Actionable News

stilton’s place, stilton, political, humor, conservative, cartoons, jokes, hope n’ change, fake news, election, trump, biden, mainstream media, election interference, Kamala,

It can't be easy just now to be working in the mainstream news media, because you not only have to try to cover up the Hunter Biden scandal and the Eric "Pirrow Talk" Swalwell scandal, but you also need to hide yet another scandal in a shallow grave: a study that shows even with Democrat cheating, Trump would have trounced Joe Biden at the polls if the "news" media had just been reporting actual news to their audiences.

In a survey of Biden voters in seven swing states, one in six declared they wouldn't have voted for Biden (and in some cases would've voted for Trump) if they had been aware of major news stories which somehow (ahem) had been omitted from mainstream newscasts and censored by social media sources.

Here are some of the main things that Biden voters didn't know (and which they now say would have influenced their votes). In each case, had the voters known even one of these stories, Biden would have lost.

35.4% of Biden voters were completely unaware that there were serious accusations of sex assault leveled against Joe Biden by former staffer Tara Reade. This despite Kamala Harris, early in her campaign, saying the accusations were credible. And, oh yeah, that Joe was a racist.

45.1% of Biden voters had no idea that there was a developing financial scandal (and likely influence-peddling scandal) involving Hunter Biden and his dad, Joe "The Big Guy" Biden. They were presumably also unaware that Hunter Biden's laptop computer gives damning evidence for all of this, and likewise unaware that a naked Hunter appeared in a video smoking crack while a woman stroked his poll standings with her feet.

25.3% of Biden voters were unaware that Kamala "Commie" Harris has the most left-wing record of anyone in the Senate, making Bernie Sanders look like Ronald Reagan. Or that she got her political start by accepting several positions (wink-wink, nudge-nudge) under married San Francisco mayor Willie Brown. It is unknown if her feet were involved, so quit asking, Hunter.

39.4% of Biden voters never got the news that there was an explosive resurgence in employment following the initial impact of the pandemic. 49% had further never heard that under Trump, there was a gigantic jump in economic growth this year. In fact, it is unlikely that they ever got any economic news at all that didn't include a Democrat politician's name in close proximity to the word "free."

43.5% of Biden voters had cartoon-style question marks floating above their heads upon hearing that President Trump brokered historic peace agreements in the Middle East and has received three nominations for the Nobel Peace Prize. A Prize which normally only goes to half-black presidents for "looking promising."

50.5% of Biden voters had no idea that President Trump's policies had not only made the United States energy-independent but made us an actual energy exporter. Of course, these same people have no idea that our nation can't be powered by gigantic pinwheels spun by unicorn farts.

36.1% of Biden voters likely had their eyeballs bugging out above their masks when told - apparently for the first time - about the Trump administration's key role in getting the Covid vaccines developed through Operation Warp Speed. They had heard, however, that President Trump was personally responsible for every single Covid death. And quite likely cancer.

And there we have it: the worst case of election interference in the history of our nation, pulled off by a consortium of media and tech companies who have made it their business to promote hate, division, and an utterly ignorant electorate to bolster their own interests and anti-American ideology.

Which, when you think about it, is one hell of a news story. It's a pity that most Democrats will never get to hear it.

AND JUST FOR MUCH-NEEDED LAUGHS...

As I said a month or so back, "Let them have their moment. It will make the schadenfreude all the sweeter when it crashes down around their heads."

I'm stocking up on popcorn to watch the fun...

As a side note: The crashing down bit will occur, one way or another. Just read an interesting Spectator article...

Good thing I know enough to finish my coffee *before* going to Stilton's Place!

The Nobel Peace Prize "which normally only goes to half-black presidents for 'looking promising'" -- or bloodthirsty terrorist honchos like Yasir Arafat yemach sh'mo v'zichro (= may he rot in hell).

The leftist media should be forced to disclose the source of all of their funding since they have unmistakably acting like political action committees providing in kind campaign contributions.

I happened to see that pole episode. It was a very tall pole and a lot of work for his "lady" friend's feet. It
took a long time for that pole to fall down.

Another Grand Slam, Stilton.
Unfortunately I'm too pissed to laugh. The FBI started their investigation of Ol' Hunter in 2018. They waited until the month AFTER the election to bother mentioning it. Apparently the FBI is not just rotten at the head, it's rotten to the core. Journalism is just as putrid, the dhimmicrats will watch our cities burn while starving the citizens because "Orange Man Bad". They crap on us and then rub OUR noses in it. While I can only hope for some recovery of sanity in 2020, I'm not holding my breath. The majority of our populace seem to be sheeple waiting not for fleecing, but for slaughter. Keeping your powder dry doesn't matter - you can't find primers.

As the cavalcade of disturbing disclosures continue, I am reminded of a passage from the Harry Potter book, The Half-Blood Prince, which goes;

"'Fifty points from Gryffindor for lateness I think,' said Snape, 'And, let me see, another twenty for your Muggle attire. You know, I don't believe any House has ever been in such negative figures this early in the term: We haven't even started pudding. You might have set a record, Potter.'"

That aside, the news that retreads from the worst electoral mistake since the peanut farmer from Plains, Ga's Administration are in line to serve in the Harris/Biden Administration, only confirms to me that its been worst electoral mistake since the peanut farmer from Plains, Ga all along (nod to The Godfather) who's engineered this so he can pull the strings in a shadow 3rd term, while "Uncle" Joe sits cluelessly like Governor Lepetomane (Blazing Saddles) at the Resolute Desk.

The heartening news for me is, thinking happily about what's in store for the democrats in the 2022 mid-terms.

As I keep saying, I don't know if the media is/are a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Dem Party, or it's the other way round, but it's OBVIOUS they're in cahoots.

The fingerprints of the CCP are everywhere in this nightmare. Dem, Repub, schools, media, sports and entertainment. We are already at war with the Chicoms, but we are too stupid to recognize that fact. On the other hand DJT has been warning us for 30 years.

I want to say that I'm shocked at the results of this survey, that I'm stunned how uninformed and incurious most people are. But I can't. The average person isn't very bright, and they're at the peak of the Bell curve; half the population is dimmer than they are. Very few people can think for themselves. Most are sheep, bleating today's common opinion without a thought. The media wants this, and the dull witted never even notice that every network is expressing the same idea with the very same words within moments of each other.

I see this all the time whenever the conversation shifts to the "pandemic". Most don't know a damn thing, many of them are frustrated about that, but almost none of them make the smallest effort to find anything out for themselves.

Come to think of it, I've been seeing willful stupidity since grade school. Maybe it starts at home in early childhood; lazy inept parents squashing their children's natural curiosity. Whatever, it's a generational cycle, always a downwards spiral, and there is no bottom.

While not directly related to today's post, spotted this on a jobsite this morning and it portends a glimpse of a black sail on the far reaches of the horizon, of what Governor Lepetomane (Biden) may unleash:

Well maybe. Given that some number of hacked voting machines were programmed to maintain a margin for Biden, there is the possibility that no number of Trump votes would have been enough. And if the total of votes cast far exceeded the number of registered voters? The courts say, "Meh, so what?"

It's the corrupt and monied forces behind the damned media. I know a lot of very well respected, life-experienced, hard-working, patriotic and intelligent people, some being good friends of ours, with whom IMO the only problem has been where they get their news; or in many cases as you summarize; Where they don't get it. Without media support the leading Democrats would just be a completely ridiculous and failing clown show.

John the Econ said...

Well, now that it appears inevitable that the Democrats are going to get what they want, (Trump out of the White House) it's now safe to let the backlog of dirt fly on the Biden family racket so that they can get the "moderate" Joe cleared out of the way for Kamala and the Progressives.

Hey lo-fo Democrat voters who now feel deceived? How did that "early voting" work out for ya?

@Stilton, I truly hope you are working on your next book, The Kamala Sutra - An Illustrated Guide To Women Getting Ahead in the Democratic Party, because the clock is running on both the minutes remaining before Kamala takes over, and your freedom to print such a thing.

One of the things that social media has been useful for is discovering other things that supposedly "educated" and "informed" Democrats don't know. For example:

1) That the whole "Trump Russian Collusion" narrative was from a dossier purchased by the Clinton campaign from actual Russian agents.

2) That the Obama Administration was involved in promulgating the narrative and supporting an illegal investigation into the activities of political opponents.

3) That Joe Biden, supposedly acting on behalf of the Obama Administration actually did (and boasted of doing) what was later used as an impeachable allegation against Trump; threatening the withholding of funds from Ukraine to alter an investigation.

I could go on, but today was supposed to be my day off and I have a bunch of work to do.

Not only did we have a mainstream media that chose to sit on and/or ignore all of this, we also had media that actively suppressed it all. This happened, by the way under a supposed Trump regime that was supposed to be a fascist dictatorship. Worst fascist dictatorship ever!

Surfacing from Lurker Mode, I am also angry about how easily so many of our fellow Americans seem to accept being misled, risking every good thing about America to the hateful plans of its enemies. But I'm concerned about some things I see here, too.

Don't any of us remember when there was talk that Obama might declare some sort of national emergency and refuse to step down as President? I can imagine Democrats who see themselves above such details as the Constitution and history doing this. Yet, some of us here have suggested the same thing in the name of a suspect election. America would never recover from such a blow. It would be a fatal precedent for the next desperate party to do it again and actually be the most effective means to destroy it.

Also, I read the "Spectator" article, and while it is worth reading, it didn't touch on a lot we'd better be prepared for if--God Prevent!--we actually start killing each other.
Consider: If any new Civil War lasts more than a few weeks--even days--who really thinks the world would sit on its hands? As soon as the US Army engages in hostilities, what will prevent China from invading Taiwan? North Korea the South? Russia the Baltic States and the rest of Ukraine--or Poland, for that matter?

With the US incapable of intervening in any foreign military adventure, where's the incentive not to risk it? Just threatening to Nuke anyone that get's out of line while we're at it is just not believable.

If our Domestic enemies are the likes of Antifa and BLM, they're not going to field armies to defend a given region, such as the Confederacy did. It will be a nation wide urban war, characterized by sniping and bombings. As Communist/Socialist Ideologues, they will deliberately target non-combatants--children, Old Folks Homes, etc, to conduct a campaign of revolutionary terror: To win by making their enemies too afraid to fight them.

Of course, the exact opposite will happen--fighting will become more bitter and prisoners will not be taken by either side. And in the case of BLM--and this prospect makes my blood run cold--ALL Black Americans will become suspect, and countless innocent lives will be taken as "Kill 'em all: Let God sort'em out!" quickly becomes the order of the day.

What will the "Enemy" look like? He won't wear an Antifa "uniform" or carry a "BLM" flag. He will look, speak, and act exactly like our neighbor because he already is. Their guerilla leadership will go into hiding once the shooting starts to plan strikes. We won't meet them on "battefields," but only when one starts shooting from cover of his choosing. No army worth a damn fights when or where his enemy wants--or expects--him to.

Urban Guerilla Warfare like starts with targeting Police, Fire, EMT's, etc, then attempts to control or disrupt infrastructure: cell towers and water lines, blockade highways to prevent food from entering cities. At each of these points, fights could occur which even if successful would still lead to damage/disruption of the very assets to be protected.

None of this is exhaustive of the negatives to face if actual Civil War starts. The only certain thing before any war is that it will be longer, meaner, and more surprising than expected. Civil War is NOT the answer--it would only be a question to which the final answer may be unimaginably horrific.

I am an Old, Fat, Un-armed Civilian, but I surrender my life to protect all this country is, warts and all. I oppose all its enemies--Foreign and Domestic--but if I have an actionable message at all, it is this: Let's do all we can to fight them, but let's not BECOME them.

THEY must fire the first shot. They must spill the first blood. In virtually all of America's wars, our enemies have been the ones to shoot first, while we have always fired the LAST shot--in victory.

@TrickyRicky: If we are (finally!) at war with the ChiComs it has only happened in the past four years. By contrast, the ChiComs have been at war with the US of A since June 1950. We have some catching up to do, but that seems to be our stock-in-trade.
Only time will tell -- and then only if PDJT survives this latest coup attempt.

I'm thinking unless someone just really WANTS to go to domestic warfare; at least for a while things will be more like everyone who can hucker down and get along will be OK for a while. There will be very support & help like we're used to. Those who are better able to handle that might be OK; those who are not will be much more helpless and will quickly add to the problem. And that's a lot of people. And I also think it may start with assassinations. We really need to avoid all that; but we may get way to close to the tipping point.

Just a quick note, @Stilt: there are some REALLY good fruitcakes available. Namely, Cryer Creek Kitchens/Collin Street Bakery right there in Corsicana, TEXAS! Try some!

I'd like to see YUUUUUGE "protests" going on with signs saying CHEATING ISN'T WINNING!!! or some such short, to-the-point truths. It would be nice too if those Gropey Joe voters who hadn't heard of those MSM-non-news stories would start demanding a re-vote, now that they know they've had the wool pulled over their eyes.

@Readers- Excellent comments above. I don't have time to respond to everything, but I will say that if anything remotely like civil war breaks out in the future, we all lose. Oh sure, the well-prepared could live on as individuals, but our social structure would likely be gone for good. Which is why I hope that things never go that far.

In the meanwhile, in a totally non-violent way I'm growing fonder of the idea of secession - for my home state of Texas, at the very least, and maybe for like-minded others. I personally want to live under a Constitutional government, and it sure doesn't look like that's in our immediate future.

John the Econ said...

I have to wholeheartedly concur with @TVAG & @Stilton. This civil war people keep talking about isn't going to work out the way anyone thinks. I think few people appreciate how blessed we are to live in this country as it has been as flawed as it might be, how fragile our civilization really is, and what life would be like after any semblance of civil order permanently breaks down.

It certainly won't be anything resembling the one in 1863 where conservatives envision cowardly anarchists, Antifa, BLM and Marxists lined up on a field in Gettysburg to be slaughtered by the freedom-loving, flag-carrying Constitutionalist militia types. It will be an ugly hit-and-run terrorism exercise that will make easy and reliable commerce impossible. Starvation would be inevitable for most.

Yes, I predict that by possessing hard skills I'd certainly fare better than the average highly educated yet economically useless SJW you'd find in my university town. But I've also grown accustomed and appreciate the by-historical-standards easy life I currently enjoy. Even the most hardy among us would not have anything resembling an easy life after the fall.

Whatever schadenfreude I might enjoy by watching the Progressive idealists starve will not make up for what we all have lost.

JustaJeepGuy said...

@John the Econ, I personally don't care as much about what we might lose in a CWII as much as I care about restoring the Constitution as the supreme law of the land. To restore America as the Republic it was intended to be is a goal worth dying for, as many who have done so would attest. I would willingly die for that goal especially if I get to send many commies ahead of me. Commies are not Americans, and CHEATING ISN'T WINNING!!
