Both the Democrat and Republican national conventions ended with fireworks displays which replicated the excitement, dynamism, and energy of each event. For those who didn't experience either display, just imagine the difference between a wet fart and the 1812 Overture.
And while fireworks certainly don't tell the whole story (especially when the talking heads on mainstream media were wildly offended by seeing the White House used in a political way for the very, very, very first time ever), one candidate is still putting the "fuse" in "confused"...

Energy and flare for the Democrat Convention was supposed to have been provided by a full corps of Antifa and BLM rioters. But they were otherwise engaged...
Biden supporters set off some M-80 firecrackers to celebrate. Or, as they were known when Joe was a kid, M-1's!
"..wet fart.."
That neatly sums up my feelings about the democratic 2020 ticket.
I WAS gonna make a Joe Isuzu joke, but you need some working brain cells to lie amusingly.
I am just going to go ahead and assume the 1810 Overture remark is a Bidenism reference I just don't get rather than assume our host made a horrible mistake. Yeah, that's the ticket.
He mighta meant PDQ Bach's 1712 Overture... ;-)

I am hoping that the cameras are running and the microphones are hot some day before the election when Joe Biden has that one, last, lucid moment when everything that's happened in the past eighteen months becomes crystal clear, just before he rockets off into deep space, never to return to Reality. I want to see the look on his face, I want to here what he has to say. It's going to be EPIC, and it will never happen again.
@Readers- D'oh! The reference to the 1810 Overture was a flat out mistake, meaning the "wet fart" was apparently between my ears. I've corrected it in the blog post and will give serious thought to the irony of my mocking anyone else's slipping mental faculties (grin).
The 1810 Overture is only two measures short of the 1812!
@MMM: I thought the 1712 Overture needed more cowbell.
@Velveeta: And more balloons. :)
Nicely done friend
Wait until you see the fireworks on the night of November 3 when it is announced that Donald J. Trump has won re-election in a landslide. Well.. I sure hope and pray that's what we hear. The millions of liberal's heads exploding will make the nomination fireworks look like a dry popcorn fart.
@Murphy(AZ),
"...Joe Biden has that one, last, lucid moment." I'm afraid you may end up disappointed. I somehow suspect Joe's final lucid moment happened years ago.
@Colby,
Read this and be worried:

The Demo_Rats are already planning to cheat and win with pre-positioned bags and bags and bags of mail-in votes, with 100%--and more--votes for Gropey Joe and Kamalatoe. Even if Joe "wins", he won't be President. Neither will Kamalatoe. They both know it and don't care. Their puppet masters will reward them handsomely, until they no longer need them, and then Gropey Joe and Kamalatoe will get an all-expenses-paid trip to the gulag and will never be heard from again.
had fifteen minutes of face time with him in vegas convention when he was a senator. for a dem he was a astute and sharp mind with typical dem attitude, all that I expected of him.
this guy. this is not the joe biden I met. this is a shell filled with cockroaches between the ears. there is little left of him. his family should have talked him out of this course, but they probably have their own interest to look to. perhaps, his wife believes she would be a beautiful first lady like mooshell was. the queens new clothes and all that. to be kind, they may not be bad people but certainly short sighted.
@capt fast,
Don't bother trying to be kind; they ARE bad people. Gropey Joe didn't become rich by being a good guy.
