Old Face-Full

stilton’s place, stilton, political, humor, conservative, cartoons, jokes, hope n’ change, biden, election, mask, mandate, finger sucking, veterans day

While it's still unclear whether or not Joe Biden will be certified as the president-elect, it's absolutely clear that he intends to issue a mask mandate if given the opportunity. And while we think that wearing masks is a good idea...the idea of it being a mandate from the Dems boils our blood.

Happily, we can all practice good hygiene and patriotism with the exciting new Stilton's Place "Biden Sucks" surgical mask! It not only slows the transmission of infectious phlegm (not to be confused with mainstream news, although the differences are admittedly slight) but reminds everyone that the man who now claims to be an expert in disease control enjoys slobbering on women's fingers in public without first getting written consent.

VETERANS DAY 2020

(This commentary is from 2010, but our sentiments and gratitude are exactly the same.)

In our current politically divisive, media-oversaturated environment, it would be easy to think that the most important battles for freedom are being fought by politicians and pundits. But that wouldn't be true, and it never has been.

Today we celebrate and honor the men and women of America's armed forces, who gave birth to this country...have nurtured and protected it...and have advanced the cause of freedom around the world. Their sacrifices, and those of their families, should humble everyone who enjoys the magnificent blessings of their service...and should also, at least for one day, silence the strident voices shouting from the safety of the sidelines.

Fly your flag today...and thank as many veterans as possible for your right and ability to do so.

DOG TAGGED

Granted, the meaning and importance of Veterans Day isn't crystal clear to some folks...

I'm still laughing at: "This mask needs eye-holes!"
Blessings Stilt!

That was August 14th; more exactly: "These damn things need eye holes!"
Remember that joker who went shopping in a KKK hood for a face mask? Priceless!
;?)

BTW, how is Mrs. Stilton? Still doing PT? (...as of the 14th, she had fallen and broken some bones...)

Thank you. I needed that laugh. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

What I want to know is who made up the dark blue logo banner behind slow-joe that states "Office of the President Elect" ? That man deserves a raise and a reach-around....

Being that Joe is a vegetable (or very soon will be), it makes sense he would be celebrating "vegetarians day!" TRUMP 2020! NO MORE BULLSHIT!

If, God forbid, he actually does get in and make a mask mandate, I would 100% wear this or some other 'fun' ones. Make a store and you will get buyers.

Many thanks to all veterans for their service to our country and all those who live here. The eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month.......

Our current, and with God's help, continuing president has done a lot to bring troops home from unwise and ill-defined conflicts overseas, and to help preclude more conflict by pursuing the wise and evergreen doctrine of Peace Through Strength.

The pretender simply cannot wait to reenter the vile and counterproductive Iran "nukes-on-a platter" deal.

It looks as if Joe Biteme plans to give Zeke Emanuel a prominent position pertaining to health, perhaps HHS secretary. He is the brother of Rahm Emanuel and a prominent player in the Obamacare cluster, a vocal proponent of a national shutdown and mandatory mask mandate, on top of which he thinks no one should really live past age 75. My mother just died at age 93 and if she were still on this mortal coil would eagerly spit in his face. This is the kind of Orwellian crap the left simply cannot wait to subject us to, should PDJT not be successful in his fight against the brazen theft of our election.

By the way, Biteme is 77 years old. If he were to get the 'Rona virus, would Dr. Emanuel withhold treatment? Asking for a friend.

Mandates are up to the states. No federal statute gives Sniffer Joe the authority.

TrickyRicky, I seem to remember someone speaking about Obamacare Death Panels and was promptly and harshly criticized for being an alarmist.

As per Tricky Ricky's posted link: Zeke Emanuel writes about liviing past 75, "It robs us of our creativity and ability to contribute to work, society, the world."

Verifies what I believe to be the left's illogic that when one is no longer useful as a slave "worker bee" to the collective, one should be disposed of.

My thoughts are that the left needs to begin having members of their cult disposed of, by legal means of course.

I'll buy a dozen of these masks today! When/where available? :)

Additionally, don't forget to raise a glass to absent friends today.

I saw Biden and Harris in front of a giant sign that said "Office of the President Elect", which from my multiple readings of The Constitution since grade school I am pretty sure is not a thing. If I recall correctly, this is something invented by Obama. I could take a picture of me and my dog in front of a giant sign that says "Office of the Supreme Rulers of the Galaxy" and it would have no less legal standing.

Mask Mandate: I'm also pretty sure that Biden lacks the legal authority to order such a thing. It's another example of ironic impairment that Progressives who have spent the last half-decade arguing that Trump was going to be a fascist dictator are now going to be totally okay with Biden actually being a fascist dictator.

For all the missteps that I think Trump made in response to the Wuhan Flu, the one thing he did do right was to not challenge where the field response belonged, with the state governors. The kind of policies appropriate for New Jersey certainly don't apply to Wyoming. If Trump made any mistake in this regard, it was in missing the opportunity for what Progressives like to call "a teachable moment" in federalism. Governors are responsible for how the response in their own states take place, not the President. Unfortunately, too many state governors would much rather pass the buck for tough and unpopular decisions (and the bill) to the President and federal government.

Wanna have some fun with Progressives who think that mask mandates are okay? Try this: How about a presidential mandate that condoms MUST be worn during all sexual encounters between non-married people to prevent the spread of the various social diseases? Or how about a mandate forbidding sex with anyone outside of your "germ unit"? If only Reagan had considered that during the initial days of the AIDS crisis almost 40 years ago!

That should make Thanksgiving family gatherings more fun!

As for mask wearing: Masks at indoor public venues have been a requirement in our county and state for some time now. While I comply, every time I put on my mask it is a reminder of the abject failures that led us to this point. In other words, wearing a mask makes me mad. I'm thinking of making one that says "Made mandatory because of the abject failure or success of totalitarian government. You decide.".

Veterans Day: Unfortunately, there are several veteran friends I will not be seeing today, or for the foreseeable future because doing so would be a risk to their lives. To think of everything many of these brave individuals survived, only to end up becoming POWs in their own homes from a virus recklessly released by the kind of totalitarians they once risked their lives to defeat.

I think I'll stop now, because I'm pretty sure I've already made the list to appear before the upcoming truth and reconciliation commission.

And drastically cut down on all those Christmas presents too!

@Stilton,

Totally agreed on the mask mandate. I am all on board with mask wearing in public, but it chafes my ass when some jack-wad, self-righteous, hypocritical politician ORDERS me to wear one or else. "Or else WHAT?' we might ask. Here in beautiful NC (thank GOD Tillis won!), Roy Pooper has just mandated that Thanksgiving gatherings can have no more than 10 people. Huh? How's he gonna enforce that? But... in retrospect, If the Muenster's limit our Thanksgiving to ten, we can use that to totally avoid political arguments between my two "grown" kids (one's a Trumper, the other is an idiot).

@Tricky, rickn8or and Cowboy,
Perhaps you have hit on something there. Maybe this is the plan to dump Joe and turn him into soylent green. I heard something else about that turd Zeke. If the Covid vaccine is approved during the Bite-Me administration, he wants to vaccinate the world FIRST, then we get the leftovers. He is dead friggin' serious about this. The USA doesn't DESERVE to be first in line for a vaccine that WE developed and paid for. Talk about shitting on Trump...

I pray that this vaccine gets released WAAAAY before the demoncrats get their filthy hands on it.

And last but not least, I did not serve in the military, but a huge thanks to all who did! I pray for nothing but the best for you, and also pray that your sacrifices do not get minimalized by the likes of Biden and Harris.

On this Veteran's Day, I raise my glass to:

The young men of my youth. Those that went, served and especially those who gave all. They knew not the joy of wife, children and grandchildren.

The men of my middle years. They survived, but some with stress syndrome, chemical damage, some with missing limbs, some with spinal damage.

The men of my old age. We have made it thus far. Regrets? Sure. But not any regrets about serving this great country. If called, I will step up again.

@Those above who commented on "Joe' POTUS Mask mandate. Bingo; there is no federal authority. I do and will continue to wear one where prudent; but if Joe tries (& I think he said on Day 1 of his farce presidency), it just be another of his many failures to get anything done. Let me spell if out for you Joe. Read carefully: F U C K Y O U J O E.

And this is all IF he ever does get to be President-Elect then POTUS. That term is currently another media &D. Party lie. The Election must be certified; and then he has to get to that date in January. We have yet see see about that.

As for Veterans Day. Thak you all. I used to call my dear old friend & dive buddy on this day every year to thank him for his service ; but sadly he's gone on ahead of us this year. But I've made a recent new friend who is also a veteran (albiet not of the extreme combat mess the older had experienced in Viet Nam).. so I called him. This surprised him big-time; he really seemed to appreciate it. It's not too late...

Mask mandate: At the time, I was too self absorbed to think about it, didn't Nixon impose price controls? So how different is that from a looming mask mandate?

You were a best friend and I will join you soon enough, thank you for your sacrifice.

To all my fellow Servicemen and Servicewomen, thank you for stepping up and continuing to carry the Torch of Freedom. How sad to think the youth of today have no frikken clue what the Price of Freedom is.

We remember. We remember.

Just an observation: We're still in a very critical period with both Covid and in this election; and now for some of us Winter is also coming on. But it seems like most everyone except the never-ceasing talking heads on TV & radio (screw most the internet) are just tired of all this and need a break. That's probably a good idea if I can.
