Despite competition from young Democrat upstarts in the House of Representatives, Nancy Pelosi has forcefully and successfully reclaimed the title of "Most Vile Woman in Washington."
We say this based on the little dog-and-pony show she staged with Chuck "Does Scowling Make Me Look Smart?" Schumer rather than getting the nation's business done. They were supposed to take a meeting with President Trump to discuss a spending plan to rebuild our nation's crumbling infrastructure (an idea with broad bipartisan support), but immediately beforehand, Nancy attended a well-publicized meeting with other foaming-at-the-mouth Democrats to discuss impeaching the President.
After which she paused on her way to the White House to tell reporters that Trump was engaged in a cover-up because his staff is no longer responding to the unending subpoenas from Jerry "Look, I Can Bite My Belt Buckle" Nadler for private documents, financial information, and testimony related to, well, nothing.
Understandably, once the meeting commenced it only took Trump three minutes to show Nancy and Chuck the door, after which he told the press that the Democrats can investigate him or work with him, but not both at the same time. Which sounds reasonable to us.
Pelosi had her own version of events, later saying/slurring: "Thomas Jefferson tasked his Secretary of the Treasure to put forth an infrastructure proposal, initiative for the country. It would follow the Lewis and Clark expedition (trivia note: Pelosi still has a dress in her closet with Clark's DNA on it), the Louisiana purchase, it would be about the Erie Canal, the Cumberland road, things like that to build in America.
For some reason, maybe it was lack of confidence on this part, that he really couldn't match the greatness of the challenge that we have, he just took a pass. And it just makes me wonder why he did that." Yeah, it's a puzzler alright.
It was at this point that the contents of Nancy's flask really kicked in, and she started opining that Trump is really angry because he wants to be impeached, but Nancy won't accommodate his bizarre wish because it would be "a very divisive place to go in our country." Presumably, even if we took the Cumberland road.
Instead, she suggests that the clearly disturbed Trump take a "leave of absence," or that "his family or his staff should have an intervention for the good of the country."
Keep this nonsense up, Democrats, and you will by God get an intervention for the good of the country.
ON AN ENTIRELY UNRELATED NOTE...
After reflecting on Speaker Pelosi's inflammatory rhetoric and the Democrats' unceasing harassment of the President (with plenty of help from mainstream media), the only way we could regain emotional equilibrium was by watching this video of things being crushed into pulp by a powerful industrial grinder.
But what made this so particularly pleasing is that we just learned that President Trump has ordered all intelligence agencies to fully cooperate with Barr's investigation into the fake Russian collusion accusations...AND given Barr the personal authority to declassify any and all documents related to the case.
In other words, some very big names may soon be going into Barr's grinder.

Wasn't that Hillary's server going in the grinder towards the beginning of the video?
Pelosi is so great they should name something in San Francisco after her. How about the Pelosi Memorial Sewer Plant.
You Tube has a plethora of shredding videos that are very entertaining and informative. My faves are the ones that render whole cars (engines, trans, etc.)into bite size pieces. Maybe AG Barr should have a couple of these installed at the DOJ for when the perps walk the plank to their demise. Could be even better than "Celebrity Deathmatch". What dreams may come...........
So that is what happened to my bicycle, I thought it had been stolen. My favorites are the ones that do trees, from cutting, trimming sizing and stacking. Like in about less than a minute. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nuuPI2hyt6M
Meanwhile, there is something seriously wrong with Pelosi. In my opinion she has no idea what she is doing or saying. Schumer is a different story, he knows exactly what he is doing. He lets her lead so he has plausible deniability. President Trump will again come out of this unscathed. I think here is what will happen: Congress gets some of his tax returns and leak them. He will have the DOJ and FBI set up a investigation and it will accidentally cover more than the returns and maybe even inquire about Pelosi's returns.
Just a reminder my friends -Memorial Day is for those of us no longer here .....we have other days for those of us who are alive ..........don't rush us ..... : )
Notice everyone, the howling mob is now beginning to use much the say tag words as were used during Watergate?
Don't suppose there's a pattern there? Nah, couldn't be.
I believe the howling mob will pull the impeachment trigger after 2020, with the bet being they will have regained control of the Senate.
And all of this was put into motion, and perhaps still aided and abetted by one of the most truly sinister and evil public figures in our history. If only, I think I'd better stop here..
great video...we should send a couple of those grinding devices to congress, although they might have a difficult time grinding all the bs.
@Michael: didn't they name all of the piles of human excrement popping up on San Fran's streets after her? Or was she named after them. Can't recall....
I love those grinders. When I was a sales manager I had the opportunity to make a call on one of their plants where the shredder is made. The engineering is top notch and just watching the videos is what I call engineering porn. Mmmmmmmmmmmm, pornnnnn. But I digress.
And thank God that President Trump has the intelligence to see through anuty nan's little games.
It's hard to know where this will end up, but it's for sure it will get worse before it gets better. I feel bad for the close family of these idiots. They have to endure this lunacy.
It's still early, but that's the best response I've heard in awhile.
Promised a Chick-Fil-A lunch? LOL, no wonder old Fish-eye Clyburn was hanging around.
I am starting to believe that Pelosi's apparent senility is a planned act so as to give her an excuse and to garner sympathy if and when Barr's investigation turns towards her and her multitude of illegal and traitorous undertakings.
Many on the left must be terrified at this point, and will surely start throwing each other under the bus at a rapid rate.
Here's to hoping Barr actually does his job correctly and is granted huge amounts of security and personal body guards.
Sadly, I believe the King Cockroaches will escape from the light, wedging themselves into cracks safe from the light of these revelations. I would be pleasantly surprised to find out this isn't the case this time.
I hearken back to the industrial grinders into which Saddam, Uday, and Qusay laughingly fed their political opponents. For the sake of decorum and to keep the black Suburbans out of my driveway, I believe I will leave the rest to the imagination.
I'm ready for Pelosi, Schmucky Schumer, Billary, Shiff, Nadler and Max Maxine (and a host of others too numerous to name) be put on a very slow boat to China, never to be seen or heard again. I wonder what scheme they will dream up after Trump crushes them in 2020.
@Shelly: Actually, I believe that lot would feel quite at home in China..
@Fish: Having lived through the circus called Watergate which only proved the power of the press I believe the current MSM, etc. is trying to relive past triumphs but are too stupid to pull it off. Yeah, I see a pattern.
I for one love it when our pols squabble. They always talk about "getting back to do the work that they were elected by the American people to do." Which is interesting, because I never cast a vote for anyone to keep taxing me to fuel the growth of the Federal government. So pleas, keep fighting.
Buried beneath the teen drama taking place in the media, I think everyone is missing the real story: Less than 10% of the trillion dollars they are proposing to spend has anything to do with legitimate "infrastructure". In reality, their bill is a sequel of Obama's "shovel ready stimulus" scam that they played on America a decade ago.
In other words, when the Democrats say they want to invest in America's crumbling infrastructure, what they're saying is "...only as long as you let us dump 1000-times more on our crony interests."
No thanks. This is the kind of crap people elected Trump to stop.
As for impeachment: What's stopping them? They can start proceedings any time they like. If they think they've got the goods and votes to do it, THEN DO IT!
Chickens!
@John the Econ et al: SHOVEL READY: Ten years back with the "Shovel-Ready" farce: When the call for a listing of such projects (in anticipation of a bunch of new cash coming from the Feds) I was in a position in state employment to propose additional work that really would have vastly expedited the complex technical path to true "Shovel-Readiness" for many key infrastructure projects across the state. It would have been funds very well spent and highly leveraged for the state. The idea to list this work got nowhere; and when I asked about that I was told "No one in key review positions could understand what I was talking about." Well OK. It was fairly new high technology that we were already using very successfully and it had been well-explained to all but idiots. Or might they have asked? Our group had been doing that same new thing for about two years; getting good results properly reporting about it; and were eventually awarded a high recognition for it. Lesson Learned: Too many elected leaders & mid-management "positions" don't know what is going on; nor how to do anything; and there's safety in not actually doing much of anything. I guess they were wanting to see pictures of cad-plated shovels stuck in the ground.
Perhaps we should first see the financial records of those 'serving' in Congress. The fish smell is strong in that group.
I guess what amuses me about this 47 ring circus is Nan trying desperately to get the narrative in the House off impeachment because she knows the Dims will take a huge hit when it bombs (and bomb it will), and that makes Trump even stronger. There is no step they can take after it bombs, and as dingy as Nan is, she knows this.
@Fish,
I think the howling mob is divided into two categories. The first is the group like Maxine Wawa, Jew Hater Tlaib, and Sheila Lee Ja-hack-son who want to vote on impeachment TOMORROW because they are actually stupid enough to think it will ruin Trump. The second group knows that impeachments will bomb and boost Trump, but they still want to howl to keep their names in the headlines for election time. Poor widdle Pelosi is caught in the middle, and it makes me giggle and snigger like a maniac.
BTW - Nan and Chuckie sort of remind me of a sad version of Diamond and Silk. One does all the talking, and the other just stands there going, "Uh huh! Say it sister! You right!" My sincere apologies to Diamond and Silk!
@John the Econ,
I fear that as well. Our power grid is straight out of 1890 (still above ground), we have unsafe bridges and roads, our ability to stop hackers is laughable. So when a bunch of DC'ers start taking about spending trillions, you know damn well many, many pockets WILL be lined. Although, it had occurred to me that Trump could stick full border wall funding in there, which would either fully fund the wall, or make the whole damn thing go down in flames.
First: Look at what Trump has built in his lifetime! See how many jobs he has provided. To say he has no idea how to build something is just plain wrong. I know the demorats get away with lying all the time, but say he is incapable of understanding how to build infrastructure is beyond the pale. They really are losing it.
Second: As far as this "infrastructure"pending: Didn't we just do that with mobama's stimulus? $800 billion supposedly for infrastructure. Why do we need another $2 trillion dollars now when we just did that 10 years ago? (Rhetorical question. We did not actually build anything with the stimulus money.)
Wut?
Looks like a beautiful way to shred computer boards etc. for chemical extraction of gold.
@Lee The Voice -- Scaled down, its also a good way to destroy hard drives thereby preventing HIPAA violations. Our hospital network guy was able to convince our chief of admin that paying 40 grand for a hard-drive shredder was a lot cheaper than fines & lawsuits for HIPAA violations in case a hard drive escaped into the wild when decommissioning computers.
@Rod, just look at half, no most of the Democratic front-runners. Almost all of them are failures at anything of substance, if not life. Bernie Sanders was an unemployable bum before he became a mayor. Beto's entire resume is about failure. His chief qualification to run for President is that he lost to Ted Cruz? How about Spacey Abrams? What is she qualified to do?
These are the people who think they can change the weather and replace our reliable power sources with windmills and solar panels. They can't even balance their own checkbooks. This is why the founders advocated for less government, not more.
@Colby Muenster, the section of interstate that passes by my town is a potholed mess. Before the next elections, I want to put up a billboard that says:
They can't even manage pavement. What makes you think they can manage your health care?
@Dan, know what destroys hard drives even better and is something you already have on site? MRI machines.
@M. Mitchell Marmel- I wouldn't be surprised!
@Michael- Well, she has done a lot to make people more aware of San Francisco's sewage...
@Regnad Kcin- I really wasn't joking when I said I had to watch a grinding video because I was so honked off about Pelosi and the Dems. I didn't actually picture them literallygoing into the hopper, but metaphorically? Absolutely.
@james daily- I would LOVE to see an investigation into Pelosi's finances. For that matter, how about a "Fiscal Transparency Act" that makes all tax records of elected officials available for public inspection? Now that would be fun!
@REM1875- Too many people confuse Veterans Day with Memorial Day, though I think they mean well (sigh). I didn't mention Memorial Day on the blog today because I'll be making a post on Monday.
@Fish Out of Water- At this point, it's hard to imagine the Dems won't try an impeachment action, based on nothing more than their dislike of Trump and his (ahem) "eccentricities."
@tambourine man- To cope with all of Washington's BS, we're going to need way more than a "couple" of those grinders.
@Emmentaler "Shithead" Limburger- I believe the human fecal matter is referred to as "Nancy Peloshit."
@Fred Ciampi- Those grinders have to be preposterously well made. And I like the term "engineering porn."
@Angus ranch- Yep, "worse before it gets better" is my best guess.
@The Italian Meat Sauce- Well, the early word gets the, uh...
@Anonymous- For whatever reason, I was imagining the stacks of Chick-fil-A sandwiches that Trump had for visiting college athletes. Frankly, Chuck and Nancy don't deserve Chick-fil-A.
@Geoff King- I don't think Nancy is faking her brain farts. And please, please, please let Barr's investigation turn into the Great Swamp Draining we've all been waiting for!
@Anonymous- You're probably right, but hope springs eternal. Especially for slow learners like myself.
@TrickyRicky- Ever since I worked in a Ford manufacturing plant with giant machines that could crush you in about half a second, I've thought that this should be considered as a humane method of implementing capital punishment. Pretty sure it would have a good deterrent effect, too.
@Shelly- Personally, I want to see the lot of them in Guantanamo.
@Fish Out of Water- Or maybe North Korea?
@Judi King- When you accuse the MSM of stupidity, I think we're all in agreement.
I don't care to see Smellosi and Chuck the Schmuck put into a shredder a la Saddam. Much rather see them "breaking rocks in the hot sun" apologies to Bobby Fuller four
@Bill from Wood-Ridge- I agree! When the pols are busy attacking each other, it leaves the rest of the country free to run efficiently and prosperously.
@John the Econ- I wasn't really aware what was in the bill, but if it's indeed just another way to throw money at political allies and special interest groups (which I don't doubt for a moment) then let it die.
@Rod- Great (albeit depressing) story. Reminds me of the Peter Principle, which I believe in: that people keep advancing upward until they reach a position in which they're incompetent...and they're stuck there. Which is why there's so much incompetence at seemingly high levels.
@Doug- I SO want that!
@Colby Muenster- I agree; I think Pelosi knows that an actual impeachment proceeding would absolutely galvanize voters for Trump, including those who are on the fence about him but are sick of this political chicanery.
@udaman- You're right on both your points - it's ludicrous for Pelosi to suggest that Trump is afraid to take on big building projects, and Obama's $800 billion for "shovel ready jobs" didn't build anything. After which he had the gall to tell the rest of the country that was being productive "you didn't build that!"
@ringgo1- You left out "...the f*ck?"
@Lee The Voice- I would imagine that a lot of hard drives belonging to Trump's enemies are going into such grinders even now.
@Dan- Your network guy was right. Plus, it's probably entertaining for the staffers to play "will it grind?" on breaks.
@John the Econ- Good remarks across the board.
@sergio- I agree. Sentence them to turn big rocks into little ones. Nancy can use her gavel.
@Stilton- So would that be a gavel-ready job? Making gravel with her gavel?
@TrickyRicky: Catchy phrasing, but making gravel with her gavels could use up a lot of wood and craftmanship. But she'll OK in the joint; just the sound of the old biddy talking can break rocks.
Running a 6 inch auger line from Congress into the Potomic River, the means for dispensing with those of Pelosi's ilk has been accomplished. Just throw them into that industrial strength shredder, living or dead, and feed the fish little pieces of Congress critters. Not very nutritious, but very handy. Hint: I wouldn't eat any fish from that river for a long time.
