Mother's Day has come and gone, and many of you are probably still reeling from the dirty looks Mom gave you after receiving only a Hallmark card and a drugstore gift. This was the woman who carried you for nine months! This was the woman who was willing to have sex with your father in hopes of someday having a thoughtful child. But she got you.

You got me excited with your mention of Vine but, alas, it was not the video sharing service that old Twitter bought and killed. There were some truly brilliant 7 or 8 second videos made along with a lot of crap. My small town has a used tire place that's been around longer than I've lived here and the word is that Dean is retiring. I suspect the business will go kaput following his retirement. I just can't imagine today's Tik Tok-addicted youth wanting to make a living selling used tires.
'Retreads' used to be common and I've bought some myself but about the only people that buy them now are trucking companies so they can explode at highway speeds and maybe take out a few small cars in the process. Funny how the one vehickle that shouldn't be running on used tires is the only one that does.
Not only next Mothers day but, Christmas is coming.

Open Question: Does anyone here know what's been going on last several days, week or more with Diogenes' Middle Finger blog and Diogenes Sarcastica? It doesn't look good and I hope is not long term. Maybe a needed break?
