This is a woman who lied her ass off about the Benghazi nightmare, and then went on to be instrumental in the "outing" of individuals who were caught up in the illegal surveillance of people surrounding Donald Trump. She doesn't even deserve a first class prison cell, let alone a high-paying job in which she can inject more of her lies into the nation's bloodstream.
We like Netflix, subscribe to Netflix and, thanks to a fortunate stock purchase, have Netflix to thank for the best part of our retirement funds.
But if they're going to keep up this nonsense, we'll have no problem dumping their service and sticking with the programming on Amazon Prime. Unless, of course, Amazon hires Hillary.
PAPAL BULLETIN
In a surprise announcement (to put it mildly), Pope Francis is alleged to have declared to a journalist that "there is no Hell," and that sinful souls actually just disappear. Perhaps with their soulful feet embedded in a wash tub of cement which is dropped to the bottom of the river Styx.
We should note that the Pope didn't say that last part, although we feel pretty solidly that it's implied.
The Vatican has subsequently released a statement suggesting that the Pope's remarks may have been misconstrued, as an official lack of eternal punishment in Hell might lead some folks (Progressives, for instance) to more fully indulge in their numerous bad habits.
Our take on this is that the Pope is simply aware that Easter and April Fool's Day fall on the same day this year (for the first time in 847 years), and he's making the most of it with a gag which people will have all eternity to laugh about...or regret.
In any case, we wish a sincere Happy Easter to the faithful among us...and encourage others not to use the Pope's pronouncement as an excuse to cause more Hell on Earth.

This Pope sure makes a lot of remarks that are misconstrued.
Oh how did we get a Liberation Theology Jesuit from a leftist country to be Il Papa?
Maybe he can be appointed to the Netflix board so he can be among his fellows (or fellow travelers).
My idea of Hell would be having the Clintstones, pumped full of No-Doz, chained to a dungeon wall while Chuckie Schumer recites excerpts from his manifesto and recipes from a Betty Crocker cookbook. Then have Susan Rice lie about it............
Don't do Netflix. Pissed at TripAdvisor and others abandoning a conservative program over the ravings of big left wing money to prop up this nasty juvenile as the "real thing.
Well Well. No Hell. So the Pope is saying that there is no need for church, or confessions or Saints or even literature. His choice. Now, one of my favorite expletives is no more, I cannot tell X to go to hell. That hurts.
However, my thoughts have always been if there is no afterlife, there is no point to this one. So if I cannot tell all these lying conniving thieving murderous politician they have nothing to worry about, Karma doesn't exist, maybe I do not exist either.
NO HELL? He needs to spend some time with my ex--he'll be singing a different tune ....
I'll have no problem dumping Netflix. Now I'll have to inspect the corporate structure of any company I invest in for signs of progressive stupidity.
I'm a lifelong Catholic, so, this is not just fodder for jokes. This is a serious matter.
I'm generally willing to give non-Native English speakers some slack, as I do non-official statements (as in interviews). Nuances are lost on generally secular reporters, so...
But, I'm starting to worry.
Pity the Vatican doesn't walk away from his claims about global warming, fed to him by atheist John Schellnhuber of the German Potsdam Institute and Jeffrey Sachs of Columbia U.
I am not a Catholic but have always respected and loved the previous Popes that were in office, in my lifetime, until now. How any Christian can listen to the rantings of this idiot is beyond me. How did this person become the spokesman for over a billion people worldwide is a mystery to me. He has "progressive" views on just about every topic.
A blessed Easter to all .
The bitter, delusional, carpet-bagging former Senator from NY, twice-failed POTUS candidate and avaricious, pathological, serial liar and venal grifter has now played the gender card, saying in a recent 'speech' that she is being told to 'shut up'because she is a woman.

@Dan- Although I don't follow his pronouncements religiously (pun mostly unintended) it does seem like Francis leans awfully far to the Left, and too frequently lets politics outweigh theology.
@Regnad Kcin- Somewhere, Dante is spinning in grave because you've presented a more dramatic vision of Hell than he did.
@S. B. Sweeney- I was glancing over the list of companies that have dumped Laura Ingraham with boycotting in mind; so far there's no one I regularly do business with anyway...but I'm keeping an eye on her remaining sponsors.
@James Daily- I observed to Mrs. J that Hell is rather like the Obamacare mandate...when removed from the picture, the rest of the system falls apart. I don't personally believe in an afterlife, though I have great respect for people who do. And I certainly wish Karma was in effect; the notion that true evil can go unpunished is a hard pill to swallow.
@REM1875- I think a lot of people have experienced Hell (or something very like it) in their corporeal lives.
@Jim Irre- I'm not dumping Netflix yet because I mostly use them as a conduit for content created by others. But if Barry and his minions become more prominent on the service, I'll skedaddle.
@Linda Fox- As I understand it, the interviewer in question was a 93 year old atheist Italian leftist. So certainly a lot could be lost in translation, if not deliberate misrepresentation. It will be interesting to see if the Pope issues any clarifications one way or the other.
@DennisA- I agree. The Pope doesn't help his credibility by embracing the global warming claptrap.
@Judi King- The interview from which the "quote" was drawn is titled: "The Pope: It is an honor to be called revolutionary." Well, no - not necessarily. Revolution is simply an action; whether it's good or bad depends entirely on the underlying ideology.
@Fish Out of Water- Hillary is being told to "shut up" by the Left because she's going to hurt their candidates in the midterms. She's being told to "shut up" by the Right not because she's a woman, but because she's a loathsome human being with a supremely annoying voice.
She said "They ain't no hell". He said "The hell they ain't".
When the great grand kids come over Sunday I'm going to let then find the eggs that I hid last Easter that they didn't find then.
The present Pope is causing more folks to defect than Martin Luther.
@ Stilton: That the bitter, delusional, carpet-bagging former Senator from NY, twice-failed POTUS candidate and avaricious, pathological, serial liar and venal grifter is loathsome is not open to debate. However, there are some doubts here about if the term 'human being' is appropriate.
There most certainly is a Hell. It is about 15 miles from Ann Arbor, Michigan and it currently is frozen over.

Let's not forget another couple of liberal ass-hats in senior management positions. Al Gore, Jr. is a long-time member of Apple Inc's. Board of Directors, and Obama EPA appointee, Lisa Jackson, is VP-"Environment, Policy and Social Initiatives," or whatever. If the company wasn't such a cash cow, I'd sell the stock in an instant and maybe throw my iPhone in the Milwaukee River.
In regard to how we got the current pontif, the book The Dictator Pope by Marcantonio Colonna fills in much of the backstory.
I just voted my proxy ballot from Lockheed Martin. They've got Jeh Johnson on there! WTF? Of course I voted against, for what good that will do. Sheesh.
I canceled Netflix yesterday. I'm done.
Sunday is a double-double day for me:
1) Easter
2) General Conference (LDS church)
3) My birthday
4) My 65th birthday
I'm gonna sleep in, y'all.
On another note, The BSA put the weasel Chief Scout Executive Michael Surbaugh in charge - he couldn't find his way out of a whorehouse. What part of "Morally Straight" doesn't the Executive Board understand?!? (It's a pet peeve of mine.)
As for the Pope? Total loss.
@Steve in WI, every year when voting my Apple shares, I vote against Al Gore. It never works but I hope it sends a little statement to the company.
As far as Netflix goes, this is going to have to be one of the many instances where I have to hold my nose and continue to watch. As a retiree, television is one of my main forms of entertainment and if I boycotted every entertainment company because of the liberals behind or in front of the camera, I wouldn't have anything to watch. Of course, I don't watch Colbert, Kimmel and the like and I won't watch anything with the odious Sean Penn but I choose to use selective boycotting. Sometimes you just have to compartmentalize.
As a former Catholic, I am distressed over this current pope. At first, he seemed to be a "man of the people," but it has become apparent over time that he is a serious Marxist, who seems to value social justice over Catholic dogma. This latest brouhaha surely reflects that. I hope it was a misinterpretation of his remarks, because that comment goes to the heart of church doctrine and not in a good way.
There has been something very wrong about Netflix for a long time. There is hardly a 'Netflix Original' that isn't a platform for virtue signaling.
Fried Rice: Actually, as a shareholder of Nutflix you have an extra bit of influence over this by your proxy vote, and even by showing up at their next shareholder meeting. I'm sure you can figure out a creative way to express your displeasure regarding the direction the company has been taking of late in its determination to be the new leader in the production of Progressive agitprop. And since it's part of your retirement plan, you have added incentive to do so, because I seriously doubt that Obama/Rice inspired content is going to be particularly profitable for Netflix any more than the Obama/Rice agenda was particularly profitable for the country over 8 years.
I guess I'm old enough to remember when "big business" was considered de-facto "evil" by the Progressive left. And yet today, most of these Progressive heroes are rewarded with seats on the boards of big business. It's one of the Progressive successes of the Clinton era, which not only made being a rich Progressive socially acceptable, but profitable as well.
Papal Bull: It turns out that the Pope's supposed announcement that there is no hell was fake news that was picked up by most of the Progressive MSM for the usual reason: It's something they wish was true.
@Fish Out of Water, I'm certain that she'd like to take back a whole lot of things she said. Things she'd done? Not so much. And as @Stilton said, she's being told to shut up more by what is left of the Democratic party, and for the fact that never before in history has a failed candidate spent so much time and energy in public blaming everybody in sight for her loss, other than herself.
