Window of Opportunity

stilton’s place, stilton, political, humor, conservative, cartoons, jokes, hope n’ change, trump, impeachment, acquitted, pelosi

There's been a lot of news in the last 48 hours, much of which has been absolutely delightful. Topping the list, the U.S. Senate fully acquitted President Donald Trump of the impeachment charges leveled against him by out of control (and beneath contempt) Democrats.

Not that this will really put an end to the animosities in Washington. In fact, everything has been turned up to 11, and we're now seeing (and enjoying!) bareknuckled open warfare between Trump and the Democrats.

As a case in point, following the President's outstanding and inspirational State of the Union address, Nancy Pelosi made a point of holding the pages of the speech aloft and tearing them to pieces...

stilton’s place, stilton, political, humor, conservative, cartoons, jokes, hope n’ change, trump, pelosi, SOTU, speech, tearing, farts

Not that this hateful gesture made any real impact on Trump...

stilton’s place, stilton, political, humor, conservative, cartoons, jokes, hope n’ change, trump, pelosi, SOTU, speechAnd so life moves on, with the Democrats now trying to subpoena John Bolton in hopes of starting new impeachment proceedings, and Republicans looking deeper into the Biden family's corruption scandals. Guess which one we think is more likely to pay off?

I think Pelosi is slipping into her second childhood. I'm surprised she didn't lay on the floor kicking and screaming.

The Barr-Durham reports are coming soon. Sweet dreams Nancy. Best renew your heart meds and codone scrips. And, maybe check on the bulk units of Depends on Amazon while you're at it. Never know when that explosive dysentery will strike........

I did not hear much about the republican primary in Iowa ... I wonder how that turned out ?

Tired of winning yet? Me either.

I finally figured out what Sidewalk Scrapings Nan meant when she said "It was tear it up, or the alternative." She was wishing the speech had been printed on Charmin toilet paper...

Cory Booker: Sorry, you STILL aren't Spartacus. I hear Mr. Clean is hiring, though.

Just watched the video of Nancy "The Tearerist" Pelosi pre-ripping the SOTU speech so she could successfully tear it in half at the correct moment.
What a juvenile action from a bitter old witch.

Theatrics aside, what we saw on public display from Pelosi AND EVERY OTHER SITTING ON THEIR HANDS Democraps was a disdain for our collective successes.

Why?

Because their Champagne-Socialism wasn't satisfied with the first slice of the collective cake going to them first.

Pelosi and her Democraps showed their disdain for the President AND for the Office of the Presidency.

Pelosi and her Democraps showed their disdain for the people, for the people having paying jobs rather than being dependent on government handouts.

Pelosi and her Democraps showed their disdain for the successes of minorities.

Pelosi and her Democraps showed their disdain for the veterans who's sacrifices, and bravery, made sure we have our government today.

Pelosi and her Democraps showed their disdain for the power of a person's vote, wanting to override it to meet their agenda.

Pelosi and her Democraps showed their disdain for the HOPE that the man on the street has regained.

Pelosi and her Democraps disgraced themselves with their witch hunt, which is looking more like a strategic ploy to avoid chastisement for Pelosi and her Democraps having their hands in the cookie jar.

The State of the Union speech was truly presidential, and yet Pelosi and her Democraps showed their distain.

I am not certain what everyone else's response is to their theatrics, but Pelosi and her Democraps have encouraged me to donate to solid Republican candidates at a high level, something I never did before.

We truly have met the Enemy, and it is Pelosi and her Democraps.

We must push back, if not for us, at least for the children.

BTW the SOTU recounting of all that winning did make me realize that if we came so far in three years with a full-frontal opposition, that how much more can we do!

Four more years, oh yeah!

Let's go!

This week's events for Democrats was brutal. They took it in shorts with a sledgehammer.

Their spirit animal truly is a jackass, it was destiny I tell you ...

So what's going to be the next pretense for impeachment before November? Trump caught not separating the plastic properly from the White House trash?

Meanwhile, for the moment the ironically-named Democratic Party has lost the distraction of impeachment from the clown show that they 100% own. Remember, the people who have difficulty counting a couple of dozen people standing in corners of a room and phoning it in want to run your health care.

You know, I voted for him, but, I wasn't really sure about him. Over the last 3 years or so, I have become convicted that he is the right man for this time. I can only shudder when I think of how close we came to having a nut job queen in the White House. What happened on election day 2016 was a true miracle. We have been truly blessed and delivered. Thank you, God.

Looks like the howling "resistance" mob has lost another one in court. A unanimous decision the democrat reps do not have standing to sue for the emolument issue

Sparticus and Farticus... what a pair. Great 'toons today, Doctor Jarlsberg; you've nailed it AGAIN!

@Rastapopoulos,
Nice summary. The impressively long list of accomplishments from the WH came with little or no help from these asswipes; an uphill battle all the way for Trump. I can only imagine what could be accomplished if they got up off their pompous asses and did something for us for the next three years!

@John the Econ,
Yup, we all know that the next round has already begun, likely in an attempt to scuttle the November elections. As you so frequently point out, "If you want more Trump, this is how you get more Trump."

Don't tell Schiff and Nadler, but I heard a rumor that Trump actually (gasp!) flushes the toilet after going #1, completely ignoring the "if it's yellow, let it mellow" rule! Sounds impeachable to me.

The truth about Obongo's undeclared, non-Congressionally-approved money laundering/proxy war-funding scam is about to hit so hard and deeply that not even the Lamestream Midiots will be able to sweep it under the rug.

The money trail that leads through the Biden's and Burisma went straight to world's most corrupt bank, which was owned by the oligarch, who funded the Ukrainians' war against Vlad's Russian forces.

Buy popcorn futures!

Thinking more about the 200 democrat lawmakers who sued over emoluments and had their butts handed to them over no standing to sue, out of those 200, at least a couple are barred attorneys, who should understand whether one has standing to sue or not. Seems like law school 101 to me.

@Howard Johnson- You're welcome!

@Jim G.- I'm hearing more liberals now blaming Trump for what went wrong with Iowa. They don't say how and, face it, it wouldn't matter to them anyway.

@Mike L- She probably wanted to, but forgot to wear her Life-Alert so that someone could help her back up.

@Regnad Kcin- We've been burned by disappointing investigation reports before. Hopefully THIS one will finally pay off!

@REM1875- I'm told that in Iowa, the GOP had many happy returns.

@M. Mitchell Marmel- I'm not sure that's what Nancy meant, considering that in San Francisco they use sidewalks instead of Charmin.

@Flyboy- Boom!

@Bobo the Hobo- I think we conservative types were owed a week like this one. Wasn't it fun?

@Geoff King- At his next State of the Union, Trump should begin by giving Nancy an already torn up copy of the speech (if we're unlucky enough to still have her as Speaker).

@Rastapopoulos- Excellent and accurate!

@Jim Irre- Thanks! When I saw the photo of Trump holding up the paper with a perfectly black background, the cartoon sort of wrote itself.

@Anonymous- Thank you! I really appreciate the shares!

@Anonymous- I've always wondered why the Democrats are happy to have a donkey as their mascot (although it's certainly appropriate).

@John the Econ- I'm guessing that if Trump promises more winning in return for votes, he'll be impeached for another quid pro quo attempt. And wow, how wonderful was the train wreck in Iowa? It indeed shows that Democrats can't run anything, even (or maybe especially) when they have complete control of the process.

@Sortahwitte- Very well put, and I echo your sentiments. Trump still weirds me out, but I also believe he's the only man for the job in these insane times.

@SteveO- Bingo.

@Fish Out of Water- What? The Democrats were mistaken about a point of law? I'm shocked! Shocked!

@Colby Muenster- Trump would also be impeached for "if it's brown, flush it down" because it's racist.

@Emmentaler Limburger- Sadly, it's impossible for liberals to separate whining from breathing.

@B.C.- I'm not up on the details of what you're talking about, but it sounds fun!

@Fish Out of Water- Lefties don't need to actually understand law to abuse it.

@NaCly Dog- Who, me? I live in the Tomb of the Unknown Cartoonist (grin).

@Bobo the Hobo- Woods is a true master of burning Lefties. It's a joy to get him back in the mix!

@Joseph ET- But will Mr. Whipple be a witness for the prosecution or the defense?

@skeetshooter- Some days I get extra help from the Democrats.

Adding to the theme above: And if this happens again, perhaps the next Articles of Impeachment can be printed on pre-perforated paper.

@Stilton - (if we're unlucky enough to still have her as Speaker)...
Maybe he could go all modernish and give it to her on a Kindle. Let's see her tear THAT one up.

What a week for Trump and for America!

1. The Dems show what befuddled clowns they really are in Iowa.
2. Trump hits a homerun on national TV.
3. Impeachment over. Congress can now get back to actual work. (Oh wait, the house Dems still don't want earn their paychecks.)

Stilton, my apologies for assuming that word had gotten out about the money trail of illegal funds that is the entire reason behind the steaming pile of bovine feces that's been dumped on all of us over the past few years.

Below is a link to the special that Glenn Beck released the other day. It's damning to the entire Obama mis-Administration and all of the evidence gathered has been turned over to Sen. Grassley.
