Nom Nom Nom

Plus, he doesn't even speak English.
Today, President Donald Trump has promised to announce his nominee for the Supreme Court seat being vacated by justice Anthony Kennedy. At the time of this writing, we don't know specifically who that nominee will be - but thanks to the left-leaning media, we have a pretty good idea of what to expect.

Apparently Trump's pick will be rabidly opposed to civil rights, human rights, women's rights, LGBT rights, women's sacred right to puree the unborn, and the right of every human being on Earth to claim asylum and hefty financial support for simply existing in the United States.

In fact, the nominee will - according to all reports - be against civilization and decency in general, and enable Trump to turn the entire planet into a living Hell in which women are enslaved and degraded, and men are forced - under pain of death - to wear ludicrous comb-overs.

Oh sure, there's a small body of thought that Mr. Trump may instead just choose a splendid legal mind who is well-versed in Constitutional law and our nation's founding principles (as he did with his previous pick) but this optimistic view isn't getting a lot of play in the media.

Frankly, we expect to be delighted with Trump's choice no matter who he or she turns out to be. Because after enduring decades of pointless, lying political slogans which had no meaning whatsoever, we now believe that we've got a President whose sole purpose really is to "make America great again.

And we're betting his Supreme Court nominee will prove it.

Then again, he can be unpredictable...

Does this mean there'll now be a swimsuit contest for SCOTUS?

Mike - Sweet JEEBUS I effing HOPE not!
Like Stilt, I'm sure who EVER he nominates will be well qualified, and will go through 6 shades of Hades from the Dimms, but...
There are apparently 10 of them (Senate side) up for re-election in states Trump won BIGLY... so there may be incentive to roll w/ it...
>hoping<

The only way he could please the left at this time is to nominate Satan to the court.....

Since Judge Jeanine Pirro is not one of the candidates, I really do not care who Trump picks.
Along with all members of congress, I believe Supreme Court Justices should be subject to term limits just as the President is.
Actually, the whole lot of them could easily be replaced by a Commodore 64 computer running only the following program written in simple Basic Language:

10 print "does this conform with the US Constitution?"
20 if "yes" then goto 50
30 if "no" then print "disapproved"
40 goto 10
50 print "approved"
60 goto 10

Perhaps President Trump ought to just nominate Satan to fill the vacancy. I mean, hey, he's (she's??) not very secular and probably appeals to much of the base that currently controls the democratic party.

And instead of declaring the final battle between good and evil, the democratic party should be looking at ways to bore into President Trump's voter base with the Godsend he's given them by his less than enlightened trade polices.

Wonder if Harry Reid is available for comment?

I want to see someone such as a Clint Eastwood character in 'High Planes Drifter'. And he'll always be packing. Or maybe Patton or U. S. Grant.

My way of handling all this now while maintaining normal blood pressure is to consider any video or audio clip or quote from a leading Democrat being presented by major media as comedy and just enjoy the show until I can hit the button.

OK, it's not that funny; but it's often more humorous than much of what goes for comedy these days. > This site and others like it excepted of course. <

Can't ya'll just kind of feel the rug slipping out from under the Democrat Party? Oh yeah, keep talking.

Didja see that Slick has volunteered to help judge the "talent" competition for Miss America, now that they have gotten rid of the swimsuit portion? He volunteered with the understanding that each contestant will be required to demonstrate how they can fellate without accidentally staining any attire. Extra points will be awarded for the "swallow" maneuver. And the other part of that competition will involve them showing how to properly humidify a cigar.

Slick is clearly well qualified to judge both parts. And since he likes 'em chunky, there will obviously be no "body shaming" of rotund contestants. Although since he also insists that they be subservient, that might be a problem.

By the way, that's how you can be sure that Slick and Cankles never consummated their marriage. Yeah, she sure meets the "chunky" criteria. But can you EVER imagine her being "subservient"???

Hardly a day goes by that Trump doesn't say something that makes me cringe, but I get down on my knees and thank God that Trump, not Hillary, is appointing the new Supreme Court Justice.

Stilt,

You could entertain us mightily by addressing the differences between "Equal Rights" and " human rights." I would enjoy your thoughts.

Thanks for all that you do.

We have yet to see an Asian on the Court. We have yet to see Native American on the Court. We have yet to see (that we know of) a cross dresser on the Court. We have yet to see a lefty that actually sides with the written Constitution on the Court. We have yet to see an evangelical atheist on the Court. We have yet to see a minor on the Court. We have yet to see an illegal alien on the Court. We have yet to see a cartoonist on the Court. We have yet to see. . .

So many agendas, so many groups to anger when their "person" is not picked.

I suggest Janice Rogers Brown, a black, female, conservative former federal judge who was opposed by none other than the Big O himself.

http://obamaspeeches.com/021-Nomination-of-Justice-Janice-Rogers-Brown-Obama-Speech.htm

But, if JRB is not available, how about the eminently well endowed, er, prepared, Miss Busty Ross for the position?

Stilton, It's too bad that Lefty Lucy spent so much time getting cute while in her mother's womb... imagine how smart she would be if she had spent that energy growing that itty bitty, teeny weeny brain into a normal sized one!
REM1875, NO, don't even JOKE about that... the left damn near got his SISTER elected as President!

The nominee hasn't even been announced and the MSM, etc. has gone over the top critical as was to be expected. The "fun" has just begun and I don't have the stomach for it. You're spot on to what we have in store for us until he/she is confirmed.
I'm with Geoff on term limits for ALL branches of the DC swamp.

Fish Out of Water said...

@Geoff King: For SCOTUS, I would like to see each justice have to be reaffirmed by the Senate after a term of say, ten years on the bench.

There is an upside to President Trumps selection. This will push all other programs to yesterday's news. Mueller, who has an unhealthy relationship with the press, immigration that is fading fast, continual harassment of appointed department people, etc. This is the most important selection for the next 30 years and President trump knows this and he will get it done. Thank God for that nitwit Harry Reid who believed the polls. Funny thing is if President Trump appointed Kennedy again, he could not get by the left. They are going to trash everyone. This may be the only time you will see the left and socialism democrats in lock step (although their members are leaving Left and Right). This anal exam with a searchlight will be sickening.

John the Econ said...

Oh Lefty, if your ignorance was merely millennial satire.

Trump's Pick: The Progressive histrionics certainly are amusing, especially considering that he's replacing a Reagan-appointed justice. And according to Progressive "we're in no position to say but we will act as though we are anyway" rules, they're demanding a "moderate" pick to replace the wishy-washy Kennedy, literally as though as if Kennedy's replacement were to have been Hillary's choice, they'd replace him with anything other than a "Constitution? What Constitution?"-type leftist.

Just imagine how shrill this is all going to be when RBG goes.

Personally, I'd like Trump to replace Kennedy with someone like the judge who Reagan originally nominated and should have been in Kennedy's place back in 1987, Robert Bork. This would right a 31-year wrong.

Colby Muenster said...

Let's face it, short of picking Shrillary or O'liar, the Progressives will vote a big fat NOOOO!, no matter who it is. I'm stocking up on popcorn and scotch.

Term limits for SCOTUS judges is a good idea. It probably never occurred to the framers that there would someday be crotchety geezers like Darth Vader Ginsburg on the court. It was very rare for someone to live to 132 in the late 18th century.

I watched an amusing video on Campus Reform where a man on the street interviewed the oh so enlightened young skulls full of mush on the NYU campus in New York. They all railed on the appointee who has yet to be named. This is what the left has been truly successful in doing -indoctrinating these impressionable young idiots. I am, however, greatly encouraged by the Walk Away movement. It gives me some hope that some of these young souls are actually paying attention and fleeing the plantation.

@Mike aka Proof- Hey, who knows what's being worn under those black robes?

@Pete (Detroit)- It's sad to know that some good man or woman is about to be ripped apart by the Left. On the other hand, it's a happy thought that the Left will, in the end, be stuck with a Justice they hate.

@REM1875- Hey, the Dems would happily vote for a person of color (Satan is red, right?)

@Geoff King- I love the Commodore 64 strategy! How can we make this actually happen?

@Fish Out of Water- It's hard yet to say how the "trade war" stuff will impact the average voter, although I expect to be hearing highly exaggerated reports from the Left at any moment now.

@Fred Ciampi- I love the idea of a Supreme Court Justice giving the "Clint squint" at some motor-mouthed attorney!

@Rod- I try to take the Left's comments as comedy (and present it as such here), but it's difficult to pull off long term.

And yes, I do feel the rug slipping out from under the Dems...but I worry about how mean it's making them.

@Mark Matis- I'm pretty sure Slick Willy has a way different idea of a "talent competition" than the pageant's (oops, we're not supposed to call it that anymore) do. And I don't know if Bill and Hillary ever consummated their marriage, but I'm pretty damn sure that Bill wasn't in the room (or perhaps the state) the night Chelsea was conceived.

@jpb252- Nicely put. That's exactly how I feel!

@Jack Wiegman- It does rather seem that "human rights" should cover everything found in the subsection of "equal rights," doesn't it? Oh sure, there are semantic differences and fluid definitions...but logically, none of that should matter.

@Boligat- I enjoyed your laundry list of stereotypical "firsts" that deserve a place on the court. And Janice Rogers Brown sounds good to me - it's always fun to watch the Left attacking women and blacks who (ahem) don't know their place in the Dems' worldview. As far as Busty getting the seat, I'm sure she'd do a wonderful job, but it would be something of a sin to put her in a judicial burqa.

@Bruce Bleu- I'm hoping that Lucy's brain will continue to evolve as she ages. Hey, it happened to me!

@Judi King- Trump hasn't announced at the point I'm writing this, but you just KNOW it's going to get messy!

Stilton Jarlsberg said...

@Fish Out of Water- That's an interesting idea, but I could see it going south on us pretty easily. I don't want to make it easier for the Left to confirm or deny anyone ever.

@James Daily- Great points throughout!

@John the Econ- Sadly, her ignorance is more than satire. The generation screaming "Hitler" and "concentration camps" doesn't even know what they're talking about and, to be blunt, they're taking a big smelly dump on the millions of Holocaust victims by not putting in the minimal effort to learn about this historic nightmare.

And the notion that the Dems want a "moderate" anything ever is beyond laughable.

@Colby Muenster- It's easy to look at Ruth "The Thing That Wouldn't Leave" Bader Ginsburg and think term limits is a good idea. Perhaps we might consider a cut off of 80 or something.

@Shelly- I saw that video you mentioned. These little blowhards sound SO confident in their ignorance. I'm not even sure if they knew they were making crap up on the spot, or if they just believe whatever tumbles out of their own empty noggins.

And like you, I'm hoping the #WalkAway movement catches fire. If it did, a younger generation might really discover they can change the country (and world) in positive ways.

Dan said...

@Stilt -- You're right, it's no longer a "pageant," I think we're supposed to call it a "matter."

What a choice. McConnell said he could get Kavanaugh thru the Senate so now President Trump has that RINO by the dovers and it is time to squeeze. God only knows how he will get Red State Democrats to the plus side, probably billions and billions. Bring the popcorn, this is gonna be fun.

Gee M said...

Although my stroke has deprived me of a fully functional left hand, when President Trump introduced Coach Ted I truly understood what is the sound of 1 hand clapping!
I approve of this nomination... like putting a squad of Constitutional Marines on the bench.
Take that, Lefties!

And he WILL be seated on the bench...Justice Uber Lib Kagan approves...Trumped again!

Stilton Jarlsberg said...

@Dan- Now THAT is a funny comment!

@James Daily- Wow, I just watched the nomination speeches. Trump sounded Presidential, and Kavanaugh made me misty in the best possible way. I enthusiastically support him! But as you say, now the show really begins...

@Gee M- Genuinely sorry to hear about your stroke, but I think a good right hand smacked vigorously on the thigh still counts as riotous applause. Holy cow, Kavanaugh seems like he could skip the Supreme Court and go straight to Sainthood. An amazing and inspirational man. And as you point out, how is the Left going to explain away the fact that Kagan herself hired him to teach Law at Harvard?

I've got goosebumps, and I'm not kidding.

Emmentaler Limburger said...

Perhaps we might consider a cut off of 80 or something.

That should be in place for Congress, too. That, and a prohibition on the use of anti-Alzheimer's drugs...

Colby Muenster said...

Alas, Elena Kagan does not get a vote, and your typical libtard doesn't even know who the hell she is anyway, so any influence she might have will be ignored.

In the end, Kavannaugh will be confirmed, but we will endure months of BS to get there. Sad that the Republicans can't even agree on something this vital to the survival of our country!

I just got a notice about a comment from "unknown" recommending a cure that his ailing father was given. I'm sorry for being a "suspicious bitch" (my words here) but I don't see the comment on here and was wondering if it was spam or real? My sincerest apologies if it is, by the way, I'm not belittling anyone's illness or search for cures. Been there done that. What worries me is I went to the website mentioned and was truly disturbed by what was supposed to be site of remedies or cures where the spelling and grammar are on the level of a "Nigerian prince email scam" type. Am I being wrongfully judgemental here or what? Any help guys?

Stilton Jarlsberg said...

@mamafrog- My general rule of thumb is that anything that seems fishy on the Internet IS fishy. Bad spelling and grammar are an instant tip off, too. Run away! Run away!
