An Act of Wampum Destruction

stilton’s place, stilton, political, humor, conservative, cartoons, jokes, hope n’ change, biden, warren, treasury secretary, economy, leg hairs, woman of color, kamala harris

According to a Washington think tank (and yes, we find that oxymoron hilarious), if Joe Biden is elected as our next president, Elizabeth "Many-HaHa" Warren will be his likely choice for Treasury Secretary with primary responsibility for financial and economic policy. Leaving Joe to concentrate on giving the country a sense of direction by growing moss on his north side.

Such an assignment would be popular with young voters who would have liked Warren to be the VP candidate owing to her solid dedication to socialism, mathemagic taxation plans and, most importantly, the chance that Kate McKinnon would again play her on Saturday Night Live.

But that's not going to happen since Joe has already announced that his VP candidate must be a "woman of color" who is fully qualified and ready, at a moment's notice, to take over the job of stroking Biden's blonde leg hairs when he's sitting poolside.

At the moment, the leading contender for the position is Kamala "I'm not saying Joe is a racist, but he's a racist" Harris who, we're assured by former San Francisco mayor Willie Brown, has plenty of stroking experience.

But just how much damage could Warren do as Treasury Secretary? Plenty - as we pointed out last September:

Warren would introduce a concept she calls "accountable capitalism," which the Wall Street Journal succinctly summarizes as a plan which is "an assault on retiree wealth" which would "destroy savings built over a lifetime and sink the economy."
Think they're exaggerating? Warren wants every business in America worth $1 billion or more to be compelled to become a "federal corporation" in which 2/5 of the directors must be elected by the workers. And rather than primarily serving stockholders, these "federal" corporations would be ordered to serve "the workforce, the community, customers, the local and global environment, and contribute to the betterment of community and societal factors."

In other words, every large company in America will go belly up, taking retirement investments with them.

And there's plenty more where that came from, like Warren's multi-trillion dollar plan for "Medicare For All" which can be fully funded by taxing millionaires and billionaires "pennies" on their fortunes. All of which would, by law, have to be converted into pennies.

It's all a reminder that even if elected, Joe Biden will never be president. This vacuous, grinning shell of a man will merely be a trademark character used for branding purposes, like Uncle Ben or Aunt Jemima, while the real decisions and presidential policies will be handled by a cabal of the most extreme radicals the Left has to offer.

The only thing worse than Joe's cabinet appointments would be Joe's judiciary appointments!

@Mike aka Proof Amen to that!!!

It's America Jim. but not as we know it.
Seriously though, the Chicoms don't need to wage war against the USA, they just have to wait for it to disintegrate from within.(and not a long wait either)

Dances With Dementia and Pocahasbeen would be the left’s dream team but I’m still going with Val Demings for the VP spot

Since Biden claims that 150 million Americans have died by gun violence since '07, and another 120 million have died recently from Covid 19, that only leaves around 58 million of us to govern. A little over 1 million people per state shouldn't be too tough for him to manage.

Dealing with Biden is simple enough:

1) Leak word that he has something on the Clinton Crime Family.

2) Let Nature take its course.

:D

Come on now, don't be so negative, the solution is so simple: every year we take all the billions away from all billionaires.

Think, think, think, think.

I think that there should be a "percentage test" before someone can claim to be a certain race. There are five races on this planet; Asian, Caucasian, Arab, Negro, and Persian. Through interracial breeding over the past 247,922 years (approximately) the races have been diluted. And yes, Neanderthals should be in the mix too but there were only about 17 of them at that time. Not enough to count. So, there are too many nice folks out there who take advantage of race. If a person has 1/1024th of a race in their DNA they should not be able to claim to be that race in order to gain favor. I heard of a president of a major country who garnered the majority of the vote and won even though he was only about 25% or less of the race he claimed to be.

I saw an affirmative action Job choice go to an unqualified person who claimed to be a certain minority race even though he only had 1/32nd of that race. How about setting a standard of 50% in order for a person to claim a race. And, remember, I'm talking about race, not nationality, religion, or political affiliation.

Now let's see the response this brings. Hmmmmm, where's my moonshine?

Some voices are saying the VP pick will be Tammy Duckworth. She appears to be old school centrist democrat, age 51, is married with at least 2 kids, combat disabled military veteran of high rank, and has served 8 years so far in House and Senate. Oh, and she's half Asian, so she ticks the POC box too. I don't care about the box checking aspects; she might be worth looking into to see if she's an acceptable candidate period.

If Biden wins in November, we will have a third term of Obama. Remember how the first two turned out.

Re: Amy Duckworth. Probably the best choice for a dim vp candidate. And for speaking that aloud, the least likely to be chosen. The socialist party doesn't want someone reasonable, well respected, and likable. Do you remember cankle's vp choice? What an ass. And she still came close. The polls show dumbo in the lead. The dims are jumping around around and pissing their pants. Do you remember how wrong the polls were last time? That's my prayer.
Do it again, DJT.

Another great example of the know-nothing ignorance of the left. They love to repeat that Trump is a fascist, and then enthusiastically endorse the mad rantings of actual fascists.

The only salient difference between fascism and other forms of totalitarianism is that the fascists will let you engage in a fantasy that you actually have property rights. Liz Warren's "accountable capitalism" is simple fascism; where political cronies appointed by the state will assert control of non-state companies in the interests of people other than the owners/shareholders. So not only will the organization act for interests other than for the owners, it will also be forced to act for the interests of the state, fellow cronies, and of course Progressivism.

So basically, America's corporations would be just as corrupt as Liz Warren says they are today, except Progressive Democrats will be the exclusive beneficiary of the corruption. Any actual value created by these corrupted companies would be happenstance.

Of course, considering how our largest corporations are today folding to appease the Progressive mob, I'm not certain how we'd tell the difference, beyond, as @Stilton mentions, in the destruction of whatever value is left in your retirement savings. But inflation from our experiment with modern monetary theory will have long since destroyed the value of the dollar anyway, so you probably won't notice as a multi-millionaire who has to eat cat food in their retirement.

@Fred Ciampi: Persian? Most lists I've seen give Khoisanoid/Capeoid (African aboriginal) as the fifth racial type, and either Australoid (Australian Aborigine and Papuan) or Pacific Islander (including the Australoid group) as the sixth. But classification has more to due with phenotype than genetics.

Anybody have one of those travel wallets? You know, the ones that hang around your neck and you wear under your shirt?

Do they make such a thing for my 401k?

Seriously, we had a guy here at work that was so dismayed by the current state of things around the country, he retired at 62, and had his entire 401k converted to cash! Took a huge beating on taxes, but said that was better than losing it all. Might have a point there, but if the progs actually do take over, this guy's cash will eventually be worthless as well.

God help us if SloJoe wins and they take the Senate! I'm asking you all (seriously) to pray for this country. I honestly believe that's what got Trump elected last time.

A news flash of sorts. Fauxahontas has lost in her bid to keep the CFPB unaccountable. SCOTUS ruled the President can fire the person who heads this malformed agency.

Leader? need to wipe the whole agency. CFPB has 0 banking knowledge. Course with the dems that is not a disqualifying fact.

@Mike aka Proof- Biden himself is a cypher. But if he's elected, we'll get a "greatest hits" compilation of the worst the radical Left has to offer.

@Fish Out of Water- Yeah, what you said!

@Brie Camembert- Sadly, you're right. There is no country on Earth powerful enough to tear our country down the way it's currently being done from the inside.

@Bobo the Hobo- I hadn't even heard of Val Demings, but now that I've looked I can see how she would make an appealing candidate for the Dems. Plus, her reputation isn't currently stuck in the mud, like most of the (ahem) women of color that Joe's team is weighing.

@Geoff King- 58 million people, 57 states. Maybe we DO need to make Washington DC a state just for symmetry.

@M. Mitchell Marmel- That's a terrible thing to say! Also, how can we make it happen..?

@Unknown- I know you're kidding, but I think the Dems actually believe it would work. Of course, they'd also cut open the goose that laid the golden eggs in order to get them all at once.

@Fred Ciampi- I like the idea of the "percentage test" because it might remind people of the spectrum we all inhabit. And don't even START me on affirmative action, which is actual systemic racism.

@Drew458- Duckworth is interesting, and her military experience puts her WAY ahead of the Kamala Harris types.

@TrickyRicky- I think a Biden administration would be even worse than Obama's (as hard as that is to imagine). For all intents and purposes, if Biden wins then Nancy Pelosi is effectively president.

@Sortahwitte- I agree that the Left would probably reject Duckworth because she doesn't appear to be a screaming lunatic. As far as polls go, I don't even listen to them anymore because they can so easily be manipulated to generate whatever results the pollster wants.

Stilton Jarlsberg said...

@DougM- Coming from you, sir, that's quite a compliment!

Stilton Jarlsberg said...

@John the Econ- Excellent summary of an entirely-too-possible worst case scenario. I'm genuinely worried about my family's financial future because I don't have much faith in our fiscal system at this point. Hyper-inflation strikes me as very possible and, frankly, the Dems would like to see it happen as it would only hasten making everyone into wards of the state.

@Pat Cummings- And when the Dems take over, every one of those racial types will have its own bathroom.

@Colby Muenster- I can readily empathize with that guy who took all of his money in cash. But at the moment, no one wants to touch cash, and in the near future the purchasing power of that cash may be in the dumper.

@Fish Out of Water- Anything Warren wants is something I don't want. So, yay!

@Paul- For the Dems, knowledge isn't power...only power is power.

@Stilton,

I'm thinking the best "cash" one could own now, and going forward, is in the form of ammo, and the devices that use it.

Sortahwitte said...

The best form of mineral wealth are lead and brass. Never, ever find yourself short. Right now there are certain items such as particular rifles, pistols, and certain accessories that are scarce. You may be put on a waiting list. Don't panic, just use the time to good stead. Various calibers of ammo are out there, too if you look. It's just not at the price you paid last summer. Yeah, hindsight has a wicked way of whispering in your ear.

I have made the decision for myself that I will not comply. Take that as you can imagine it. For starters I will, not allow myself to be vaccinated for covid19. We that call ourselves conservatives, patriots, or whatever need to get our thoughts and actions lined out.
The time is getting closer.
