"Hey Bill, is that a missile in your pocket or are you glad to see me?" |
Even with a famously calm, cautious, and cool-headed President like Donald Trump delicately handling the crisis, it is at least a little bit worrisome to contemplate North Korea's desire to wreak havoc on our nation and the world. Especially since they could quite possibly pull it off, thanks to our old friends Bill and Hillary Clinton.
As you may recall if you don't get all your news from mainstream media, Hillary "That Glass Ceiling Is Thicker Than It Looks" Clinton and her husband raised tens of millions of dollars for their (ahem) "charitable foundation" by peddling State Department access and favors, as well as signing off on highly questionable deals like selling 20% of America's uranium reserves to Russia.
But this was hardly new behavior for the gruesome twosome. Way back in 1996, when the Clintons were actually renting out the Lincoln bedroom for sleazy celebrity romps in return for campaign contributions, Bill struck a controversial deal (again for hefty campaign donations) to let the Loral Corporation sell advanced missile guidance technology to China.
After which, in a spontaneous burst of unbridled capitalism, China sold the technology to the lunatics running North Korea - a terrifying and entirely predictable outcome which the Clintons didn't give a flying damn about as long as their illicit checks cleared. Some things never change.
And are Hillary's supporters outraged over this? They are not - and probably wouldn't be even if they'd heard of this existential nuclear threat and the attendant scandals (which they haven't). Instead, they spent the weekend in breathless distress over reports that climate change could cause mammals to shrink by as much as 15%.
In this nightmarish scenario, horses would become the size of slightly smaller horses, Great Danes would become the size of regular Danes, and the average sociopathic asshole would be exactly the size of Kim Jong-un.

If Bill had a son, he would look exactly like Kim Jong-un! (Or Vince Foster!)
Great writing!!!!!!!
When presented with FACTS like this, Clinton supports stick their fingers in their ears and start chanting weird things....
Since you brought up NK, I believe this is where the downward spiral of this country started, 1968 with the Pueblo incident. When that AH Johnson did nothing. NK was expecting the wrath of God and Johnson did nothing. Secondly, for eleven months the NK tortured our men. Cmdr Bucher paid dearly for following orders. I was in the service at that time and we discussed it every day on the ship.
Little was made of Clinton selling our missile tech to China. At the time, there was even a Chinese scandal with a few spies.
And what did LBJ give the NoKos for PUEBLO? It was too late, of course, because by that time either China or the Soviet Union got everything the Navy had on the ship. Still, it's another case of the Demo_Rats selling the country out.
The Clintons are guilty of so many treasonous and illegal things. ( That could include murder.) This is just another one. They both should be prosecuted and imprisoned or better yet. shot by firing squad. Why would anyone want either of them back in our White House?
Madeline NotToBright helped with the nukes (for 'peaceful purpose' of course) for a few more bucks to the Klintoon crime syndicate.
I was an engineer for a company that made parts for nuclear submarines when 'kneepads Bill' gave the Chinese the technology for sub propulsion design. Everyone was wondering why oh why would he do something like that? Ah, we were so naive. I don't think jolly Kimmey has more than a couple of nukes, perhaps just enough to knock off sunny California. That may well be a good thing.
I believe that "Cigar Bubba" and his sleazy cohorts should all be tried for treason.
One of these days in the very near future we're going to find out just how damaging
his treasonous act have hurt our country.
Do not discount crazy Kim, he means what he says.
Can you say E.M.P. Weapon boys and girls?
Don't know what that is?
Look it up.........
There may be cause for concern if Kim Jong Un follows through on his threat.
After we reduce his entire country to a pile of radioactive ash, the prevailing winds could push a little fallout our way.
Stilt, not sure what the difference is or how much control you have over it, but I'm finding the font / background combination on this sire much more difficult to read that the old HnC... not sure if anyone else feels the same..
Steve, EMP *is* frightening, unless you live in Amish country. But for the rest of us, the complete collapse of all of the everything will rapidly lead to food riots, cannibalism, etc...Too late them to 'stock up' on precious metals (and if you think I mean gold and silver, it's more like brass and lead)...
I was heartened somewhat to hear that "hardening the grid" (against EMP) was on the list of infrastructure projects the president proposed.
Whether it's still there or not, who knows...
@Pete- IMHO the apparent lack of any concern in our government vis-a-vis the EMP threat is one of the great scandals of our time. The EMP commission released its report in July 2008, almost nine years ago, and what in the hell has been done to harden our grid?
http://empcommission.org/
Oh silly me, they've been too busy destroying our healthcare system, lining their pockets, and promoting the idea that CO2 is destroying our planet. Our capitol city is infested with vermin.
@ Pete
i, too, find this site a bit harder to read. nearly as i can tell it is a combination of slightly darker background and smaller print. font is a bit narrower, too.
Just a couple of days ago we had a neighbor talking about how terrible the situation has become, and we as a nation may not last another year. At first I assumed he was talking about stuff like this but guess what? He was earnestly talking about Trump. And this is an matured, intelligent, skilled, usually lucid person.
I guess it depends upon which cool-aid you are drinking and to which propaganda you listen. THAT is quickly becoming a much bigger problem in this nation. As long as we have capability to turn N. Korea into glass (or any lesser measure we select) we should stay calm about crazy little fat man but get much more engaged about our own domestic traitors. Calm but ready.
There are sharp N Koreans who know KJU is crazy and fear both him & us. They will probably solve their own problem when they notice the big dog has gone silent about their teasing, but has his ears laid back.
You failed to mention that OSambo's ego would shrink to the size of a BB in a boxcar!
Reports that climate change could cause mammals to shrink by as much as 15% should really be considered good news, given the size of the typical Walmart customer these days. IMO
If there are any two traits that are required to be a self-respecting Democrat, they would have to be "ignorance" and/or "amnesia". Prime examples would be:
It was the Democratic party that maintained Jim Crow and segregation in the south, and opposed the civil rights movement. It was also Democrats in Congress that almost exclusively represented the KKK.
Historically, it has been Democrats in Congress who actively engaged and coordinated with the Russians to influence and manipulate US elections.
Which brings us to today's topic, which is about the fact that it was the Clinton Administration that gave aid and support to North Korea that allowed it to continue with their nuclear & missile programs. If and when the Norks become responsible for a big smoking hole somewhere, be it South Korea, Japan, or the US west coast, we'll have the Clintons to thank for much of that.
And if that makes you feel uncomfortable, then consider the fact that many of the people responsible for that abject failure were also involved with negotiating the Iran deal. That's Progressives for you; always doubling-down on failure.
But like I inferred above, none of this matters because Democrats (unlike their party symbol) have the memory of fleas. Long forgotten were the first-Clinton years, where we were supposed to forget whatever their party line was with each new news cycle.
EMP threat: This is what we really should be spending money on. This single threat is all it would take to through human civilization back to the 7th century. Since North Koreans are living the "green dream", an EMP pulse would hardly set them back at all.
If the eco-left thinks the damage from CO2 is bad for the environment, just wait for what will happen when 7-billion people are thrown back into a subsistence existence and don't give a damn what it takes to get their next meal.
JLW - I concur
DJT - Hey, Kim, I'm crazier than you, and my hair looks better...
KJU - at least it's my OWN hair, and NO ONE is crazier than *I* am, Mothafrigger!
Just don't see that ending well...
Here are some helpful suggestion for those of us with "old eyes" or other problems with various web sites. Quickest and easiest, most browsers support the ability to increase/decrease font size on the fly by holding the ctrl key and pressing the plus (+) or minus (-) keys to adjust the font size. Pressing ctrl and zero (0) will reset the view to the default size specified by the page.
Also some browsers, like Firefox have a reader view of some sort that can help you tailor a page to your personal preferences (and strip out a lot of extraneous stuff too). Some browsers have it as a native function, and some require a plugin of some sort. It will of course tend to work better on some sites than others (and not at all on others)... Good luck!
Having a little psychopathic baby with nukes is indeed disturbing, but I still wonder if China could be forced to put a stop to it. Yup, we owe China some serious cash, but their economy would collapse rapidly if they suddenly were faced with a 40% export tax. Perhaps Mr. Trump should remind them, "You shut down KJU, or we shut down your economy and leave a giant, smoking crater where Pyongyang used to be."
Or, considering Kim Jong Un's maturity level, perhaps Trump should offer him a luxury vacation, complete with all the ho's he wants, then shoot the little fatboy's plane down when he crosses over the border.
The "Un's" here in the USSA are the "Enemy Within", UnConstitutionalists like Bill&Hill, Obamy, and yes even the Bushies. Surveillance State since 2004 (at least).

@Readers- I'm way behind in responding to comments, but you're all fully capable of having a party without me (obviously)! For those of you having problems with the font and/or font size, I'm going to check and see what settings I can change to make things easier. I think many (most?) of us here are of "reading glasses" age, if not using actual magnifying glasses.
The threat of an EMP attack terrifies me, and I've been bitching about it for years. I think we could have hardened our grid for about the price of Obama's Solyndra debacle. And hardening the grid was/is a "shovel ready" job which could have energized the economy while perhaps saving our nation.
It doesn't even have to be a bad actor with a nuke to put out our lights forever: a good-sized solar flare could do it. The fact that we HAVEN'T made hardening our grid a priority is nightmarishly stupid.
Much more to say, but let me take a look at the font situation first.
@Readers- Okay, I've made some tweaks to the site that will hopefully make things easier to read. Different fonts, a lighter background, and "all bold all the time!"
Let me know how you like the new look and if there are any other changes you'd like to see. Outside of more Busty Ross, which I will take as a given.
And speaking of EMPs, all of y'all should also look into protecting your stuff with Faraday cages. This will provide the best protection. Look it up. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Faraday_cage.
And the font issue is better. Now I won't have nose prints on my monitor.
Much improved, on the read-ability front!
Thanks!
Now, if you could just make it BIGGER (ok, *I* can do that w/ the 'zoom' button on the browser...)
@Stilton - thanks for making some style changes. I'm wondering - is is possible to see how it looks using a sans-serif font instead of the current one? The text looks really... dense to me now. I have no idea how much control you're given over stuff like that on Blogger. Thanks again.
@Fred Ciampi- I keep meaning to get/build a Faraday cage. Although I'm not sure what good it will do me to have a functioning iPad (until the battery runs out) when my neighbors turn to cannibalism.
@Pete (Detroit) & TxGreg- Okay, I'm trying a sans serif font with a slightly larger size...and still making "bold" the default setting. Howzit look?
Personally, I find the sans serif font easier to read than the previous one. I'm not a big fan of the boldface, but I'll happily defer to those who do. Thanks Stilton!
I liked the previous format more than the all-bold roman. But that's just me, apparently.
Looks like Gorsuch is acing his hearings. The Democrats don't know how to get him without further beclownment of themselves.
Power grid.... For all that is screwed up about Sweden, most of their utilities are underground. I've often wondered why we have not slowly and methodically moved toward that. Yes, the Swedes pay horrendous taxes, but we could do it if our gubmint placed this as a higher priority than, say, protecting Europe or giving free shit to illegals and lazy people. How's about we protect US!
@John the Econ,
I can almost hear the gnashing of Democrat teeth when they are confronted with the likes of Gorsuch. Funny that they backed him 100% when he was appointed to the 10th Circuit, and now are faced with constant reminders of that. This is all about revenge for the Senate's rejection of Obammy's guy, and it borders on hilarious watching them trying to come up with legitimate reasons to reject Gorsuch.
I really loved it when some libtard (forget who)said Gorsuch was a bad choice because he is an originalist. Isn't originalism the whole point of having a Supreme Court? If we stray from the most basic of law, we are screwed, and the lower courts are all over the planet on opinions that may or may not pass the Constitution test.
Great so see you back on the air Stilton! I just dropped by at the old site in passing, so here I am.
Kim Jong-Lardass is no real threat to anybody, he's just a big fat* blowhard. If he really goes over the line he'll get a shower of Tomahawks going through various front doors in Pyongyang at which time he'll be exterminated by his own people.
* Notice that the little fat bugger is the only one carrying any weight in Nork? Everyone else looks totally skeletal.
Laughed aloud
I take it we will see more of that Middle Panel. So many uses
