it - seen as a victory.

And nothing that happened in Charlottesville is more sickening, or more frightening, than that.

BONUS: REPORT FROM THE FIELD

Reader JRMD posted this in the comments, but I want to be sure that everyone can read it. More insight and background here than I've seen anywhere else!

JRMD from Virginia said...
Stilt,
From the heavy heart of Central VA I can tell you why it happened.
The Charlottesville 'Clown' Council is 100% far left to the point they can't stand straight.
The black 'vice' mayor (Bellamy) came to C'ville as a teacher, member of the gov's. education board and a council electee. His baggage included uncovered racist tweets (especially against white women) and on-line posts. When these were brought to light he left his teaching position (rather than be fired) and resigned from the governor's edu. bd.
HOWEVER, since he was so pro black and anti white, the clown council and the idiots in C'ville not only left him on council but made him vice mayor.... paving the way for his future political aspirations. (Heaven help the fools!) (Over 80% of them voted for Hillary, so you know they have problems.)
C'ville formed a commission to study the Lee and Jackson statues after one of Bellamy's students said they scared her when she went through the parks. An obvious set-up to everyone but the C'ville croud.
The commission, after months of study and public meetings, advised the council to leave the statues in place and add plaques to explain that part of history.
The council rejected the commissions findings and voted to remove the statues.
Thus - the KKK and Alt Right rallies.
The KKK came, spoke briefly and left. They were attacked by anti-protesters. 28 of them were arrested for violence..... not 1 KKK member.
The lefties and the clown council supported the claim of police brutality because tear gas had to be used to quell the protesters attacks on the KKK AND the police. They objected to the arrests and said the police should have been more patient and that they antagonized the protesters by wearing their riot gear. Interestingly - NONE of the 28 have been to court to face their charges..?? Swept under the rug????
Kessler (Alt-Right Movement) applied for a permit to protest the statue removals. The application was for Lee Park at the base of the Lee statue. Certainly not off-limits as that was where most of the anti-statue rallies were held by the lefties.
The clown council sat on the permit until the last minute and approved it - if held in McIntire Park, on the outskirts of town.
Surprisingly the ACLU and Rutherford Institute jumped in to file a suit based on the violation of free speech.
A Federal Judge held a night hearing and blocked the order to relocate.
That had to P O the clown council.!!!!
As both rally participants and anti-rally protesters formed early Sat. AM, skirmishes broke out due to the protesters throwing frozen water bottles, soda cans filled with concrete, bottles of excrement, etc. at rally members in the park and attacking those trying to get to the park.
Hundreds of police and national guard stood by and did nothing to stop the abuse.
It quickly became obvious that they were not only remembering the flak the took for stopping the KKK rally violence but also had the intent, most likely directed by the clown council, to let it happen until it could be declared an 'unlawful gathering' and shut it down. So much for 'Serve and Protect'.
The rally was shut down shortly after after 11AM - an hour before it was scheduled to start. A couple protesters were arrested.
The Alt-Rt supporters left the park and the anti-rally protesters pranced around the 'once-upon-a-time' grand city of Charlottesville, VA proclaiming a victory.
The lack of quick and decisive action by the police to quell the violence perpetrated by the protesters was the cause of all the problems and will result in future problems as the 'white supremacist' groups have vowed to return - ready to take care of themselves.
Charlottesville's actions (and INActions) has stirred up a hornets nest.

This account is as factual as it can get. I watched it happen.

Is it the opening salvo of the (1st real or 2nd) civil war?

  8. This was certainly tragic but all the above comments seem to be more truthful than what is being reported. And now Trump is being maligned for being a racist and responsible for this because of his bigotry. But for 8 years no one reported that the former dic's rhetoric of not even SAYING "islamic terrorism" was conveniently ignored by the left which has left us and the Western world in a chaotic mess. Talk about racist bigotry. That goes two ways.

  9. Stilt, I wish that your comments and those of JRMD could be printed on the front page of every newspaper in the country. There is more truth in those than anyone will ever read anywhere else. I mean, word for word, as is. I know that will never happen, but I can still wish.

  11. The problem with BLM and their history revisionist aims is the only way people decide to change attitudes is to teach them history. In Germany the history of the Nazi era is taught in public schools. It's required. How can we learn from mistakes in the past if we don't learn the past. Removing statues because they scared someone is rewriting the past and depriving a silly person of a growing up opportunity.

  13. The legal rally of alt-righters and possibly KKK members, an organization started by the left, was for the purpose of protesting the removal of a statue of Robert E. Lee, the left-leaning Confederate general in the left-started Civil War.
Now the left wants to rewrite history as though that war never happened and the right wants to preserve it.
    The irony is intense.

  16. I heard from a reliable source that the statues of Lee and Jackson were being replaced with a "living" one of Maxine Watters, complete with selected audios (a nickel each) of her speeches. It will be funded by a tax, levied on city and county property owners in Southern California. Word also has it that most owners are willing, eager and happy to help in any way they can.

  17. It seems like, to the extent the Nazis and the KKK were involved, this ought to be a really easy one for everyone to condemn, and if the kid who committed murder was a Nazi, then yeah, call him and them out.

I also believe that when we see real racism or injustice, we ought to call people on it. Let them know that's not socially acceptable here.

But I'll limit those prior statements in two ways:

    1. I've protested enough to know that in most cases, protests don't amount to much if no one gets riled up by it. If the mayor doesn't send the cops out to break it up or counter-protesters don't show up, then the media ignores it and it might as well never have happened. Protesting can be pretty boring if angry people on the other side stay home.

    2. Many on the left will overplay their hand on this. They will use this murder to justify everything from the impeachment of Donald Trump to, um, I don't know. Maybe more regulation of Dodge Challengers. It is absolutely, positively going to happen. I'm not going to let it affect my thoughts on any of this either way. Hopefully.

  18. "groups have vowed to return - ready to take care of themselves"
This is the part that gets me. Someone will pull a gun and open fire in legit self defense (did anyone else see the pic of a BLM guy using a spray can as a flame thrower?), people, perhaps many of them will get shot and killed, and the usual suspects start calling for impounding all handguns.
    Then we will be Venezuela...

As for the driver of the car, it's possible he was just trying to get away, and picked the wrong route. Possible people were throwing stuff at him, and remembering Baltimore, he freaked out. I don't know, I wasn't there.
    Tragic, at any event.

And the punk who punched the reporter BECAUSE she was 'press' - I hope he gets prosecuted to the full extent...

  19. And, it occurs to me, that 'when they come back' NO one shows up, b/c it's perceived to be 'too dangerous' then the terrorists (anti-fa / BLM) have won, successfully suppressing free speech.
So, show up and risk being in the middle of a shooting riot, or don't show and capitulate.
    Dammit, that's a crappy choice.

  21. "Stupidity Olympics". Once again, you've nailed it.

My simple analysis: Roughly 50 KKK-neo-Nazi-whatevers organize a rally. Over 1000 counter-protesters show up to counter protest (aka "virtue signal") Predicable stupidity ensues. Internet goes apocalyptic.

Which is exactly what these 50 wanted to happen.

These otherwise irrelevant people are all into it for the attention. And boy did they get it. And then the left extrapolates the 50 as a proxy for the hundreds-of-millions who don't hate Trump, just as they extrapolated the single kid who shot up the church as a proxy for all white-male gun owners.

Mrs. Econ and myself did our best to ignore this over the weekend. And if you didn't show up at a sympathy rally in your community, then you're part of the problem to. Or least that's what I've been led to believe by my read of social media.

(I do have to give one of our local TV affiliates credit for totally ignoring this story during the evening local news)

The reality is that the KKK has been irrelevant as a political force for better part of the last 50 years. (Or when it was still a wholly owned subsidiary of the Democrats) IMHO, the only reason they still exist at all and get media attention is because the left needs to trot them out as evidence that the right is evil. (Even though fascism and the KKK is historically aligned with the left) For the last several decades, this usually meant lots of articles on David Duke popping up only in election years. But now it seems that we'll be hearing a lot about the KKK full-time, as the left needs another boogyman to replace the worn out (and now backfiring) "Trump is a stooge of Russia" narrative.

@JRMD: Thanks for the background. Certainly nothing that we would have learned by reading the New York Times.

    ReplyDelete
  22. @graylady said "In Germany the history of the Nazi era is taught in public schools. It's required. How can we learn from mistakes in the past if we don't learn the past."

Actually, mandatory education about the Holocaust in Germany is less mandatory than it used to be:

Teaching the Holocaust to Muslim Germans, or Not

You see, Muslims tend to either deny the Holocaust, or approve of it. Either way, education based upon premise that the Holocaust was "bad" is deemed "offensive" to them. So the easiest solution is to just erase it from the curriculum for Muslim children. Over time, as the proportional population of Muslim children increases, it will be easier to erase it for everyone.

And we're basically doing the same thing here. Today, the statues and landmarks will be erased. Much of the era of slavery has already been scrubbed from the curriculum in America. (All began 30 years ago when "Huck Finn", which was probably one of the best narratives of the error for kids to understand was purged from required reading lists) In a generation, there will be little historical context left for the era. All we'll be left with is a tribalized society where everyone been told that they're "victims", but none will really even understand why.

  23. Thanks for posting JRMD's insight, and thanks JRMD for taking your time in the first place. It's sad that the vast majority of our fellow citizens don't know, much less care to learn, what might have actually taken place here because they let the MSM make their minds up for them long ago. It's fascinating to see history bending around an inflection point the way it has over the last 8+ years. It's sad there is so little individuals can due to change the trajectory this country is on. Which is one of the reasons my four favorite words have become "ammo is on sale."

  24. Velveeta Processed Cheese FoodAugust 14, 2017 at 2:21 PM

In RE: John the Econ and the irrelevance of the KKK. Going on 20 years ago the newspaper in Lincoln, Nebraska made a huge stink about the KKK in Lincoln and its threat to the city's Jewish population. Reading between the lines, it was obvious the entire KKK consisted of one pathetic loser confined to a wheelchair. Seriously. Later, as the story the developed, the rabbi at the city's leading synagogue reached out to him and they supposedly became friends. The guy just wanted some attention.

    ReplyDelete
  25. @Anonymous Velveeta Processed Cheese Food, something very similar happened in my town last year. Some lonely whackjob living in a retirement home distributed some anti-Jewish flyers about town. 1 guy. The place went nuts. You would have thought we were on the eve of the Kristallnacht with brownshirts marching down the streets pulling people from their homes. There were the predictable meetings, rallies, protests that went on for weeks. All angst caused by one malcontent loner.

Pretty ironic considering that most of the people outraged had nothing to say about Obama's very real antisemitism over the last 8 years.

Which brings me to another thought: The irony of this whole thing about protesting these supposed Nazis is that the agenda is actually completely Nazi-like. It's about enforcing the political narrative. Yesterday, I responded to a very Progressive friend's post on social media with an article from The Southern Poverty Law Center (of all places) stating that contrary to the media narrative, this was all about a mere 50 neo-Nazi-white-supremacists. This morning, he posted on my wall a picture of a rally he attended in his town in support of the protests, the subtle suggestion being that by my not protesting in a similar manner myself, that makes me just as bad as the Nazis.

Got it? By not adequately "virtue signaling" with the Progressive mob, you are one of "them" and should be shunned.

Hmmmmmm. Kinda sounds like something actual Nazis would do.

  30. Eyewitnesses: James Fields' Car Was 'Attacked,' Police Set Up Rally-Goers To Be Assaulted..
Some cops reportedly believed that Fields struck the counter-protesters by accident while trying to escape violent attackers.
Charlottesville police forced Unite the Right rally-goers to walk directly through mobs of un-patrolled Black Lives Matter and Antifa rioters, sparking the violence that led to mayhem and destruction in the streets of Charlottesville Saturday. The police then stood down and allowed the violence to happen. Some of the protesters on the Left were paid agitators.
“Car that hit those people drove right by us 3 mins after. Was beat all to f*ck. Big rectangular square holes in rear windshield in addition to all the damage you see done to it in the photos,” the eyewitness said.
“Anyway several police officers at the station here think the guy running people down wasn’t malicious. They said the driver was scared,” The Hill reporter Taylor Lorenz tweeted as the case was developing. That tweet is now deleted.
Obviously, there can be no challenge to the official media narrative pushed by Virginia governor Terry McAuliffe and Democrats and establishment Republicans, which claims that Fields intentionally ran over counter-protesters in a deliberate terrorist act.
It is unclear exactly what a second Civil War would look like in this country in 2017, and what form it would take. But it’s perfectly clear, based on the events in Charlottesville and the mainstream globalist media’s round-the-clock attack on Trump and his supporters, that a cold Civil War is already underway.

  31. @George Cooper and Anonymous- Thanks for the nice comments. I'm just trying to connect the dots from a lot of sources. I have no special insights other than too much experience with how the news is manipulated these days. I've always been the guy quick with a joke, so it's odd that I now so often find myself trying to be the voice of common sense.

@Bobo- Originally the driver was identified as a Democrat supporter, but that turned out to be wrong. If we can believe the current reports (and that's a whopping "if," though the Wall Street Journal is at least in the mix) this was a screwed up kid who really did believe strongly in Nazis and white supremacy.

@REM1875- I just tried to cut as much bullshit out of the narrative as possible.

@Granny- Well said. It's breaking my heart to see Americans tossed into the ring like fighting dogs for the amusement of the manipulators.

@JRMD- EXCELLENT post, and you may have noticed that I bumped it to the front page. Your insights are better and clearer than pretty much anything else I've read to date. Thank you!

@Anonymous- I'm not big on conspiracies, but I'll absolutely concede that there may have been a lot of theater here intended to fool the public. It's well documented that the Left has frequently supplied fake Nazis and racists at conservative events just to make us look bad.

@Judi King- Make no mistake, the Leftist media isn't demanding that Trump denounce white supremacist groups, they want him to renounce them...the implication being that he previously supported them, which is nonsense.

And you make a good point about Obama; for 8 years the man encouraged violence in the streets and the mainstream media said nothing. The bastards.

@chef621- Unlike most of the coverage I've seen, my comments were not intended to be inflammatory. That's the mainstream media's game, and it's working too well. I don't know how we can stop the infighting, but we must.

@Fred Ciampi- I'm glad you weren't there. It sounds like the whole thing was a setup to feed the "Unite the Right" group to the angry mobs. As for the car crasher, I'm anxious to hear his side of the story to see what was going on. Had his car been attacked? Was he having a panic attack? Or was he just so filled with the belief that Americans are at war with each other that he took the terror route?

    ReplyDelete
  32. @graylady- Excellent point. History is not well served by erasing the embarrassing parts. Should we remove the statue of Martin Luther King Jr in Washington because it "triggers" people with memories of our nation's racial discrimination? Tearing down monuments and revising history strikes me as "Taliban meets 1984."

@Kitty- Thanks for the kind words. It is always my hope that this site can be a little bastion of sanity, thanks to everyone who comments here.

@Geoff King- The Left doesn't really "get" irony. Which is a shame; it would be fun to see their heads explode.

@Tots- If I believed that Leftists pray, I'd say they were praying for an incident exactly like this (and they've been doing so for a long, long time - since violence almost ALWAYS comes from their side rather than ours). Make no mistake, the blood in the streets is seen as a cause for celebration to them.

    @Alan- Exactly right.

@Alfonso Bedoya- I don't doubt that the Left has a long list of "Social Justice Heroes" that they'd like to see honored with statues. And if it happens, I'm definitely going to visit each site just to feed Ex-lax to the local pigeons.

@Harry Hamid- Excellent comments. It's absolutely right to condemn hateful, racist speech. But it's also absolutely right - and entirely necessary - to defend the First Amendment rights of those who want to say idiotic and offensive things. It's not a complicated concept, but it's one which the Left can't seem to wrap their little minds around.

And you're right that this protest would have been a big nothing if the "Unite the Right" group had just showed up with their mosquito-repellent tiki torches and ranted for a bit while the police protected their right to do so. Instead, the police actually seem to have been complicit in stirring up a hornet's nest and ignoring the aggressors (Antifa, mostly) in order to encourage politically useful violence.

And like you, I'm trying not to let this affect my thoughts in too big a way. This was a small event, being wildly magnified by the same media types who wanted it to happen.

@Pete (Detroit)- The Left is just salivating at the thought of someone on the Right finally using a gun to commit an act of violence (even if an act of violent self-defense). It has been made clear that the cops will not stand up to Antifa or BLM, and that violence against those on the Right (or alt-Right) will be condoned. Make no mistake, this is being done to set up the very scenario you're talking about.

@joe jetson- And did you see Barry's comment about Charlottesville? The sumbitch just quoted Nelson Mandela with a statement that sounded poetic and didn't address the situation at all. It's the perfect Obama move: say something that sort of sounds good, but means nothing.

And yes, I'm pretty sure he's happy with the way the various puppet strings are being pulled.

    ReplyDelete
  33. @John the Econ- I don't mean to give you short shrift, but all I can say is that your comments were great. As usual!

@MartyB- It's so terribly frustrating to see this madness escalating and feel powerless to stop it. Lord knows my itty-bitty blog isn't going to change anyone's mind, although at least it's an oasis of sorts for those of us who are here.

@Judi King- Per JRMD's post, I actually liked the recommendation of leaving the statue up but adding a plaque to give historical perspective and meaning. But those concepts are anathema to the Left.

@Velveeta Processed Cheese Food- Metaphorically speaking, I think ALL current members of the KKK are basically losers confined to metaphorical wheelchairs who are looking for attention.

@John the Econ- The whole concept of being guilty unless you "virtue signal" makes me sick. You won't find me quoting the Bible here very often, but let's hear what Matthew has to say on the subject: "Be careful not to perform your righteous acts before men to be seen by them. If you do, you will have no reward from your Father in heaven."

I'm not looking for that heavenly reward, but that's as accurate a condemnation of virtue signaling as anyone could want. Virtue signaling is not about doing good or being good; it's about being seen as good. It's an act of egotism, and does no good to those who actually need help.

And man, am I sick of being called horrific names because I support Freedom of Speech.

Mark Matis & Shelly- Good points!

@Ralph- I've seen video online of the car being beaten by protesters, but only AFTER he'd rammed the crowd. I'd have beaten on the car too! Whether or not the car had been attacked before the death drive is something I'd very much like to know.

  34. One thing these sad anti-protesters won't realize until it's too late is that they're nothing more than a modern day version of the very disposable brownshirts of Hitler's era.
Funny how that color fits when you think about it.
Like toilet paper, when it's brown, ya' flush it down

  35. Too much pseudo PC about Confederate flags as part of state flags of long standing, too much tearing down the historical flags of the South as if suddenly they send the wrong messages to those who were freed by the incredible number of deaths on both sides, too much sudden hurt feelings by gazing on the statues of the South's heroes in a losing cause, too much B.S. from the media and pols jumping on the "righteous bandwagon" to get their latest opinions on the phoney "record," and finding the target -- President Trump -- for not including every baddy (oops, BLM was there) in his off the cuff initial speech instead of the real villains. Puke.

  36. Stilt,

Thanks for posting my report and for the comments by you and fellow readers. I just wanted our group to have facts and not rely on 'fake news'.

I'm sitting here tonight trying to digest the spread of discontent throughout our country. I see that Durham, NC is hosting another mob of lib-idiots and that their property damage is totally unfettered by and devoid of any law enforcement. Much like the start of the Charlottesville event.

C'ville Police Chief Thomas spoke on record Mon. about his regrets for how things turned out. He neither admitted or denied that the lack of police action allowed the disaster to unfold but acknowledged that 'some things' could have been handled differently. He was very humble, sincere and actually looked like a beaten down man. I'm sure he was instructed by his 'Clown' Council employers/handlers as to what he could and couldn't say. He said several things went wrong and that many arriving rally goers passed through an area they were not prepared to defend. I find this hard to believe as they had weeks to plan for the event and well over an hour to adjust to conditions after seeing the shortfalls. They certainly had no problem stopping the rioting protesters at the KKK rally. A few tear gas canisters, some head knocking and 28 arrests put a very quick end to that mess. Interestingly, his explanation of why the officers were told to retreat rather than engage was because they were not wearing the proper riot gear.

I think Al Thomas is a good man who was put in a bad position. He took a lot of abuse from protesters, media, clergy, city manager and the entire 'Clown' Council for his swift and certain action following the KKK rally. He was accused of using unnecessary and excessive force, acting too quickly and police brutality. The complainers blamed the officers riot gear as being antagonistic.

So he took steps to protect his Department from the same type complaints and is now being accused of NOT stepping in aggressively in a timely manner and NOT being prepared (riot gear) to meet the threat.

Folks, if the 'progressive' (and some conservative) town leaders across the land don't quickly grow a set and knock down these libetard protesters, I'm afraid the 'good ole boys' will give it a shot. It won't be pretty.

I just watched some video of the statue destruction in Durham and truly saw the "frenzied long haired freaky people" just like I saw in the 60's - protesting the war (and the USA in general). They too were attacking the soldier, much like the soldier statue attacks today. I spent the last two of my four service years (1964-68) stationed in Washington and we were told (for safety) not to wear our service uniform in public. How about that for an insult?

I'm concerned and worried for our country and the innocent sane folks who will be victims of collateral damage. May God bless America and damn the trouble makers.

  37. And regarding those arrested...
Will they actually receive punishment? Or is it just a catch-and-release? Or does that depend on political leaning?

And speaking of arrests, anyone know what happened to those 200 or so arrested for felony rioting on Inauguration Day?

  38. All this blather admits of nothing. It is trash, tripe, garbage of any and all order you can name.

We are not determining whether this is about history or not. History exists, like it or not. Congress in 1958, in a burst of what passed as wisdom, passed a law decreeing that ALL who fought in the Civil War are Veterans of the United States.

No, this isn't about Lee or a statue of Fustus Hawgwacker. It finally come down to whether America is going to remain a Capitalist nation or become a Communist craphole. And as you have seen the time of talking is past. A Lefty mob decided to tear down a statue in Durham, NC. Why wait for the legal bodies to move; they can take it into their own hands. No police stopped them.
The white supremacists are noting more than a foil for the Left to send out the headbangers. They can bus them in and have plenty on hand to break windows and riot. Look at your major cities and who runs them. Look at what is coming out of the colleges today.

Get ready for when it comes to your door. It will be like the movie "The Purge."

  39. @Stilton, Matthew 6 is one of my favorites. And it's one that I constantly find myself reminding my Progressive Christian friends about when they go to great lengths to make sure we all see that as supposed Christians, they're embracing the "correct" views on any given topic. "Virtue Signalling" is definitely not-Christian.

@valvenator, the fact that the "Antifa" movement isn't simply laughed away for their seemingly transparent irony is just another testament to the abject failure of education in this country. There can be no doubt that the $1.3-trillion of outstanding student debt went completely to waste.

The Durham Video: My first thought on that was "...and these are the people who believe they possess virtue in our society. They think they are the vanguard of an enlightened civilization"

This is what happens when you combine institutionalized ignorance, hate, and moral superiority. They are no better than the KKK.

  40. I've been very busy for a few days & didn't search for, watch, read or listen to any news or propaganda at all. What a relief. Then a saw a U.D. flag at half mast at the State Fair the other day so I asked a state trooper who was directing traffic what that was about. He said it may be about the Virginia thing; a nearby small community where a policeman was shot & killed; or something else.

What a mess we have now..and those who are promoting it need to be gone. Yes;that may mean more violence, but alsojustice... due process or not.

Avoiding the so called news seems to be working pretty well for me and the blood pressure.

  42. I doubt the boy wonder has anything to do with the right given the media's silence regarding him. I am willing to bet he is a Hillary supporter with lots of comments on his facebook page, etc demonstrating he is a loyal and committed social warrior.

As for the police and the government they have demonstrated how bankrupt and corrupt they are. Let the games begin. If they want a true civil war they shall have it.

When the government refuses to enforce the consitution, allows and encourages violence, it is not legitimate.
