Spin Cycle
The Mueller Report is finished and the results are known. There was no evidence whatsoever of Russian collusion by Trump or anyone associated with him. There was no evidence whatsoever of any conspiracies amongst Trump and his people. And there was no objective evidence that Trump made any attempt to obstruct justice, even though Mueller - in a spectacular act of weasel-wording - chose to say that this lack of evidence "did not exonerate" Trump, and the decision should be made by the Attorney General of the United States. And that decision was (drum roll)... that there was no obstruction of justice.
In other words, all of the accusations we've heard from mainstream media talking heads, sleazy politicians, and Obama-era intelligence agency heads were complete and total lies, fabricated out of pure hatred and a desire to overturn the results of a Presidential election.
We should be in a celebratory mood over the Mueller Report, but we're not. After all, we've known the charges were baseless since before Trump was even sworn in. Nor can we take any pleasure in the notion that Mueller's Report is going to change the dialogue in the media or in Washington DC, because it won't make a damn dime's worth of difference. MSNBC, CNN, and the roughly five thousand Democratic presidential candidates are already out there proclaiming that this two year, $40 million dollar investigation doesn't clear Trump of anything. As AOC notably said (and we paraphrase for intelligibility) "it's more important to be morally right than factually accurate."
This comes as no surprise and, at this point, not even much of a disappointment. But what does concern us - a lot - is what comes next in terms of bringing to justice the many high-ranking officials, including Obama, Hillary, and various intelligence heads, who tried to destroy the American election system and, failing that, subsequently attempted a Presidential coup d'etat.
That's the type of thing traditionally sorted out with fair trials and firing squads, although we'd be satisfied to see long, long jail sentences. Obama did a pretty good job of emptying his friends and allies out of our containment facilities at Guantanamo Bay, so we know there's plenty of room down there for those enemies of our nation and Constitution who no longer deserve the privilege of living on American soil.

Clinton and her accomplices must be held accountable for their crimes. We DO NOT have a two tiered Criminal Justice System. The crimes will continue, if there are no convictions.
@Joseph ET -- I'm afraid we *do* have a two-tiered system, the crimes will continue, and there will be no convictions of Felonia von Pantsuit, Obama, or their minions.
If you think that we don't have a multi-tiered justice system, just look at what happens (or doesn't happen) to the varsity football players vice one of the masses. Or how rich kids (be they Beto or Kennedy or whomever) get away with much more than "normal" kids.
Same with paying taxes.
I really hope and pray Clinton, Obama, and minions will pay for their crimes. Maybe this time there *will* be some justice.
(Oh, and as an aside, just who are the Mexican Cartels paying off on this side of the border?)
Now that the dog and pony show is done, send in the clowns and let's start hanging the seditious bastards. Let's see... who should be at the top of the list, hmmm ?
Have to admit to experiencing a bit of schadenfreude at the progressive temper tantrum now in progress that is their impotent response to Mueller's report confirming that there is no evidence of the Trump campaign colluding with the Russkies.
A couple of things are missing.
One, where is the face palm comment from lefty Lucy (who I suspect had AOC as an understudy) about the report?
Second, no sultry, double entendre comment from Busty?
As for the results of this colossal waste of the country's resources all to try and prove a bitter, clinging, vile, venal, patholigical serial liar and twice repudiated POTUS candidate's delusions were true, this of course is not the end of it. And there will never be and end to it.
Just like there are those who still can't wrap their heads around the idea JFK waz cut down by an otherwise insignificant punk, there'll be those who long after we are gone who will never believe this country came close to a coup d'etat.
Wait til Trump wins re-election. We haven't seen anything yet!
And the MSM is predictably silent on the Clinton investigation. Maybe Barr will train the spotlight on that one. They can't ignore it if it becomes news.
I can only hope and pray that President Trump will unleash everything at his disposal to make 'Night of the Long Knives' look like a Girl Scout picnic by comparison. Payback time on steroids.
And, on another note; our favorite news provider just morphed into PMSNBC. Grrrrrrr
When you try to overthrow the King, failure is not an option as payback is heil.
Now, we will see what President Trump will do to punish these pretenders and hopefully it will include Grand Juries, Special Councils and subpoenas. I want to see just how deep President Trump's grudge gets. He owes these bastarts big time and I want to watch the squealing, finger pointing and ratting out from these low lives. Now way in heil will an apology be forthcoming nor and admittance to lying.
I disagree about seeking revenge. It will only erode the positives. The best revenge will be having Trump reelected, preferably by a landslide.
How in the hell can there be obstruction of justice for a NONEXISTENT crime? There is NO evidence that the Trump organization, or Trump as an individual colluded with the Russians, unlike Ma Barker, the Obama DOJ, the Obama FBI, the Obama CIA....Starting to see a trend there?
"But what does concern us - a lot - is what comes next in terms of bringing to justice the many high-ranking officials, including Obama, Hillary, and various intelligence heads, who tried to destroy the American election system and, failing that, subsequently attempted a Presidential coup d'etat."
This, times 1,000!!! It is time for heads to roll, if only figuratively, although I would prefer literally (one of the most overused words in our language, but I mean it this time). If there are no consequences for those responsible for this corruption of our electoral system the most successful experiment in self-governance in history is done, with horrible and perhaps irreversible consequences.
When the new (i.e. not totally corrupt) DOJ and FBI investigate the origins of this coup attempt, the plot will undoubtedly slither it's way into Obama's White House.
The other conspirator who I hope is not forgotten is John McCain. This whole scheme needed one big shot Republican to cover the stench of Democrat partisanship. Who better to lend it that facade than the great "Statesman", John McCain.
We will have this one and only chance to restore credibility to a failing justice system. The crooks must pay for their crimes.
Seems to me that proving the guilt of the Clinton/Øbama Snydicate, Comey and the FBI, et al should take far less than the two years wasted on this farce investigation. Considering the short attention span of the American public, perhaps it would be better for Team Trump to hold off on any subpoenas or hearings until closer to the election. Say around this time next year?
There's already been plenty of testimony offered concerning how all this rot against President Trump began. Go back to the meetings and e-mails and phone called when the idea of using phony FISA warrants against him were first discussed. Start there and bring everyone involved before the Star Chamber, break them emotionally and financially, threaten their families, turn them against their friends, then threaten to jail them if they mention even the slightest word about what's going on.
No one gets a pass, from Citizen Obama to the Clinton's, to the congress monkeys and talking heads who have been telling us for two years that they have "evidence." Get them under oath; it's time to put up or shut up, under penalty of law.
And to Rosie and Alyssa and all the other Hollywood-types who can't seem to avoid dumping their political crap on the rest of us: NOBODY CARES WHAT YOU THINK! We never did, we never will. Shut up and just go away.
One last thing: Barbra, Canada awaits!
So all of the libs are up in arms over the “did not exonerate” comment from Mueller. First of all, it wasn’t Mueller’s job to exonerate Trump. Secondly, if Trump was never charged with a crime, why does he need exoneration at all?
I hope this is the last time we hear the words "Russian Collusion", but I doubt it. They have been claiming this, for about 3 years, with no evidence but they keep trying to beat a dead horse. If there is any collusion look at the Clintons and Odumbo.
STOP already.
Not only did the Democrats try to take down the President, they made us pay the bill for their $40 million dollar vindictive coup d'état project. Just shows what contempt they have for the American people - first of all, they think we're all stupid and secondly, that we all just exist to support their ego-serving elitistism financially like slaves on a plantation.
Everyone who was surprised by any of this raise your hands.
I thought so.
My only thought is that it's a shame that this could not have dragged on for another 18 months so that it had concluded just before the 2020 election. That way, Trump could have lauded nearly 4 years of real economic growth that benefited all Americans while pointing out that all the Democrats had to contribute to the conversation was over 3 years and 8-figures wasted on a distraction created by the Clinton campaign, the Green New Deal, and communism.
Of course, the real question that an actual inquiring media would now be asking is "Why did we just go through all of this?". And of course, we here already know the answer to that one as well: Because the Democrats attempted a coup and needed to cover for the Watergate-surpassing misdeeds of the Clintons and Obama Administration. And of course, we also know that this is the exact reason why the left and their pliant muppets in the media will be see to it that the whole embarrassing Mueller fiasco will be flushed down the memory hole by the end of spring, and it will be as though none of this ever happened by 2020.
As for the "morally right" but factually inaccurate AOC:
Ocasio-Cortez Calls For Radical Gun Ban, Champions Confiscation
Democratic socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) called for banning all semi-automatic firearms on Thursday night after championing New Zealand's radical new gun control measures, which includes government confiscation of nearly all semi-automatic firearms.
Leftists were having near-orgasms on air last week watching New Zealand announce a massive gun ban as a response to the recent mosque shooting.
All I can say in response is that when you have prominent politicians declaring that "it's more important to be morally right than factually accurate", it's even more important to be well armed. After all, wasn't that the mindset of the actual Nazis of the '30s that we're all supposed to be afraid are taking over?
Time for the AG to move in and bayonet the wounded. If Justice is not served, we fail to exist as a nation! This sort of behavior is treason, and needs to be treated as such because there will be repeat offenders and like-minded sleazebuckets keeping the Treason ball rolling no matter how they can push it.
For a wonderful, palm-lined incarceration facility where the warm breezes blow might I suggest Camp Freedom on Diego Garcia? Perfect place to send the miscreants because access is *extremely* limited to DG. Been there, seen that. Just a thought...
AMEN, BROTHER! Somebody get a rope!
@Joseph ET & @Dan, actually now we have a multi-tiered justice system. The powerful and wealthy either are not bothered or can buy their way out. The poor and criminal now are simply ignored, and are permitted to flaunt law and order with de facto impunity.
This is what I've been calling the Progressive War on the Middle Class. You have to obey all the laws. You have to pay all your taxes. If you fail to comply fully, the overwhelming power of the state will enthusiastically come down on you and seize your property and freedom. If you are a Clinton-level crook, you get to stay rich and free whole employing an army of lawyers to keep you that way. If you're a meth-head street thug, the system doesn't care. (And as shown in the video linked above, the thugs know and take advantage of that fact, rendering our cities uninhabitable) The rest of us are told to suck it up an accept it.
@Jim Irre, and the MSM will remain quiet regarding the Clintons, because doing anything otherwise would be acknowledgement that they've either ignored or covered for them for a quarter century. They just want this all to go away, and it will.
@Fred Ciampi & James Daily, one of the features of our supposedly mature and orderly republic is that we don't go all Night of the Long Knives on the political opposition. Which is just another example of why in reality Trump is the worst Nazi-Fascist ever. I agree with @Fish Out of Water. Success is the best revenge.
@TrickyRicky, I wholeheartedly agree that as long as there are no consequences, nothing will change.
Domestic enemies, and should be dealt with as such.
Terminally.
@John the Econ: The Ametica you describe sounds like a mix of Brave New World and 1984.
@ James Daily said: Now, we will see what President Trump will do to punish these pretenders...
I do not believe for one minute that we will ever see that. However, my dear father many decades ago said, "Son, the opposite of love is not hate. Love and hate are just different sides of the same coin. The opposite of hate is apathy!" The principal being that President Trump should just let them stew in their own juices waiting for the reaction they would have if the roles were reversed. The anticipation of a reaction that never comes would have a larger (IMO) effect on them than anything he could do at this point. The will be so busy looking over their shoulders they will not see the losses they will suffer that are right in front of them.
Mueller could not man-up and make a clean legal decision. He had to make a weaselly shyster lawyer comment. Typical liberal bullying tactic. Obama admin. full of this type of immoral, unprincipled dem-leftist lawyer.
Like Sarah Sanders said about a month ago.
Democrats aren't after the truth. They're after the President.
Truer words....
What was it... 20 million? 40 million? It's good to know we've provide support and enrichment to lawyers and their associates across the nation.
So how much of that 20 or 40 mil will become political contributions?
Next time we have a special counsel (or whatever it's called) the funding authority should specify that no one hired or paid under that authority can make a political contribution to any party, PAC, or candidate for the duration of the investigation and for a period of two general elections thereafter.
I, personally, hold out no hope that anyone involved with the orchestration or execution of this travesty will ever see justice. It's just how "things" are done in the sphere of the WDC elitists.
As for anything good coming of it: our leftist counterparts will not accept this result. They are an illogical, immature, easily stirred up, violent bunch with a tendency to act out their frustrations. I foresee terrible trouble, and I stay here just the same...
@Emmentaler Limburger- Bonus points for the nice Steely Dan reference!
It would appear that the Dems are going to spend the next two years beating the same limp-headed drum instead of doing their jobs, so dare we predict a red landslide of epic proportions in November 2020? Trump will never carry California, New York, or Hawaii, but I think the other 54 states (math courtesy of Barry) could very easily go red. Hell, I'd settle for Trump winning the electoral AND popular vote. If this happens, or something even close to it, I'll make another bold prediction. The Dems will drag out even more limp-headed drums instead of learning their lessons.
And, what did Mitch McConnell's Tweet to Comey mean? Do the Republicans really have enough balls to go after Hillary's gang of scofflaws? Is AG Barr willing to go down that road? Could get interesting, but I'm not holding my breath.
Lather, rinse, spin, repeat.....when are we going to be able to hang these wet blankets out to dry?
More and more names to be added to the book of expendables of the swamp. When Uncivil War II starts, justice will prevail upon many of the liars and pedophiles of dc and other cities. How many light poles are there on the mall? Not enough. Oh....not by me. My children are telling me all the time what a gentle, peace-loving man I am. But...it will come from the quiet ones.
I read the blog and follow the commentary often, but seldom offer my own take on all this. There are many more literate writers offering opinions consistently; someone usually says it better than I ever could. But, opinions on today's topic of innocence/exoneration seem to be about evenly split and I, for one, would cast my vote along the lines of "Revenge is a dish best served cold." Let the nematodes squirm under the harsh light of public scrutiny.
And... speaking of AOC, Revenge can sometimes be morally right IF (after careful scrutiny) the facts are found to be factually accurate. Justice and balance are somewhere in that milieu, also.
@Doctor Deadhead- And nary a "harrumph!" was heard.
@Joseph ET- I wholeheartedly agree. Our government and our election system can not survive this kind of attack unless appropriate justice is pursued and executed.
@Dan- We definitely do have a two-tiered system, but I'd like to believe - or at least hope - that something can be done about it. I was encouraged by Lindsey Graham's statement that he's going to go after the people who (my words, not his) attempted to overthrow the government and the will of the American people.
@Regnad Kcin- It's hard for me to say who should be at the top of that list although, surprisingly, I don't think it would be Hillary. Oh, she's guilty of plenty - but we've always known what kind of evil uber-political bitch she is. I'm angrier at the intelligence department heads who violated their oaths and weaponized our justice system (and, oh yeah, destroyed their credibility).
@jpb252- Oh, I've got a little schadenfreude, but the Lefties are still in denial and spinning lies instead of apologizing or doing actual penance.
@Fish Out of Water- I can't work Lucy and Busty into every post, but I agree that it would be good to hear their perspectives. And your other points are right on target. The scope and immensity of what almost happened still doesn't seem to have dawned on people.
@Jim Irre- If a Clinton investigation (which would drag in half of Washington) actually happens, the MSM will report on it only as an abuse of power and further proof that Trump is running a fascist administration. That being said, I hope a big legal hammer drops on the lot of 'em.
@Fred Ciampi- I hesitate to use terms like "payback" or "revenge," and prefer to use the word justice. Especially since in this case, there's no practical difference.
And yes, I'm beyond upset that Fox News hired Donna Brazile. If they hired an intelligent liberal like Camille Paglia, I'd actually be delighted to hear some interesting disagreements - but Brazile is a purely political operative who handed Hillary debate questions secretly. Eff her and the horse she rode in on. I won't watch her, and if Fox News parades her around too much I'll cut back my viewership accordingly.
@Fish Out of Water- As I said, I'm not for seeking "revenge" as such. But the issues here are too big and important not to pursue. If Lee Harvey Oswald had missed Kennedy's noggin, would we say "well, let's forget it and hope Kennedy gets reelected?" No. This was an unprecedented cabal of corruption and if we don't discourage it, legally, we encourage it. Not acceptable.
@TrickyRicky- I agree completely. There was no collusion or obstruction of justice by Trump. There WAS an attempt to overthrow an election by a sitting president and his minions. If we ignore that, we might as well hang it up as a nation.
@joe jetson- Very well said.
@Geoff King- I agree with you from a political standpoint, but I think the issues are too important to be used as a chess piece. Going after these people now, and going after them hard, is the very essence of draining the swamp. And it can't wait.
@Murphy(AZ)- I've got nothing to add to that. You're exactly right!
@FlyBoy- And if the "crime" never took place, doesn't that make all of this speculation even MORE ridiculous?
@Judi King- I was just watching the evening news (and drinking, although that may be redundant) and many of the top-ranking (emphasis on "rank") Dems aren't giving an inch on Russian collusion. Adam Schiff, that bug-eyed weasel, is stating outright that he's aware of PLENTY of evidence of criminal collusion between Trump and the Russians. He needs to produce that evidence publicly within about 24 hours, or have it waterboarded out of him. (I mentioned that I'm drinking, right...?)
@Anonymous- What you say is exactly right but, sadly, the Dems have been correct in their assumptions about what they could get away with. I'm hoping that's about to change in a "bigly" way.
@John the Econ- One of the reasons I can't really get excited by the Mueller findings is, as you point out, that every rational person in America already knew the truth for two years. I'm glad, though, that it's NOT continuing; even though it might be useful politically, how much have our geopolitical interests been damaged by two years of unfriendly foreign nations believing that Trump was about to go to jail? When Trump met with Kim in Vietnam, did the little despot offer no concessions because he thought Trump was a lame duck? We can't afford to have a President be crippled that way.
Regarding AOC and grabbing guns, I agree with you about the importance of being - and remaining - well armed. We've just witnessed an attempted coup d'etat which apparently had the support of one of our major political parties and about 90% of the media. At a time like this, the 2nd Amendment falls under the category of "checks and balances."
@Igor- All I can say is "yep." And it's a strong "yep" at that.
@Walter L Stafford- A sturdy rope to drag people into court, right? Right...?
@John the Econ- Good points all, about which I would say more if it weren't for the darned Clan MacGregor I swallowed while watching the news.
@Alej- First, fair trials. Second, appropriate sentencing. I'll just leave it at that...
@Fish Out of Water- There's a meme being passed around on Facebook showing us at the center of a Venn diagram consisting of Brave New World, 1984, and Fahrenheit 451. The funny thing is that it's being shared by conservatives AND liberals, both of whom believe it's damning of the other side. (Spoiler alert: it's damning of the Left)
@American Cowboy- I mostly agree with you, except that the bad guys won't be looking over their shoulders unless they believe - with reason - that they're being pursued.
@Jan Blickenstaff- Mueller came fairly close to issuing his report with integrity, but the asterisk next to "obstruction of justice" proves that he's another partisan hack.
@Jason Anyone- Sarah Sanders speaks the truth.
@Dan- I've been quoting the $40 million figure, though have seen other amounts mentioned. All I know is it wasn't really a great return on our investment.
@Emmentaler Limburger- Yeah, we're pretty much in the same camp on this one. I hope both of us are wrong, and a flaming sword will appear in the sky with merriment following soon thereafter.
@TrickyRicky- Didn't Steely Dan warn you not to lose a number?
@Colby Muenster- I can't begin to make any predictions about 2020. We're in Wonderland/Bizarro World now, and the laws of cause and effect (and a lot of OTHER laws) don't seem to apply anymore. I'm just hanging on by my fingernails and trying to enjoy - or at least survive - the ride.
@miniskunk- The phrase "twisting in the wind" comes to mind...
@Sortahwitte- I genuinely hope our nation never sees that kind of violence needed to restore justice and order. Sadly, the degree to which our institutions of law and justice were corrupted and weaponized by Obama and company makes my ideal a little harder to believe in.
@Anonymous- You need to chime in more often - you're doing fine! I largely agree with your thought about "letting the nematodes squirm under the harsh light of public scrutiny," except...where is that public scrutiny going to come from? Certainly not the "news" media or the Leftists themselves. And sadly, their followers don't care about facts.
We're definitely on the same page, though, that revenge and justice can have moral equivalency if the right hoops are jumped through. The guilty should be punished, but - in direct opposition to those abusers on the Left - I want the innocent to be unharmed by the judicial process.
Maybe "grudge" was the wrong adjective but there is no way President Trump can let these crooks slide without accountability. Not only the congressional house and senate rats but the departments. How in the world can he let the the DOJ, FBI and CIA get by with an in house coup attempt? The dang HEADS of these departments were eyeball deep in this complicity.
All of this because the biggest crook ever in politics lost an election? Every person that voted for her is complicit in her felonies because their vote said it was o.k. to be an evil gangster. It was o.k. that over 30 people you knew were dead not of natural causes. It was o.k. to sell out the country for money you would never spend.
President Trump has got get on this quickly, this dish does not need to be eaten cold but rather while memories are fresh.
Speaking of winning:
Michael Avenatti charged with trying to extort more than $20 million from Nike
Yes, the creepy porn lawyer, Kavanaugh accuser, and Democratic Presidential hopeful that a year ago was on CNN so much that I had just assumed that they'd given him his own show may be going to prison.
“But all of my sexual fantasies involve handcuffs.”
At least it looks like he's going to get to live out one of his sexual fantasies. I'm sure that makes the girls from The View happy.
Is anyone else tired of the winning yet? Because I am not.
I can't directly copy the link as my 9 year old laptop has reached its end, and all I have now is the handheld.
There is a like minded blog. Knowledge is Power, whishaw posted yesterday, a video clip made by the GOP, about the Mueller report, which still has me laughing.
Have forwarded this vid over to some useful idiots, prog relatives to rub salt in the wound.
@john the Econ: In this morning's news is an article about this slimeball hinting the President is behind his legal troubles.
@Fish Out of Water, that's hardly a surprise. Trump made him co-mingle client and personal funds. (One of the few big no-nos of the legal profession) Trump drove him to try to extort Nike for 8-figures. His total mismanagement of Stormy left him touring Iowa and New Hampshire building support for a run for President while Stormy had to head back to the stripper poles in search for dollar bills in the g-string.
Yeah. Good luck with that.
BTW, if Trump was 1/5th the fascist dictator that the TDS left has been screaming for the last 3 years, Avenatti would have been disappeared a year ago. To the contrary, I've long argued that if Avenatti was not on Trump's payroll, he should have been. Anything he touches becomes repulsive and makes Trump look like a hero.
Meanwhile,
CNN analyst Mark Geragos said to be Avenatti’s alleged co-conspirator
Considering all of the near-full-time sleazeballs CNN has either platformed or hired during the Trump era, at what point can America sue them for continuing to call themselves "The Most Trusted Name in News"?
And this just in - good news for "hate crime" hoaxers:
Cook County prosecutors drop all charges against 'Empire' actor Jussie Smollett
"In a stunning reversal, Cook County prosecutors on Tuesday dropped all charges against "Empire" actor Jussie Smollett on disorderly conduct charges for allegedly staging a phony attack and claiming he was the victim of a hate crime. “We believe this outcome is a just disposition and appropriate resolution to this case,” a prosecutor said in announcing the dismissal of all 16 counts."
A "just disposition"? In what way? Just what is "just" about telling people that there will be no legal consequences to faking hate crimes designed specifically to inflame and divide people?
Not to be outdone, Jussie's lawyers argued that Jussie was actually the victim in all of this, adding "He was a victim who was vilified and made to appear as a perpetrator as a result of false and inappropriate remarks made to the public causing an inappropriate rush to judgement."
As AOC would say, it's more important to be "morally right" over factually correct.
And now charges against Smolett in Chicago have been dropped.
Good to know there's one justice system for all.
Re: jussy smuck and 2 tiers of justice.
See my remarks of March 25, above. This will not go on forever. I see a pale moon rising.
Well smolett is totally innocent and 2 white guys in MAGA hats got away with a hate crime....
Just-Us in chicongo for only 10,000 dollars .......
Sounds like a plea I heard one time; "I didn't do it and I wont do it again".
Smolett: black gay privilege at it's finest.
Who got paid off? and with how much? After all it is Chicago and Illinois.
A caller to a local radio station said he thinks it's a ploy to take the news off of President Trump, who has been doing all too well lately.
Even the Veto on the National Emergency and border wall was a big fail to his detractors in the swamp.
Hey folks, its Cook County. Did you expect anything less?
On the other hand, take this as a peek behind the curtain of justice in a Brave New "progressive " World.
I do not know who said it first but I totally agree with the following: The second day after the abolishment of the Second Amendment will be the First Day of the Second American Revolution.
Drawings should be held for spots on the firing squads like for doe tags.
The rifles used would get a stock inlay commemorating their use in a historic event.
Imagine the value of a Krag with an inlay bearing the names of any of the highest level Quislings and usurpers. That would be a family heirloom to have!

Dear Anonymous.....please put my name in the lottery basket for one of those rifles!!
