Saturday’s "National Moron Day" event proved to be a huge, stupid success as Leftists semi-spontaneously flooded the streets of cities major and minor to declare that there should be “No Kings” in America. Or maybe they were simply celebrating the fact that there are no Kings in America - their professionally printed signs were a bit vague on that score.
Still, the nation’s streets were royaling (see what I did there) with mostly white folks with good incomes or generous government benefits who apparently didn’t get the memo that our country hasn’t had a King since the American Revolution. Although in fairness, schools are so busy teaching kids how to put condoms on bananas (and the surprising places that banana can go) that there simply isn’t enough time to cover every little historical detail.
The protesters came out in throngs, except in San Francisco (where they came out in thongs owing to a possible communications error), to make clear that they will be against Kings...if any should magically appear.
Meanwhile, little Leftist children staged their own adorable marches carrying “No Boogeyman” signs, just in case one might finally be found under a bed some day.

Hey, me being currently 13 hours ahead of everyone else (its 14:07 Monday now) I get dibs on being first. Levity aside, events such as this proves to me just how terrified the other side is of Donald Trump. And if this so-called spontaneous outburst of the masses doesn't smell of being directed by a would-be leftist King, then what on earth does?
Somehow I doubt that he'll cancel that one. ;)

If the leftist king (Soros) was silent as he always is, then yes. There were at least 6 groups donating tens of millions to this "grassroots" protest. He was one of the biggest donors.

A hundred(ish) people showed up in little Beaver Dam Wisconsin to protest. When they were through, they all piled in their vans and convoyed back to Madison where they belong.

On a positive note, the weather was great & it's good for old folks to get out of the house for some fresh air & sunshine, maybe get a few steps in, some socialization. Even crabby insufferable old liberal white people!
I'm a No kings' supporter. This is why I have a military retiree ID card from 33 years in the service. Go Army beat Navy. My branch has been saying no kings for 250 years, so we are slightly ahead of the morons that were out this weekend.
Well, I have observed that "Riot Season" usually ends with cold and crappy weather, one "Great" thing about living in Wisconsin, they seem to settle down and not protest in the Winter as much!

This whole "No Kings" thing is part of the ongoing ironic impairment of the left. The people who are constantly crying "Threat to Democracy!" are upset with the results of democracy. They still haven't figured out that they're mad at the wrong people. There likely never would have been a President Trump without the Democratic Party insiders forcing the "inevitable" Hillary as their nominee in '16, and Kamala in '24, two people that most Americans found both repugnant and incompetent. Their talent pool going forward looks somewhat better coifed, but represent the same toxic agenda that created and powers MAGA.
Of all people, Bill Maher most concisely nailed what empowers the MAGA movement. Alas, the far left will continue to ignore the voters and double-down on crazy.

Like everyone here, I was hardly a fan of Clinton, Obama and Biden. But I went on with my life and thrived nonetheless. I can't imagine staying this mad and animated 8 months in. It's going to be another long 3 years for these people. Then they're going to vote for whatever crazy establishment leftist the Democrat party foists upon them again, lose, and then be mad. At you.
