It's Later Than You Thing

At the time of this writing, the results of Super Tuesday voting aren't yet available, but we'll go out on a limb and guess that Trump racked up a solid win on the Republican side, and that a huge majority of Democrats voted for an old white guy whose last name starts with a "B."

It's thought that Biden may make a striking resurgence (despite continuing gaffes like the one in the cartoon, in which he proved that some truths aren't "self-evident" after all) owing to the fact that other candidates have dropped out of the race and thrown their support behind Biden. Not because Biden has anything good to offer, but because old school Democrats will do anything to stop Bernie Sanders.

Sanders supporters are, of course, livid about this - with the memory of the DNC in general, and Hillary Clinton in particular, using every dirty trick in the book to steal the nomination from Bernie last time. His supporters are particularly upset because a 100-year-old Bernie will be too old to run again in 2024. Granted, Sanders won't actually be 100, but if these nimrods could do simple math they wouldn't be Bernie Sanders supporters, would they?

ALSO IN THE NEWS

stilton’s place, stilton, political, humor, conservative, cartoons, jokes, hope n’ change, biden, super tuesday, bernie, declaration, chris matthews, msnbc

Longtime liberal pain-in-the-butt Chris Matthews has abruptly retired from MSNBC, although reports suggest that if he hadn't resigned, he would have been fired.

The (ahem) "opinion journalist" who was famous for getting a "thrill up my leg" and "a slight tingling in my left nut" when listening to Obama speak was allegedly on the outs with MSNBC management for being "insensitive" when doing things like comparing Bernie Sanders' win in the Nevada caucuses to the Nazi invasion of France in World War II. Apparently, only Republicans are allowed to be compared to Nazis on the alleged news outlet.

Matthews also admitted to having been inadvertently and unintentionally insensitive to women over the years, having made "compliments on a woman's appearance that some men, including me, might have once incorrectly thought were OK." Because it turns out that, no matter how complimentary and positive, you can't pair any descriptive adjective with the word "knockers" anymore and get away with it.

In his victory speech Tuesday night, senile Joe was flanked by his sister and his wife, and he forgot which was which.

Washington Post columnist Mark Thiessen just said on Fox News: "Democrats will now have to choose between socialism and senility." Ouch.

Biden gets his wife and sister confused and Pelosi thinks Trump is the most dangerous man in America. WOW

If Biden had two brains, then the other one would be lonely. For CM, there's no hope.....

I bet Biden can't wait to show up for his inauguration on February 30th, 2021 on the steps of Independence Hall, with his sister at his side.

🎶It’s beginning to look like a brokered convention 🎵. Watching the knives come out for the ‘Rats is so much fun that I’m buying more shares of Jiffy Pop. The only thing that would top this would be if Hillary! waddled back onto the political stage.

Old Bernie‘d better be ready to drop his drawers and grab the ankles, cause he ain’t gonna’ be the nominee come summer. There’s no doubt in my mind that Buttigieg and Klobuchar were told by their DNC masters to drop out of the race and throw their support to sleepy Joe.

Regarding Nantsie Pelosi calling Trump the “ most dangerous man in America “: she’s right. It’s just that he’s dangerous to her and the rest of the Dems...

@Geoff: I've never understood the logic of standing out in the cold to be sworn in. When I get elected President, I'll have a small ceremony in the Oval Office, then get to work. Assuming all goes well, I'll have a public ceremony on the first day of Spring, when the weather is nicer.

Objective Watchdog said...

@M Mitchell Marmel, I bet William Henry Harrison wishes he thought of that.

That's why I have always preferred "rack".

With apologies to Schlitz, I have a feeling this July will be the convention that makes Milwaukee famous.

Regarding procreation, I've yet to find a Liberal who can tell me what kind of magic is used to make a man responsible for a child that was just an annoying part of a women's body and none of a father's business. Course, the baby killers believe in "truth" not facts.

This just in: After supposedly spending a half-billion dollars, Bloomberg has just announced he's pulling out, thus proving that you can't buy yourself a national election. With your own money anyway.

Sleepy Joe: Once again, it looks as though ironically-called Democrats have had their candidate picked for them.

So the question now is will the MSM be able to censor the walking gaffe machine enough to make him seem not senile and/or crazy by November? My rough calculus on this suggests that at the current rate of increasing gaffes coming out of his mouth, he may be at 100% gaffeage long before November. Most likely around the time of the Democratic convention. Should be fun watching.

Speaking of the MSM: The seemingly sudden retirement of Chris Matthews clearly challenges my maxim that there is nothing a Progressive can do to permanently destroy their career as long as they are faithful to the Progressive agenda. So was the problem that he wasn't enthusiastic enough? Hard to know. Perhaps something else interesting is about to come out...

@ M. Mitchell Marmel: Right on! But it should be communism not socialism. And they're both dangerously stupid.

So Doomberg finally realized he's pissing his money away, and is throwing in the towel. Just when is Lieawatha going to realize she's pissing in the wind and drop out?

Any bets? Today? Tomorrow? Never? Inquiring idiots want to know...

Wait... The early polls (2 years back, almost) were right and Sleepy Joe was the front-runner for the nomination(D) all along!?

On one hand, my jaw is on the ground. On the other, maybe Biden will adopt Friedman's "Team of Rivals" BS and deep-six his chances of gaining votes from non-Communist-leaning Demn voters. (And pray his handlers don't think a sub-rosa version of "Bernie for Secretary of Treasury" is a great way to buy off the red nut from Vermont again.)

If he does get shut out of the DNC nomination, let's start a grassroots campaign for Bernie Sanders to run as a third-party candidate!

Old Cannonballs said...

This is looking more and more like they're headed for a brokered convention and a possible Hildebeast candidacy. But no matter what figurehead the powers behind the DNC select, the streets of Milwaukee ought to make the streets of "Dump the Hump" yippie-inspired Chicago look like a Sunday picnic in a convent's cloister.

Stilton,
You must have a crystal ball or something! You absolutely nailed your predictions. The Dims always brag about being transparent; well they sure nailed transparency on this one… AGAIN. We all saw this coming when Ol’ Frizzy Hair won New Hampshire and Nevada. Is this more proof that Shrillary is waiting in the wings and orchestrating the DNC’s every move? Wanna bet the old hag called Bloomberg at 3 AM and said, “You know what to do, Mike, do it tomorrow.”

@Objective Watchdog,
An honest mistake… Creepy Joe has probably had sex with both women.

@Bobo the Hobo,
”The only thing that would top this would be if Hillary! waddled back onto the political stage. What do you mean “if?”

@M. Mitchell Marmel,
Hmmm…. We all know Trump would absolutely hold his next inauguration at Mira Lago if he wanted. I would laugh my old wrinkley ass off!

@John the Econ,
Agreed. By the time November rolls around Joe may very well be totally incoherent. Then, the conventioneers will be saying to each other, “My oh my, what WILL we do? Here we are with this blathering idiot for a candidate. If only there were someone to save the day... Wait!” If this doesn’t happen (and Lord knows the Dims really could be stupid enough to ride Joe all the way to November), the debates with Trump will be priceless to watch.

@igor,
I’m guessing Lizzie will ride out the next primary, but yeah, she’s toast. She may be hanging on trying to score a cabinet post, but I don’t think President Trump will hire her.

Wow. Boomberg and Tingles McFeely both out? What will we do? What will we do?
I think I'll make me a bacon and egg sammich (extra bacon) and take a nap.

John the Econ said...

Again, a brokered convention is not going to be the resurrection of Hillary. Biden is no less popular than Hillary ever was, and Hillary's "negatives" are far beyond Biden's. At worst, Biden is a softly-corrupt senile fool. Hillary is honestly despised, even by Democrats.

Tingles McFeely: Here's a more reasonable explaination.

The real reason Chris Matthews was fired from MSNBC

Chris Matthews didn’t get fired for being a sex monster. He got fired for doing his job.

Saying crazy stuff doesn’t get you fired from MSNBC. It’s only saying stuff that annoys the Left that gets you fired from MSNBC. But that was what was important about Matthews — he’s an impeccably credentialed Democrat (Jimmy Carter speechwriter, aide to Tip O’Neill, guy who “felt this thrill going up my leg” when he heard Barack Obama speak) who doesn’t always stick to the party line.

@Objective Watchdog- That's okay. Usually he confuses little girls for his wife.

@M. Mitchell Marmel- Tough but fair!

@Mike- In fairness, he can't tell the difference between them in the dark, either.

@Regnad Kcin- I've always just considered Biden to be gaffe-prone, but lately I think he really IS showing signs of mental deterioration.

@REM1875- I couldn't make myself do a crossover vote, even to screw with the other side. I think if I looked at the Democrat line up on a voting machine, my face would melt like a Nazi looking into the ark of the Covenant.

@Geoff King- That's where they swear him in by putting his hand on the...um...you know...the thing, right?

@Bobo the Hobo- Yeah, I'm thinking brokered (and broken) convention. And I still don't think Hillary is really out of the race. For one thing, she still has a pulse.

@FlyBoy- On the bright side, maybe Bernie can get another house as a bribe to give in.

@M. Mitchell Marmel- Makes sense to me. Why freeze tens of thousands of supporters?

@Objective Watchdog- It's sad how few young people are likely to know what the hell you're talking about. Me, I think it's funny!

@M. Mitchell Marmel- Bernie Sanders has promised human-sized plastic bubbles that can be worn by everyone attending his inauguration.

@TrickyRicky- I was actually going to say "rack," but "knockers" is funnier. And I agree that the convention is going to be a wild one!

@Liberty Card- I die a little inside every time I hear the phrases "Baby Mama" or "Baby Daddy," because they speak to how low we've fallen. And I'm not singling out any racial group - those terms are used by ALL groups now. Heaven help us.

@John the Econ- I'm crushed that Bloomberg has dropped out, because the way he was passing out money made me think he might try to buy my silence. But nooOOooo. Regarding Democrats again getting their actual wishes and votes ignored, you'd think they'd catch on by now. And I, too, think there may be more to the Chris Matthews "retirement" story.

Seriously, Bernie's hardcore supporters are fire-breathing commies. If they see Bernie getting screwed by the DNC again, I think there's going to be some serious ANTIFA-on-steroids street fighting violence going on in Milwaukee. Milwaukee is hot in July. And really, it won't even take a brokered convention. It's obvious that the fix is in already, and Crazy Bernie may not even get enough delegates to force a brokered convention. He might just go down in flames, and that would not go down well with the more, ah, enthusiastic of his supporters, the ones that have a bit of trouble with impulse control.

Chris Mathews quit? I always thought his final show would have been when he went berserk on set, chewed the corner off his desk and peed on the camera operator's leg. It would have been grand to see him shot with a ketamine dart, and dragged off the stage.

Pat Cummings said...

@Jess: Yeah—instead, Matthews shot himself in the foot (by peeing in the MSM narrative), chewed the scenery in his announcement, then dragged his own sorry ass off the set...

So now it's down to a couple of septuagenarian multimillionaire white-males. Clearly, diversity is not the Democrat's strength. Why are Democratic voters such sexists and racists?

This also makes Trump the youngest of the likely contenders.
