Only You Can Prevent Dumpster Fires

stilton’s place, stilton, political, humor, conservative, cartoons, jokes, hope n’ change, biden, senile, idiot, pause, bear

Based on the above, humorless Joe may be thinking about asking Kristi Noem to give Smokey Bear a personal tour of her favorite gravel pit. Although the likelihood that he's capable of thinking about anything other than ice cream time and poopy time (which is frequently the same time) is diminishingly small.

As are the odds that the world is going to turn saner anytime soon. Let's see, we still have Trump on trial for things that aren't crimes, colleges in chaos owing to demonstrations in support of anti-Semitic terror, Boeing whistleblowers dying mysteriously (meaning by causes other than standing under the flight paths of disintegrating Boeing aircraft), multiple fronts for possible nuclear war, Bird flu threatening to end mankind (and news about mRNA vaccines perhaps making the birds' efforts redundant) and, saddest of all, we've still got over a month to wait before "Deadpool & Wolverine" hits the theaters.

Which is why it's so important for each of us to occasionally take a deep breath and let go of our stress. Or, as this pillow from Amazon Vine suggests...

And really, shouldn't we all try to be more Hom Enow? Personally, I've been able to find some ongoing escape and enjoyment by fiddling about in the world of AI music generation. Because when we express ourselves in song, we speak in the voice of angels...

She was doing something right or they thought she could be a Ron Paul lite?
Or just a case of stepping in it in the age of drooling hive borg social media?

She should just call it a 'post partum abortion' and watch the fun start.

Yes, all of that. Very well put, I don't know how history will view Biden's term but there is plenty of YGBSM - palm on temple wide eyed horror facial expressions on how bad these years have been. Fruity Pebble Kidney Stones indeed.

Your baby sounds neat. I'd like to meet her.

So Trump is a Russian agent and Satan incarnate, but this contrived crap is the best the apparatchiks of the Democratic party can charge him with? Everyone not addicted to BSNBC and the rest can see through it. It's a massive backfire by the left in that it has only fired up Trump's base while earning absolutely no votes whatsoever for Biden.

Boeing: If I didn't know better, I'd suspect that Hillary must have joined their board.

And don't forget the TB outbreak in California. Good work, Mayorkas & Newsom! Maybe it will be a TB pandemic that will get everyone to mask up and stay home again come November.

Meanwhile, Biden continues his mission to literally buy every single vote in the country. With our own inflated money.

If I'm going to relax, I'm going to need something stronger.

Get Kristi Noem up there & packing heat; that's the ticket.

Her critics are showing their political asses yet again.

20 years ago kind of far back to go. MAYBE THE MORE RECENT REORD COULD BE OF INTEREST?
BUT LET'S NOT LOOK AT BIDEN'S IDIOCY FOR 45 YEARS & current crooked traitor or clown show

Her actions; her business alone; Entirely legal, safely, the Dakotas, with a sometimes vicious dog? She did not pawn the problem off on others, nor the hazard. Good woman.

@John the Econ: "If I'm going to relax, I'm going to need something stronger."Might I suggest some Roku Gin? It works for me.

@Fish, is that like Victory Gin?

I can get under that pillow!

As gins go, it's an excellent choice.

Give Elephant gin out of Wittenberg Germany a try. Nice African botanicals.

Fundy Gin...anything that has dulse as one of the botanicals and is passed over genuine Fundy beach stones after each distillation can't be bad ;)

I see no way in hell the Dims are gonna follow through with Gropey as their guy. I also can't imagine who the hell they have in mind as a replacement. Methinks most of the country is fed up with this left wing crap, so the Dims need a moderate. Those don't exist anymore in the democrap party.

I see it this way: Joe gets re-elected, then immediately resigns for health reasons. Kamala appoints Newsome to be VP, then they shitcan Kamala somehow. Badda boom! We get the libtard equivalent of Gerald Ford.

Gin? Gag. It's gotta be whiskey or better yet whisky.

John the Econ said...

@Colby Muenster, I agree. For the better part of a year now I've been convinced that they have a last-minute plan to swap sleepy-Joe for someone else. (Not Kamala) It will be late in the game so that there won't be much time for anyone to react in any material way, and the Democrats will vote for that person because Trump. I'm thinking it will be a block of wood.

And it won't be Newsom. Newsom can run all the "California is awesome (for rich people)" ads they want, but nobody is buying it.

(I've literally done everything in that ad about California, decades ago in my 20s. Doubt I could afford to today)

@John the Econ,

True, the Democraps want to get rid of The Cackler as much as they want to dump Gropey, but how do you dump two losers at once? True about pretty pretty Gavin, too. So who? Mooch? She says nope; hates politics. Tim (God forbid) Kaine? Maybe Sherrod Brown, since it looks like he may get his ass handed to him in Ohio?

But.... will Bobby Kennedy be the spoiler?

John the Econ said...

@Colby Muenster, I have no idea. Whatever they do, it will have to be a hail mary move that will shock enough non-women to vote Democrat out of desperation before actually thinking about it.

Meanwhile, I noticed this morning that my news feed had an disproportionate number of "climate" stories. Poll after poll says that on any list of 100 concerns of most voters, "the climate crisis" is somewhere around 864. My guess is that it's an effort to crowd out the number of unavoidable energy policy failure stories currently in the news, like Ford announcing that they're going to ration ICE cars in Britain if they're going to be made to pay fines for not selling enough EVs that few actually want. Or Germany's continued transition from the economic powerhouse of Europe to a 2nd tier country.

The 800 pound gorilla in the room is that Progressive policy has been a disaster for the electorate. That explains the organized-by-outsiders Gaza protests. To overcome the reality, the orchestrated distractions will have to get louder and louder.

mamafrog said...

@John the Econ - Just read a poll yesterday that the graduating classes at these universities where the protests are was an absolute "meh" from the kids. In the listings it was dead last. So much for getting students involved even though Georgie is paying for the protests.

John the Econ said...

@mamafrog, just as was the case when I was in school 40 years ago and decades before that, this is the work of the vocal minority. The "normals" couldn't care less about Gaza. Probably less than they care about "the climate crisis". Which begs the question: What is the point that Soros and his ilk are paying for?

None of this helps Democrats at all. In fact, if anything, it's repelling mainstream Democrat voters. It would seem to benefit law-and-order Republicans, the few that remain anyway.

mamafrog said...

@John the Econ - I suspect you are right. Maybe he's just trying to confuse the heck out of everyone? He's succeeding at that, frankly. Unless he finally came down with dementia?

Brian Wilson was just placed in a conservatorship.

When is Biden getting his much-needed conservatorship?

John the Econ said...

@mamafrog, I suspect it's the only game they have: When we won the cold war and communism was finally recognized by most as the failure that it was, the left needed something new. By the 21st century, free markets had reduced poverty on a global scale to the lowest in all of human history. In urban centers, at least Progressive leaders of previous generations could manage cities to some degree. Today, they are a disaster.

The left needs distractions from all of this abject failure. So they foment racial and sexual strife and try to divide citizens as much as possible. This isn't going to get many votes, but the less they can get people to forget our successes and focus on largely contrived failures, they're still better off.

Sad about Brian Wilson, but hardly a surprise for anyone whos seen any interview with him in recent decades. He was a musical genius in his era. Sad to think that Brian is no less qualified to run the country than Joe is.
